did not realize the Revdex.com was waiting on a response from me.  The business agreed to accept a return of the defective part they sold and refund the price. The refund has not been applied yet, and I doubt the returned part has been received yet. Obviously, I will still be out the shipping cost of returning the part if they will not refund that also. I would suggest that the file remain open until the refund is actually applied as promised.

I ordered parts here because the prices were good, but not too good to be true. I also ordered because they said they would ship same day (given a reasonable cut off time). 4 days later my parts have not shipped and every time I email to ask why I do not get an answer from Joe, Joe simply tells me to call Bud!?? I do not have time or want to call, I want an my question answered in an email it is not that complicated!? When will my parts ship? These guys are dodgey and I wish I'd done just a bit more research and read some reviews before making my purchase. I'm attempting to get a refund but I have a feeling this will not be a smooth process with them either and my car repair is further delayed because of their incompetence and dishonesty.

Review: On December 6, 2013, I placed an order for several auto parts from the website. I received a message that the order was not being authorized due to mismatching shipping and billing addresses. After speaking to [redacted] informing him that I am a college student and I keep my parent's address for anything official, such as bank accounts, my order was shipped on December 10. I received the parts and the mechanic realized that some were not needed, so I eventually decided to return the parts that weren't used. My original order consisted of a radiator, radiator cap, 2 control arms, 2 bushings, 3 belts, 2 sway bar kits, and 2 radiator hoses totaling $301.47 plus shipping. I ended up sending back 3 belts, 2 sway bar kits, and 2 bushings which cost $80.52. On January 7, 2014, I called the customer service line to see what steps needed to be taken to authorize my return because the online link was not working. I was told to just highlight the parts I was returning on the original invoice. I did so and shipped it the following day. There was confirmed delivery of my box on January 10 which was within the 30 day window in their policy. I called back on January 23 to see what was happening with my refund and spoke with Bill. He told me he would check into it. I also informed him that the card I used for my original payment method had been lost and that account closed, so I had a new card number to give him for the refund. On January 31, I sent an email with the tracking number of my shipment, copying [redacted] again inquiring about the status of my return and was told to call [redacted]. I spoke with her on February 3 and she told me she would look into it. I have been consistently ignored and lied to and I guess this is my last option at trying to resolve this issue.Desired Settlement: I would only like the refund of my money for the items that I returned.

This company is not being truthful. They have neither contacted me to issue a credit nor actually sent a dime. I have not received a check. I do not see a credit on my card statement. Although I have proof of the events that have occurred, they are not required to prove anything?

Review: I sent e-mails to Discountautoparts.com on 7Nov2014, 11Dec2014 and 8Feb2015 requesting the status

of a parts return, and I made phone calls to the company in mid-to-late February. I supplied

the USPS tracking information that showed that my return was received by Discountautoparts.com

on 12Nov2014, and I requested a refund for $168.89. To date, I'm still waiting for a refund.

I sent a final note to Discountautoparts.com on 13Apr2015 requesting action and told them

I'd be contacting the Revdex.com within 48 hours if they failed to respond. This is crazy!!! I have all

copies of my different e-mail attempts to resolve this directly with the company. They seem

to do better over the phone, but only marginally. And, since I'm with the US Forces in Germany,

LDX charges are high and Discountautoparts.com is not reimbursing me for my international toll

charges or excessive hold times....Desired Settlement: A simple refund is all I'm after...and an apology for jerking me around.

Technically Electrical parts and or Defective parts are EXCHANGEABLE ONLY, However I have issued credit for $84.26. Shipping is not refundable.

Review: In August of 2013 Discount Auto Parts delivered a part that did not fit my current vehicle. Once I found out by the dealer here in [redacted], I sent back the part within 30 days. After 30 days a refund was not produced so I called and talked with [redacted] and I was told the refund will be returned on my card. As of today, 13 September of 2014 I have not received a total payment of $146. I've sent numerous emails and yet no returned email. Review: I ordered a computer for my vehicle. Prior to ordering I called to confirm the 1 year warranty on the part and that they would refund the core charge once they received my part.

The part they sent turned out to be bad. They passed me off to the manufacturer for the warranty, who in turn said warranties have to be handled by the vendor that sold the part. Discount Auto Parts then had me purchase another unit for the warranty and said they would issue a refund when they got back the defective part.

The second computer was good and the defective part and my original core was sent back to them and I have been waiting on my refunds ever since. I have called them over a dozen times on the matter and sent them my request in writing with all dates invoice numbers like they asked, every time I've been told to either call back because one person or another was not in or that they would look into it. I've gotten no response to my emails or fax that they've requested. I've been trying to get my money back for almost 2 months now, more than enough time.Desired Settlement: I want the $54 core charge refunded for my original purchase and the $215.46 of my second "warranty exchange" purchase refunded.

I ordered my parts and received them in a timely manner. However one of the parts I ordered was the wrong one. Somehow during the ordering process the wrong part was selected. I don't know I'd this is my fault or the fault of the website but that us not my complaint. The return process is the worst. I tried e-mailing them and never had a reply. So I went ahead and shipped the part back using the info on their website. After I confirmed that the part was delivered through the postal service I waited a few days to receive a confirmation from the company. This never happened so I called them. They assured me they received the part, but I have not received my refund after there weeks. Overall I would say their customer service is the worst I have come across.

