December 7, 2017*** ***, Dispute Resolution SpecialistEuclid Ave, 4th Fl.Cleveland, OH 44115-2408Reference: CFNA / Firestone Account #xxxxx***Revdex.com Complaint ID #***Dear *** ***:Thank you for forwarding the above mentioned complaint filed by *** ***.Please note Credit First National Association (CFNA) previously responded to a Revdex.com complaint submitted by this same customer on December 5, 2017. As highlighted in our response, the driver’s license number of ***, which is currently assigned to *** ***, was used to open and validate this account. It is important to note this account charged-off on May 23, 2017, with an outstanding balance of $Even though the account charged-off due to non-payment, this does not mean the debt is forgiven. The period for reporting, as dictated by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), is seven years from the date of first delinquency. Thus, CFNA can report the status of this account until August 2023.In leiu of the above, we are unable to accommodate *** ***’s request to remove altogether the trade line from the customer’s credit profile. However, should she be willing to pay the outstanding balance reflected, we can then issue an update to the credit reporting agencies for this account that reflects “Charged-off - Paid in Full”.If there are any additional questions or concerns regarding this account, please contact our office at 1-877-888-for assistanceWe are available Monday through Friday from 8:a.mto 4:p.m., Eastern Standard Time.Sincerely,Lisa G*** | Credit OperationsCredit First National Association1-800-321-

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. As I stated previously, I sent the receipt to cfna that had the money order listed on itI do appreciate that they have cleared the $that I never owed, but they have not removed it from my credit report where they are still reporting it as a non-paymentThey need to remove that reporting immediately. I requested duplicate work orders, etc., dating back to the opening of the account so I could verify ALL purchases/chargesI've also requested that they reverse any interest charged at a rate higher than 6% to comply with service members relief act. I would like to know how they claim to have "verified" the application, because that IS NOT my signature, WAS NOT my address when the account was opened, WAS NOT The store I opened the account atFurthermore, the account history they provided doesn't show more than one addressWhy doesn't it show dates of any address changes? I've requested detailed information many times, information that cfna NEEDS to provide to comply with federal laws concerning credit reportingWhy does cfna refuse to share the requested information with me? It's because they are a SCAM company that is ripping off me, and undoubtedly thousands of other customers
[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]

August 10, 2015 *** *** *** * ** *** ** *** *** ** *** *** *** *** *** *** Re: CFNA / Firestone Account *** Dear *** ***, This letter will confirm our telephone conversation on Friday, August 7, concerning the complaint (ID#***)
filed with the Revdex.com on August 5th. We appreciate your acknowledgement of the outstanding balance of $on the above account, and regret the financial difficulties that you are now experiencingAs explained, in considering the amount of the balance due and your past paying history, we are willing to accept monthly payments of $for the months of August, September, and October onlyPlease note that these payments must be received by your due date of the 18th for each of these monthsDuring this repayment period, interest will continue to accrue on your balance, but (providing this arrangement is honored) late fees will be suspended as the account status will not progress to past dueHopefully, this temporary reduction of the minimum amount due will help you during this time. ** ***, your description of how you were treated by various members of my staff as well as a Supervisor in the Customer Service Department on August 5th, was very concerningAs I explained in our conversation, allegations such as these are taken very seriously here at CFNAWe are required by specific banking compliance regulations to record all of our customer calls, not just to ensure quality control, but for our customers' protection as wellI pulled the recordings from every call you refer to in your complaint, and reviewed each of the conversations between yourself and the representatives in the Collection and Customer Service DepartmentsI regret that your interpretation of these conversations were that you were treated 'rudely' and 'unprofessional', as I found them to be the contraryEach of these representatives attempted to assist you with your account - and did so in a courteous, professional mannerWhen your demands to speak with a Manager were not immediately met, you concluded that we were not being honestInvitations to leave a message on my voice mail were extended to you, yet I received no messages from you. Our records have been updated to reflect the above information, as well as a summary of your conversation with Richelle R***, Director of Collections, also on August 7thWe hope this temporary reduction in payments will be helpful to you at this time. in response to your letter dated December 1, 2017, in regards to a complaint submitted by *** ** ***. Please be advised that when *** ** *** applied for this account, she signed the application acknowledging our credit card agreementThe credit card agreement advised her of all the conditions to her credit card, including but not limited to: late fees, cut off time, interest, and our time frame to dispute an error on her statement. Our records indicate that *** ***'s due date is the first of every monthIt is the consumer's responsibility to review her statement each monthPlease be advised that if *** *** sees an error on her statement, she must contact us within days to dispute the error. The terms at this time are: any purchase of $and over will qualify for Months Deferred Interest with Monthly Minimum Payments RequiredAny purchase under the $amount is considered a regular revolving balance. Since *** *** made her qualifying purchase of $on April 22, 2017, each statement following for the next months showed a promotional purchaseThe statement included a "Promotional Balance", "Promotional Due Date", and "Interest Accrued". *** ***'s statements also notified her that her account was in a past due status on the first page of her statement under "Important Messages." Our records indicate *** *** processes her payments onlineWhen making an online payment after 5pm Eastern Time, our website does notify the consumer that the payment will be processed on the next business day. Late payment fees in the amount of $21.00, $19.00, and $were assessed to *** ***'s account, for her due dates of June 1, August 1, and November 1, 2017, as we did not receive a Minimum Monthly Payment by 5pm Eastern TimeAn accrued interest fee in the amount of $was assessed to *** ***'s account, because the promotional balance payoff was not received by her promotional due date of November 1, 2017.
