My original complaint wasn't about owing a parking ticket but about Data Ticket Inc's (DTI) intentional processing errors and having no way to resolve errors made on their part And for their unethical collection practices of lying to collect a debt.I did take care of this issue without the assistance of DTI who refused to assist me in any way to resolve the error that they made; I'm assuming that it's because the error was intentional on their part I was able to demonstrate to the City of Napa that DTI made an error which allowed me to resolve the matter at the original amount I was told by the DTI collector that my address was received from a forwarding information request to the post office which is impossible since there is no forwarding information from my street address The call was recorded and they can confirm this if they do a review They intentionally used the street address and not the mailing address provided by the DMV I have no doubt they got both my mailing and street address from the *** and they choose to use the street address to increase their revenue Once the amount was increased they updated my address and put a hold on my *** registration; unethical DTI statement in their response that they don't benefit from bail increases is vagrant misrepresentation In reviewing their agreement with The City of Napa that was obtained through a freedom of information request it clearly states that DTI's fees go from a fixed couple of dollars per citation to 23% (or $15) of the collected amount if they go to collections This directly contradicts their assertion that they don't benefit from bail increases and further shows their unethical business practices Visit www.dataticketinc.com to share your DTI experience

Until CA DMV sends the payment, which occurs on a monthly schedule, the citation cannot be update as paid The DMV must remit the revenue to the issuing agency through the Citation Processing Center Your issue appears to be with the structure under which CA DMV works We have no

I have pictures as well and I have receipts that show I did in fact have a student permit at the time the citation was issuedI would like to see these pictures take as I will provide mine as wellThey said to pay the citation and then file for an appeal but the problem is I am a student and $is not the kind of money I have laying around right nowI want this to be fixed and I don't think I should be paying for something that is a scam and wait for $to be refunded to me weeks later.show me the pictures! This citation was issued 5/18/by the City of Piedmont Both the citation and the notices sent (there were 2), discussed penalties and the time frame to pay the original fine The date on the check we received was 5/30/16, however the envelope,was postmarked 6/9/16, and penalties accrued and
were applied, as stated on the first notice, which was sent 5/26/16, at 12:am 6/10/ Clearly an envelope mailed on 6/9/from Oakland, CA, would not have been received in Newport Beach, CA on 6/9/ It was in fact received 6/13/16, days late.l Please see the attached scanned envelope postmark. We are oirry that you do not like the options which are provided according to CVC, unfortunately, there are no others available. As stated earlier, the issuing officer took photos of your expired permit, which was displayed ion your vehicle at the time the citation was issued. This was stated in your appeal dicision letter. Your right to appeal is provided by California Vehiclle Code and since you did not provide any proof with your original appeal, you must now pay the citation and provide your proof in a Hearing requested no late than October if you wish to contiue your appeal. if the total amount due was not received by that date, penalties would accrue according to the City of Bell's bail schedule The notice also included the amount of each late penalty and the date it would be applied Unfortunately Ms***'s payment was received 6/2/and was late, thereby incurring the first penalty as stated on the notice she received Ms*** called on 9/2/16, her call is recorded and as she mentioned, she was told that penalties accrued since her payment was received late Her only option now is to pay the remaining balance on her citation when she renews her registration according to CVC. ID - *** Mr*** did not send either a citation number or state plate for research, therefore there is nothing further that can be done for him All registered owner information is received directly from the state DMV and it is his responsibility to update the DMV when he sells
or otherwise removes a vehicle from responsibility. If he does not do that according to CVC, we have no way of tracking the transaction

ID - *** Without the citation number, we cannot research the specific citation, but there is NO charge to have the citation reviewed at the first level, so we assume that MrJones went through the initial appeal and the citation was upheld at which point if he wished to appeal again,
according to CVC he must pay the citation and appeal to an independent Hearing Examiner who will render an independent decision in the jurisdiction where the citation was issued. Apparently he did not do this