Review: I ordered a part from this company online three months ago. The delivery confirmation noted it would arrive within three to five days. It took twelve days for the part to arrive. After buying the part elsewhere in the interim, I called them to inform them I would be returning the part, I sent the part back and heard nothing for three months. I called regarding my refund and a woman named Kathy said I'd have it by the end of the week. Of course, the week passed and my refund had yet to be issued. I have yet to receive my refund for $87.82. Just for good measure, I called this morning regarding it, they told me they couldn't help me because the person that handles refunds wasn't in. I get the impression they're skilled at giving dissatisfied customers the runaround.Desired Settlement: All I want is my money back. They will never have to worry about me as a customer again.

Unfortunately DiscountAutoParts.com has no control over the [redacted] with there delivery times. Credit was issued to [redacted] for $57.85. I am rejecting this response because:

Irrespective of the date of delivery, upon the return of the part, NO effort was made to return my money even after I called. I was mislead on two separate occasions. Had I not inquired, the part would have been returned and I would not have had my money. Again, they made NO effort in over six weeks to refund ANY of my balance.

Review: I purchased 2 cabin filters PC4600 at 6.72 plus shipping in addition to other auto accessories. When the items arrived, I only received one of the two filters AND it was the wrong size. Since it did not fit my car, I emailed (approx date 4/10-12) their customer service (through their website link) and they emailed back and asked me to call them(4/12/15). When I called (4/13/15) I was told to mail it back and to buy it from a local auto parts company cause I ordered the wrong part. I did not order the wrong part, their website was incorrect that it fit my make/model/year.

When I reviewed the company's return policy it said that I needed an RA# to return it. Since it was also not my fault that I was shipped the wrong part I asked (via email 4/13/15) the company to send me an RA# and to send me a prepaid postage label so I could mail the part back. I also asked for a refund of the 2nd filter I never received. I never received a reply to my written email request.

I emailed again 5/6/15 to follow up on my 4/13/15 email. I received a very short email that said, "Did you mail the parts back?" This email was a completely separate email as if it were a new issue from the trail of emails that were sent back and forth and never acknowledged the issues I listed.Desired Settlement: 1. I expect a full refund of the 2 cabin filters and shipping that I paid for.

2. I expect if they want the one cabin filter they mailed to me, that they send me an RA# and a prepaid postage label that I can affix to the filter box as I am not at fault for them shipping me the wrong product.

3. I would like but don't expect an apology for horrible service and the time it's taking for them to own up to their error and not providing a product that is listed on their website.

Review: I placed my order on 5/3/14. They said that orders would be filled the same day if they received the order by noon that day EST. It is now 5/7/14 even though it has been authorized and received by Discount Auto Parts the part has not been shipped and no tracking of the package has appeared yet. I called customer support and was told that the part would be shipped out 5/6/14 the same day I talked to them. It has not been shipped out, scanned or even made ready for shipment as far as I can tell. Terrible service. They did not handle this purchase in the way that they advertised that it would be. I wish I had NOT bought anything from them and in the future I will NOT ever again. I could have used so many other vendors but since it said how quick the part would be processed I went with them. I would call again.but that seems senseless at this point. TERRIBLE service. I am surprised that they have such a high rating. They should NOT. I thought you should know. Their rating is not correct. The price they want is not competitive either. I should have bought it from someone else. I'm wondering now if I will ever get the part at all. Not to mention I have a car I cannot drive.Desired Settlement: I want the part I ordered delivered to me ASAP and no more lies about how it is being handled or when it will be shipped. Review: During the weekend, I placed an order for a car part that was listed as in-stock on the website of vendor and paid for overnight shipping that cost more than the product itself, with the understanding that it would be shipped an delivered within the time specified by the type of shipping. At the the start of the week, I was called by the owner of Discount Auto Parts while I was at work, and told that the part was not in-stock and as explicitly stated on the website and would need to be ordered from out-of-state, thus I would have to wait to receive it during the middle of the week - later than what I paid for. I did not receive a tracking number and when I tried to question the owner, I was cut-off, ignored and basically given the runaround. I sent an email directly to the owner and received no response, and spent a day in the dark. I waited and called the owner again after checking to see that I still didn't have a tracking number even though my order was confirmed. The owner was unnecessarily curt and rude, didn't allow me to speak, didn't answer many of my questions and hung up in my face after making excuses and not accounting for misrepresenting the status of a product on the company website from which I ordered. The amount I paid in shipping for overnight cost more than the actual product itself, and I only paid such an amount because I believed the product to be in-stock as listed. When I inquired about having a portion of my money refunded since the product would be late as per the company and not the delivery service, I was hung-up on essentially. I did not deserve to be treated in such a manner.Desired Settlement: I ask that a portion of the costs I paid in overnight shipping be adjusted to reflect the late shipping and delivery as per the company's misrepresentation of a product's status.

Review: On Wednesday, October 1, I ordered a door mirror from discountautoparts.com for $33.03. I needed the part right away, so I chose [redacted] Ground Express shipping for $28.06. The business failed to ship the product until the evening of Friday, October 3, which is when I needed the part. I still have no received the part, but apparently I will be receiving it today. I would have had help installing the part had I gotten it on Friday. Now I must pay additional money to get someone to help me install it.

I had to contact the business even to receive the tracking number, and [redacted] has been entirely unhelpful and has not attempted to make this situation right.Desired Settlement: I want a partial refund because I paid for expedited shipping that did not occur. It did not occur because the business took two days to ship my package.
