      Called the customer and left message to return call. I can not locate him in our system.

I am rejecting...

this response because:(1) While "we can not give a full refund as customer was aware of delay on special order items" 
is not acceptable to us. The vendor (Value City Furn DOES NOT NOTE THE AMOUNT "Not give a full refund " equals in dollars and cents.
(2) The fact that the Vendor is saying this was a "Special Order IGNORES THE FACT that the salesperson Nicole DID NOT ADVISE US AT THE TIME OF PURCHASE THAT THIS ORDER WAS A "SPECIAL ORDER".
(3) The cancellation of subject order was due to the incapacity of the merchants vendor to produce quality merchandise as evidenced by our rejection of the delivery on November 8th from the same manufacturer.
(4) Additionally, as well as the instability of merchants (Value City Furn)  vendor ([redacted]) to know the status of their merchandise. This is in regards to an order placed with Value City for living Room Furniture  by the same manufacturer. 
 Accordingly, we afgain respectfully request full refund of $2,983.85

     we called customer to inform that we will give them store credit as a courtesy as this had animal damage.

To Whom This May Concern,
 
The consumer has a large depression in their mattress and the wrong size box springs. We called the consumer and offered new pieces for all three items and the consumer accepted.

The customer is not covered for the issues the table is experiencing as stated in the response. There are no refunds given on products due to damage (not defect). We have schedule the pick up for the refinishing of the table as a courtesy on 9/27/14 and we believe that is a fair compromise. The technician's report states, "7/19/14 technician John  found finish peeling in several places. There are also light scratches all over table top along with white stains from hot plates. Looks to be improper cleaning and water damage." The technician sent to the customer's home is a subcontractor working for JA Furniture Repair so as to receive an unbiased opinion. Attached is a picture of the scratches on the table.

Furniture does not pick up the phone and does not reply to messages left on their voice mailbox. Ashley furniture never provided an email address to send the pictures to. It would be great if they a) assigned this issue to a particular person b) provided a person's email address to send the pictures to c) gave a case number or something to reference my issue. It has been months since I've tried to resolve this. Thanks

I am rejecting this response because:When I spoke last to [redacted] from the store in Greenbrook on April 2.  She said that the 'money was noted to be back in my account' and she placed a new request for a refund to be sent to my address via Certified Mail.  [redacted] acknowledges I am not their customer and have not been for quite some time.  The check must have been sent to them from Crest Furniture by error.

response because: their estimation of accumulation and cause of damage vs quality of products are convoluted. Additionally the furniture continued to deteriorate from the beginning/opening  of the  claim to the time our claim was responded to by [redacted]'s customer service regarding the quality of the pieces we procured.

 All of the terms are correct except the business has not confirmed a delivery date and returned our call.

We do not allow comfort returns. We only replace merchandise if it is damaged or defective and not repairable. We had a technician in the customer's home back in 2012 and they reported that there were no defects to the merchandise just that the customer was unhappy with it. At that time we offered the customer a 2nd opinion with a different technician but they refused. They are now asking us to replace furniture that is nearly 2 years old with out allowing us to have a technician examine the merchandise. We will absolutely repair any issues the customer has with the merchandise but we can not replace it with out even being able to evaluate it.

      We can not pick up for a refund as this was furniture that was sold as is no service after day of delivery. The customer called in for service a month after delivery.

Our records indicate that parts were delivered to the customer on 4/07/16. I placed an order for new knobs. please note that this is being done as a courtesy as normal wear and tear is not covered under the protection plan purchased by the customer.

The customer had not finished paying the original mattress off so that was why there was an additional balance. We will pick up the customer mattress and box spring for a full refund. Any debt the customer has with the card will be void after the merchandise is returned to our warehouse.
