They screwed up my car, a/c worked 100% prior to coming in, their fault, and did NOT agree to any additional services, and I did NOT agree on a remanufactured engine, I told them I wanted to rebuild my engine block completely, total lies from this worthless company, the day I picked up my car, mesa police officers were there due to another customer getting the 100% run around, the next customers came in with same issues, the Attorney Generals office will be notified also in this matter, erik & mike are totally BS liares, AJ shisters at best, and today, my car is not running, $dollars later, you guys suck!!!!

Gave a time line to do repairs After job was started then call to try and add additional work and money stating if you do not do them your warranty will be void Continuous problems first day after car wars returnedAx wasn't charged when returned and they want &to charge it That was never mentioned at time of quoting job Overall horrible experience!

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Message from this business is complete liesI tried to get this engine for days [redacted] said he days to get the engine in I was supposed to pick it up on Dec but it was going to cost me to take off so the day before I called and asked if I could get the engine on Dec 26thThe engine was already supposed to be there and that is why I am filing a disputeI t is funny how they can’t even keep their lies straitThe letter to the Revdex.com says the engine is coming from out of state, but the letter to [redacted] states the engine is already inthat is why I have filed a dispute I was off on the and the engine was still not there so I was not able to pick it up.This contract should be void because they never followed through, and they have been nothing but dishonestFor week I tried to get that engine lined up to pick up on the 26th calling every dayThis was not a purchase yet because it was a completed transactionThe engine was never delivered, and this was only a depositAt this point we are very scared to use a business like this because of how they have constantly liedYou cannot charge a person’s charge card $and just hold their money for ransom. Please see the other documents I am sendingIt shows the reputation of this business and how we are not the first or the last if nothing is done about how they run a businessThis is a couple of many examples from the internetRegards, [redacted] ***

Its obvious he does not understand what warranty repair requires: Per warranty quid lines which he signed before work was performed and after work was complete, Warranty is with a outside vender, we follow there requirements .WARRANTY STATES;OIL CHANGE RECIEPTS - EVERY 3,MILES OR EVERY MONTHS WICH EVER COMES FIRST.This customer could not produces what was needed for warranty repair because he could not follow warranty quid lines Furthermore this company went above and beyond for the customer and begged vender to repair issues at no cost to him, after a few attempts we got a approval to repairSo who's the bad guy here? Our vender will not pay for labor only tearing down engine and going through it and repairing what is neededcustomer will be responsible for labor and fluids.I advise in the future this customer reed warranty guidelines and follow them or chances are there will be no coverage next time.Discount engine

I was told by [redacted] to take my vehicle in due to his son doing some work on my car, and his shop closed after I was given a warranty [redacted] told me he would do a free diagnostics on the vehicle and wouldn't charge me and to take it to a guy named ***So I did just that, and now here it is a month and a half later and several calls, and now they are holding my vehicle hostage for a $diagnostic feeAnd threatening to charge me $because of all the issues and I choose not to get the over priced work doneI feel this is unfair to me due to them stating one thing and doing the total opposite and holding my vehicle hostageAnd when I asked for the owners name and phone number a guy whom called himself [redacted] got on the phone and called me ignorant due to [redacted] stating that the diagnostics would be freeAll I want is my vehicle back without the feeThis is poor customer service to the highest pointPlease help

Holly molly!! I never knew businesses like this one existed!!! STAY AWAY from this shop!! So unethical, dishonest, rudest, and worse LIARS ever! [redacted] , owner/manager is a total jerk and loves to use his intimidating/ evil attitude to manipulate youDon't fall for it! Just stay away from these crooks and you'll be safe! They are SUPER expensive and will not do anything on your carI honestly don't know why they are still operating as a business

