Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

I am not able to attend the 2017 Tough Mudder event in the Twin Cities because I have a family reunion that weekend.  I will however accept a transfer to the Chicago event for Saturday August [redacted] if Tough Mudder can change my tickets then I am fine with that solution. Thanks

The customer never responded to the confirmation of receipt; this will be taken care of in the next day or so, as we have reopened the case.

This is being resolved through Tough Mudder customer service.

The TM reps are pointing to the T&Cs that are signed when the general race is paid for well before the event as an all inclusive waiver of rights to literally anything that occurs on the property. However, the baggage drop area is not specifically stated within these terms and conditions. In addition, when paying the additional fee to leave my personal belongings in the care of tough mudder employees within a covered area, there is an implication that my bag would be protected from theft and damage. If the baggage drop area was offered as a free service, I would not pursue compensation for my damaged property.

Brian's ticket was transferred over to the Chicago event on October **, 2016. We additionally have resent his confirmation email with his order details to him.

Hi,This case was not resolved. I was out of the country with out access to email or phone from June ** 2015 to July * 2015. Tough Mudder responded to my original complain that it was being handled through TM customer support. Again this is not the case because they do not respond to any of my emails, or acknowledge any of the questions that are in my complaint. I want this handled through Revdex.com due to severe lack of response from Tough Mudder and the fact that I am unable to contact them because they will not supply a phone number or answer emails. I was send a response to my complaint from Tough Mudder on July [redacted] stating that I had 4 days to respond to them. I was unable to due to not having access to email or phone. They did not answer any of my questions from my complaint sent to them nor did they try to resolve any of the problems or offer a refund, they simply stated that even though they have a option on their website for a transfer it may not be open. I am still requesting a full refund and that this case be re opened. This has been dragging out since the middle of May 2015 and it is not the last day in July 2015.

The company says that they will handle it. I will believe it when I see it and I have checked the Eventbrite website to see if they have changed my ticket like I have requested (and as they imply they will do) and the ticket has not been changed. Normally I would give the company the benefit of the doubt but they have proven to me that they are unable to follow through on their customer service.

Tough Mudder's refund policy is explicit on both our website and at the time of purchase. We do not offer refunds under any circumstance. We offered the customer an opportunity to transfer to another event. Despite our best efforts the customer will not accept this offer and TM has provided every accommodation that we could.

This refund request has been escalated to EOS claims who will be handling this issue moving forward.

Tough Mudder's refund policy is explicit on both our website and at the time of purchase. We do not offer refunds under any circumstance. We offered the customer an opportunity to transfer to another event this year or next, and/or to another person and even agreed to waive our standard transfer fee. Despite our best efforts the customer will not accept this offer and Tough Mudder has provided every accommodation that we could.

This issue has been resolved.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved....

All the emails I did did nothing.  Once the Revdex.com got involved Tough Mudder replied to me emails within an hour or so.  Thank you

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved.  However, apparently you need to contact the Revdex.com in order to receive any response other than...

automated junk from TM.  I'm sincerely disappointed I was given the run-around from TM representatives and that it took over a month and a half to receive a refund I should have been issued that same day.  I'm assuming if I didn't have the diligence to keep a physical copy of the conversation between a TM representative and myself that I would have never been issued a refund at all.  BEWARE, keep all documentation of transactions/conversations so companies such as this will not push you aside and think they can get away with treating their consumers like cattle once payment clears.  I do however appreciate how quick TM was to refund me once the Revdex.com was contacted.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

I did not agree to the policies as I was not the one who registered myself. Someone registered me on my behalf. Had I been presented with the opportunity to view their policies this would have ended differently. Perhaps they shouldn't allow people to register for others.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

They...

are saying that my claim was denied  because I booked the event with a known injury history. However, I was not having issues with my medical issue at the time of booking and only recently have reaggravated the injury. I asked them to provide me with the information regarding where in their terms it specifically states that I could not claim a refund because of a known injury. They could not provide that information, which tells anyone with common sense that this is an invalid reason to deny a refund claim. They have redirected me back to the booking project team and have not resolved my issue.
