complaint, and response from Crest Furniture Inc. with the ID [redacted] ([redacted]). Crest furniture has responded saying that they cannot cover the claim as the sofa is peeling all over and that the peel did not occur with in 5 days of occurrence, even though in the pictures we sent them, there are other clear signs of wear and tear that did clearly happened within the 5 day period, such as the cuts on the inside of the 3 seat sofa, which they did not respond about. In addition to this, we talked to an employee at Value City furniture, and they told us that the model of sofa that we bought has since been discontinued both by the manufacturer and value city themselves, because of a manufacturing defect, which would've taken longer than 5 days to manifest. We bought the sofa less than 3 years ago, at a premium price and it has already become wrecked. What else do you expect us to do? We bought insurance and everything, and while buying insurance, the employee who helped us choose out this sofa said the warranty for fabric sofas covers almost all damage. I am extremely furious.

Unfortunately we can only give you a prorated amount as you have already had the furniture for about three years now.. We can not transfer the credit to an other store that its not one of ours.

I did call Ashley Furniture, the...
person I was suppose to call Tonya at [redacted]. Tonya left a message 6/1/16 at 9:15 am. I returns her call on 6/2/16 at 2:15pm and left a message. I waited until 9:30am 6/3/16 to see if she would return the call, no response was made, I left another message. On 6/6/16 I called at 9:34am and finally reached Tonya. Tonya said she was going to put a voucher in the system to replace the chair and advised me to wait a day then go to the store I bought the chair and purchase another using the voucher. Any additional fees would be paid by me. Once the furniture was delivered they would pick up the damaged chair. I did agree to the delivery charge, but if they want the damaged chair back, the delivery charge should have been waived. I would have picked the chair up at the store.

We have been trying to call the customer to schedule in home repair as this is a customer cause damage and we can not give her a refund or store credit when damages are caused by the customer and are repairable.

The table was returned today and was damaged. The company left staples in the repaired leaf and placed all the leaves back in the table and closed it. Which in turn damaged another leaf. The driver called the company and they had to take back the leaf that they damaged, since from the beginning I only wanted them to take the damaged leaf and they refused to do so. So I am requesting that the company is sent another message as they did not return my table in a satisfactory manner. If I do not receive a response in a timely manner I will open a new complaint with your organization on Monday morning.

receive the replacement piece as well as the replacement damaged cushion. I have been without a cushion on my sida since april 11th, which is almost 2 weeks now. I had to file this complaint to get them to replace the damaged left armchair and call the store to let them know I filed the complaint. I have been dealing with this for almost two weeks now. This is not acceptable. When I call abd soak to their customer service, they are rude. I sent pictures as requested and they were not even reviewed until I called on the day I was supposed to receive a response. I'm tired if the lack of urgency on their part. I've had this set for two weeks ( in two days) with a missing danaged cushion) and a damaged love seat and I had to file this repirt to get any action. They didn't even put a rush on the replacement order.

I am rejecting this response because:
I asked about cushion sagging when we paid for extended warranty and was told it was included. Asked again in person at store I purchased at (less than a yr. later) and was given same response. Also, was not told that I had I had to file my complaint in less that a week for warranty to be valid on cushion.I also had a service man out as so called courtesy and was told the man would install the cushions at my house when customer service set up the appointment. Bottom line, we have been lied to about what the extended warranty includes when we spent the extra money for it and lied to that the repairs would be done in our home the day we rearranged our day for the repair man. Then he left without doing the repairs after speaking with customer service. Who takes up the prior two months saying they are sending cushions, then next call they are not sending them. Our cushions arrived sporratically and we were told when we got them the repair person would be out to sew them on. The furniture is very poor quality and two of the cushions they sent that don't require sewing(for the loveseat are already sagging). My ideal settlement would be refund and the ability to purchase sofa somewhere else that would last a lot longer than months before cushions sag and wrinkle.

stained with vomit, casings will be useless unless I get cushions or the sofa can't be used. Again I am only asking for the "no worry" contract to be honored. Thank you for your time.
The merchandise was delivered to the customer over 4 years ago so we cannot offer a refund as the value of the merchandise has depreciated. We will offer to pick up the table and have it refinished in our shop.
The customer is scheduled to have the chairs replaced this coming Wednesday 6/04/14.
Yes we are still having an issue with value city furniture.
I'm not sure what else you can do to help us with this matter.
I can assure you we have never had a bug issue in our brand new home.
If you google value city and bed bugs you will see for yourself it's a HUGE on going problem. It's disgraceful.

My name is [redacted], I am replying to a delivery issue. I passed along the concerns to [redacted] store manager of the [redacted] Value City Furniture. He informed me that it was discussed and accepted a $50 gift card would be sent out for the ETA troubles...
and that he apologized for the inconvenience. As of now the items are still pending delivery, but the store is working diligently to deliver them as soon as they arrive in our warehouse from the manufacturer. If anymore concerns arise please notify [redacted] at the [redacted] Value City Furniture and he will assist.