The customer was quoted for a used long block engine installedShe was explained in detail before installation during signing process that the used long block engines do not come with hoses, belts, mounts, tune up parts nor injectors was told that all her external parts would be used as long as they were reusable..(at no time did she tell us that additional parts were bad on her car.) Once the technician explained to the office that there were additional parts including dead battery that was needed the management called her and explained...first thing she said was I have no money and no job! and complained after talking with her for at least a half hr, per phone conversation she said she would barrow the money to go ahead and do the recommendations needed, and she would be in to sign off on it that same day...NEVER SHOWED UP, called her the next day she said she was busy but was coming in at lunch timeNEVER SHOWED UPhad my assistant call her and she lied to my assistant saying that she came by and I wasn't there. All along her car is on the lift and the mechanic is waiting to put it back together, tying up the bays for a week long.I finally contacted her on the phone and she said she was working that she declined all the recommendations and to just put the engine in car..I explained to her I was going to need a intake gasket and that she would have car problems and to be ready for itI also explained to her before we put car back together we would need a sign off on the parts she declined that we wouldn't be responsible for themShe showed up in the office complaining about parts and she had no money and was broke..I explained to her I was un able to get parts for freeshe didn't care still complained and was very unreasonable not understanding parts are not free after being lied to and played numerous times I couldn't trust her word ...Once documents were signed off I explained after contracted work was complete she would have to come pay and pick up the car, not to let it sit hereThe technician went to put coolant in her car and the rear cross over gaskets she declined were leaking coolant all over the ground, we couldn't even test run the carAlso the battery was so dead that we had to put a jump pack on it to turn the engine overkeep in mind this car has almost 200,miles on ithas been poorly maintained. As noted on final invoice she signed, upon start up found multiple issues including engine misfire do to tune up parts declined and water leakscould not test drive car customer took as is with dead battery. This customer likes to put the blame on the shop but in reality could not afford to fix her car the proper way, there will be no refund at this timeAll signed documents in file, including warranty guidelines and procedure packet

After stopping by the shop without an appointment to pick up their engine and refusing to return later, the customer submitted a credit card disputeBy this time the agreed upon engine was already purchased and shipped to the Discount Engine shopCustomer never called Discount Engine back after a few attempts letting them know the engine was inThe engine has now been shipped backPer the contract signed by the customer, Discount Engine has already processed a refund of $as there is a $restocking fee

As we explained to the customer it would be a few weeks before we could get the car on a lift and pull it.. as a courtesy I told him I would pay for the tow as towing is not covered under warranty. now he's submitting a BBB complaint.. Get real

On 10/8/14, *** checked his vehicle with the mechanic and drove it out of Discount Engine's lot with no issues He called us shortly after with some possible concernsDiscount Engine instructed him to bring back his S *** never brought it in or called back Now, a month
later, this is the first we are hearing from himIf there are any issues with any of the parts we installed, these are all covered by the warranty *** would only need to bring his vehicle in as instructed a month ago.If there was an oil leak at the time the vehicle left there would have been smoke and misfiringThis was not the caseOur mechanics have no reason to be in or to place any thing in the bed of the truckIf the vehicle came back to us in that condition, we would have cleaned it up regardless of why it was there. As for the vehicle taking extra long We had the engine completed on 9/22/ From 9/22/to 10/8/*** authorized us to fix other pre-existing items wrong with the vehicleThe long block we originally gave an estimate and time frame on was completed and in working condition by that point. If ***, would like us to warranty any of the parts Discount Engine put in his vehicle we would be happy to fix these items

Customer came in on the 9th to purchase an engine for his pt cruiserHe put down a $deposit, remaining balance of $Stated he would be on the 24th to pick up, as it was explained to him that this is coming from out of stateThis was a special itemCustomer signed the
contract on Friday the 12thCustomer called later and stated him and his wife changed their mind and wanted a refundIt was explained to the customer as this is a special engine no return can be permitted. In store credit only as contract statesCustomer called again a week later and stated that he will go ahead and buy the engineIt was explained that the engine would be ready on the 24thNext call was from the wife who stated they wanted a full refund or they would dispute the credit card charge. It was again explained that this is a no refund item The customer not wanting to purchase their own vehicle does not void the contract between us. Customer disputed credit card and the amount is already removed from Discount Engine’s accountThis is a breach of contract as there is a $restocking fee per the signed contract

