response to your letter dated October 5, 2015 in regard to [redacted]’s [redacted] credit card.I contacted [redacted] by telephone this morning to review with him his experience while attempting to register his credit card online at CFNA.com.   I asked his permission to attempt to register his information myself.  The attempted registration did go through, so I did not complete the entire registration and asked him if he could attempt while I stayed on the phone with him.[redacted] completed his registration and while I was on the phone he also completed several online payments for his account. We apologize for the previous difficulties he experienced with the website, however, I am unable to advise exactly what was incorrect when he continued to receive the error messages that he had received. We hope that this is now satisfactory with [redacted], we would like to retain him as a satisfied customer.Sincerely,Mary [redacted] K[redacted]Mary [redacted] K[redacted] | Customer Service SpecialistCredit First National Association6275 Eastland Road, Brook Park, Ohio 44142[redacted]  [redacted]

2016 in regard to a complaint submitted by [redacted].We have reviewed Mr. [redacted]’s complaint stating that he did not receive statements. Our records indicate that statements were mailed to Mr. [redacted]’s home address for the months of August through December, 2015. Electronic notifications were sent to his email address for January and February, 2016 as shown below.   In addition, Mr. [redacted] contacted our Customer Service Department by telephone on October 16, 2015, November 4, 2015, and November 16, 2015, and by email on December 24, 2015.Late payment fees in the amount of $19.00 and $35.00 each were assessed to the account because the full minimum payments were not received by the following due dates; October 3, 2015,  November 3, 2015, December 3, 2015, as well as the January 3, 2016 due date. These late payment fees were billed correctly and the account balance is the responsibility of Mr. [redacted]. Interest charges in the amount of $48.48 were assessed to Mr. [redacted]’s account due to nonpayment of the Six Month Purchase by the due date. Interest charges are calculated on the Average Daily Balance from the date of purchase and are added to the account if we do not receive the exact Six Month Payment transaction amount when it is due.  As a courtesy, we have processed a credit in the amount of $48.48 for the interest charges assessed. This credit brought the account balance to zero.We hope the above information meets with your satisfaction.Sincerely,Christine K[redacted]Christine K[redacted] | Customer Service SpecialistCredit First National Association6275 Eastland Road, Brook Park, Ohio 44142P: 800.321.3950  F: 216.362.5069

On October 13, 2017 the payment was returned as unable to locate. This means the bank account information was incorrect or unrecognizable by [redacted] bank and no payment was made to us by her bank. A statement notification was sent on October 15, 2017 to [redacted] email on file. The statement would reflect the referenced transactions. On November 15, 2017 another statement notification was sent. This statement would have advised [redacted]
[redacted] that her account was past due. As a result of this payment error, we have agreed, as a goodwill gesture, to process a $35.00 late fee credit and $3.90 interest credit to [redacted] account. Please be advised [redacted] will be responsible for future fees. Our records indicate [redacted] account has a zero balance pending the processing of her payment received on November 21, 2017 in the amount of $199.44. In closing, the rating being reported for the month of November 2017 by CFNA has been cleared, and a new corrected rating has been submitted to her credit bureau. We appreciate this opportunity to be of service. Sincerely, Amanda C[redacted]-Customer Service Customer Service Department,                                                                                                               Phone: 800.321.3950 I Fax: 216.362.50691 www.CFNA.com
