Mr***, I researched your complaint and after speaking with the General Manager of Ira Toyota Tewksbury, *** ***, he said a check for $to refund you for the items not installed was sent out to you but not cashed yet. The remote start for $was installed on the vehicle
and unfortunately the other items were on backorder. Please let us know if you in fact did not receive the refund. A copy of the check is attached. Best regards,*** ***Market DirectorIra Motor Group

The Ira Motor Group apologizes for the lack of follow up from our employees. One of the issues is Mr*** is no longer with us. I have spoken to the customer and will resolve this issue for him

Our response has not changed. The work performed was done no where in the area of the failed blower motor. The customer has an older vehicle with high miles mechanical issues can occur. Our company has diagnosed the problem at no cost to the consumer

As you can tell from the tone of the response from IRA Toyota, they had no intention whatsoever of taking my complain seriously This condescending and rude approach was consistent with what I received from the Service Manager *** ***. Unfortunately I have no recourse for action I learned one of the oldest lessons in the book the hard way, Caveat Emptor or Buyer Beware. I purchased a *** at IRA Toyota with several years of maintenance and, I also had my *** Serviced there on numerous occasions with no problemsUnfortunately IRA Toyota is unwilling to own up to making a mistake on my *** and refund my $510, even though the work was obviously never completed and they are a multi-million dollar company. It is IRA's word vsthe word of a family run mechanic with star reviews on google, and has been in business for years and depends on word of mouth service I stood in the garage as the technician explained to me how none of the services supposedly performed by IRA were never done This garage lives and dies by the commitment to the consumer, unlike IRA Toyota. As IRA Toyota is unwilling to issue a refund, I will do my best to spread the message of unfair business practices, unscrupulous behavior, and threatening and unprofessional behavior by employees to anyone who will listen. We apologize that there is damage on the customers vehicle. We walk around every car when it is dropped off and if there is damage anywhere on the vehicle confirm it with the customer. If we make a mistake or damage a customers vehicle we own up to it and resolve the issue.This customer
took the vehicle and says he saw the damage on his vehicle that night but didn't bring it to our attention until two weeks later. That isn't logical.We would be happy to work with the customer on the repair of the vehicle

Mr*** stated the same repair "professional" will attempt to re-repair the repairs he did extremely poorly to begin with Mr*** told my husband that the repair "professional" did the best he could with the damage As I indicated to Mr*** on the telephone and follemail, I am not comfortable with having the same repair "professional" attempt to re-repair the damage from the airbag recall and the damage he did in attempting to repair that initial damage I can only attach four photos, so I am submitting the post-airbag damage photos and post-"repair" of the same areas By zooming in on the photos, you can clearly see that the repair "professional" that Mr*** would like us to have re-repair the damages, actually increased the area of damage during his so called "repair" Granted there is not a gaping 1" hole, but a four year old with silly putty could have done a better job and caused less damage I agreed to call Mr*** once we have the head gaskets repaired, but I stated on the phone, and in a follemail, that we are not comfortable with the same repair "professional" (whom Mr*** stated did his best to repair the damage) attempt to re-repair the damage he and IRA did to our vehicle The head gaskets are scheduled for repair in days, once repaired we will have a third party (non-IRA affiliated professional) take a look at the damage and provide an estimate for repair Regards,

I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response just simply resolves obtaining the check owed to the customer, though the business states that the monthy promotion error was just a "mistake" caused by human error it does not resolve the persistent mistakes that happened throughout the car buying/lease experience in reference to complaint #***I understand that by choosing to accept the business response that my complaint will be closed, as evidence to resolve the other unconcluded issues are not as easily closed due to the duration of time that the business needs to clean up its act! Adding that in complaint #*** the customer specifically asked for a hand written apology by the site manager which still has have yet to be recieve but now the customer will abandon any hope of recievingIt was appeartent that the business just wants the customer to go away and no evidence of correction will be madeUnless of course if action by the business was to happen to correct the fundamentals I would not know and that would be my "mistake"!

We want a refund of the uninstalled items amount back to the credit card with interest until said amount is credited. We had also requested some written explanations and proof that the items were even ordered and an apology for the lack of professionalism and incorrect information given to us regarding these products when clearly IRA was holding our money for items they never intended for us to receiveThese items were also not fulfilled at this time