I had a good chuckle reading Discount Engines responce which they made it sound like I have provided zero oil change reciepts. Here are the oil change reciepts also, oil change #was performed by Discount Engines at the mile check up at a cost of $laborA strange niose that the mechanic technition could not identify where it was coming from was also documented at the mile check up (6-17-Invioce) even though they did not look into it furtherAt 3,mile oil change intervals an Engine with 14,miles is four oil changes which I have doneEven Discount Engines own Documentation (4-6-Invoice) clearly states that the Timming chaing guides are broken which is clearly a defective parts/labor issueWith plastic debris in the oil pan it is only prudent to check the rest of the lower end for damage due to the loss of oil presure (documented also)I do not think that I am being unreasonable by wanting them to make it right and give me what I had payed them almost $6,to get in the first place, a reliable Engine that is going to last a long time On April durring a call from Discount Engines the man that called stated that his name was *** and he was the owner of the shopDurring our conversation he offered a solution of removing and returning only the engine for the repairs under the guise of saving me on the labor ( I saw right through that one, and Void the remainder of my warrany thanks but no thanks)The truck was returned later that day on April so that they can not try to say that they did not authorise another shop doing the repairs***'s conversation with me where he was telling me about the engine only return option and that he is still argueing with the vendor to also cover the labor costs was also documented on the April invoiceTo date I have identified three ways they have tried to get out of doing the repairs so far #require Nine oil changes (which my oil change tech laughed at), #piss me off enough to take it to a different shop and later claim they did not authorize the repairs as a reason to Void the warranty, and #offer the engine only return so they can claim they did not authorize the work to remove it and have a reason to Void the warrantyI have a better understanding of why people are complaining about this shop

customer brought vehicle to our facility in February of 2016, we where moving at a timely fashion of replacing the engine, customer then decided to do additional work resulting in over 3,dollars in repairscustomer did not have the money at the time and asked if he
could make monthly payments. Discount engine agreed to the monthly payments but also told customer that vehicle would not be started with additional repairs until paid in fullafter months of making payments customer paid of 98% of balance, his vehicle is next in line to be completedSince the time it took for him to fulfill final balance other vehicles have come to our shop in need of engine repairs, setting his vehicle behind and not first priority, we have had the customers vehicle here since February and we have not charged him any storage fee's and have worked with the customer on the payment plan we agreed uponcustomers vehicle is next in line to be completed, as I stated above the agreement was that he had to pay off balance first then we complete the vehicle repairs

The customer was aware of the terms of the warranty before the vehicle arrived at our location for the repairI have attached a signed estimate and invoice that explains the terms of the warrantyi have attached a copy of the signed invoice, and under description Ait states that towing, fluids
and shop supplies are not covered under the warranty. The lobor for the repairs have been covered by the warranty, and Discount Engine

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I thought that we had settled ths complaint with Discount Engine, however, we are now at the end f November and they have not refunded us the $700.00.The manager at Discount Engine mentioned in his response that we did not return calls from themThey have not never returned our calls and have not even provided us with proof that the engine was ever ordered or delivered to them.He wants to charge us a restocking fee, but how do we know he even ordered the engine? He also mentions that we showed up without an appointmentWhen we went to his shop to order the engine, we didn't need an appointment, why would we need an appointment to follow up on the status of our order? I have video of when we went into the shop and I will be more than happy to provide it to the Revdex.com if necessaryThe video shows us attempting to find out the status and we also mentioned to the girl at the desk that our calls have gone unansweredI left or messages for the manager to call either myself or my husband and no calls were returned. If Discount Engine can verify that ordered and received the engine then all I want back is the $700, however, if they can not provide verification that the engine was ordered then I want a full refund. My next step is to file in small claims court. This company is stealing from meI never disagreed that we ordered the engineThey told us it would be in within days and it never arrived and they have just decided to keep our money and pretend that we are the ones at faultWe are consumers who did what was right by placing a deposit for the merchandise.Regards,*** ***

No that's not was said, Customer DECLINED valve cover gaskets on a year old used engine (did not pay for new gaskets) Head gaskets were replaced at no cost to customer under warranty when a head gasket set is purchased the valve cover gaskets that come in the set are
generic, we used customers orig valve covers and explained after vehicle was up and running that either one of the valve covers was warped from heat and leaking or we recommended using a thicker gasket witch would have to be purchased separately from kit form. Customer needs to pay for the cover gaskets and or another valve cover that's not warped
