Dishman Dodge Ram Chrysler Jeep Reviews (66)

We understand Mrs
***’s frustration but there is a lot of risk in buying an inexpensive used
car with 121,milesThere was no mention of a transmission repair on the
purchase paperwork and no promise from Dishman to repair itIf this had come up
within a few days of the
purchase we may have been in a position to help but
unfortunately we are not in a position to assist almost a year after her
purchase

I spoke with Mr*** and explained we would look at his vehicle to see what was going onIf we find out that we created the issue then we would most definitely take care of the problem but if is not deemed to be a problem that came from our previous work then it would be upon him to pay
for the repairs and even then we would help him out with some pricing breaksHe agreed and brought his vehicle down on Saturday and I gave him one of our loaners to use so his wife would not have to go through any hot days without air conditioningOur plan is to try and start working on his vehicle tomorrow (6/6/17) and then let him know what we find

After repairing her vehicle on 8/13/MrsB*** picked up her vehicle and leftSometime after leaving Dishman her vehicle was damaged by some sort of road debris which damaged many pieces including her radiatorHer own insurance company confirmed this and told us to proceed with the repairs
and to call them for payment when the repair was completedOne of the pieces that was to be replaced was not available to us so it had to be orderedThis piece was never charged to anyone or paid for by her insurance companyIn fact we let her insurance repknow it was being ordered and he said that wasn't a problem and to just call for payment when the part comes inBefore we had a chance to get the part and call MrsB*** she called our G.Mto say that we damaged the radiator installing itHe asked her to bring the vehicle in so we could verify the damage and she responded that she will never bring her vehicle back in to us and that was the end of itThrough this process in hopes or retaining her future business
we were completely accommodating to MrsB*** in fact
we paid her $deductibleWe have been in business for over years and
we have a great reputation with the community for a reasonWe do not feel that
MrsB*** is owed anything other than us verifying the damaging she is
claiming but she has already said no to thatSo at this point we consider this
issue to be over with

We are sorry that the Jeep Liberty *** purchased has had continuous problems but unfortunately buying a pre-owned vehicle always comes with some riskAs you can see from the attached CarFax it shows the Jeep has no accidents reported, on August 17th of we took the Liberty in on trade, on
August 18th we did a safety inspection, changed the oil, replaced the wipers and some fusesOn August 24th we sold it to ***There was no bait and switch and every aspect of the transaction was disclosed to ***It was her choice not to pay a higher payment for a Grand Cherokee and to purchase the Liberty which had a payment that was more in her budget
After fulfilling our promises to *** and taking care of her deductible we have decided not to participate in any further repairs or deductibles

I apologize for the earlier confusion I was unaware that *** had not been spoken to about our offerMy body shop manager did speak with *** to explain everything to her since thenWe have taken care of the promised work and she did accept a check for $when she picked up the vehicle on the night of 12/6/We apologize for any inconveniences

Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because:
I did not get to say what I wanted to say on why I rejected Dishman Dodges responseThe guy told me that I was sabotaged up in the woods and with the difficulty of taking all the bolts off of my differential would not of happened out in the woodsSecond he also told me that this had happened to an other vehical before and they did not make it down the road miles and they had to tow it back to the shopAnd when my wife dropped off the invoice that he asked for so he could see about getting me some money he told my wife the same story so this has happened before at this place so he is not telling the truth againAnd last the front axles on a four wheel drive truck free wheel until you engage the transfer case to start turning the gears in the diferentialSo all of the things this guy has wrote is not true.Sincerely,*** ***

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID *** and have determined that this does not resolve my complaintFor your reference, I have attached are only some of the work orders for the services rendered including the most recent eventDue to file size, I will need send a separate email with the remaining pages of documentationThis Jeep has not been stable or reliable since purchaseThe initial problems began within a week of purchase, and the Jeep has not lasted more than months without servicingI asked for a repurchase immediately and was told that was not an optionI was promised all issues would be resolved while still under the original warranty, and that did not happen - even though Dishman had my Jeep at their disposal for over a month in totality and promised their "master technicians" were servicing my vehicle. Dishman paid for only one deductible, for an issue that they had "claimed" to have resolved but had notI've paid for several deductibles for issues that Dishman "claimed" to had fixed under the original warranty. I contacted the Attorney General of WAThey confirmed that the only reason my Jeep does not qualify as a lemon is that a claim can only be filed within months of the original manufacture date, and my Jeep is a modelOtherwise, the incidents are indicative of a lemon. The initial contact should be void due to bait and switchMy email inquiry to Dishman and my visit to Dishman was for a Grand Cherokee, which I was told was out of my price rangeI pay $each month for this JeepI have confirmed that this is NOT outside of the price range for a Grand Cherokee - which indicates I was misled to purchase the Liberty Renegade. What Dishman is trying to get away with is criminalI was disgustingly deceived into purchasing defective product which can be clearly seen by the service documents. This situation has caused financial and emotional hardship. For all these reasons and many more, I do not and will not accept this insulting response.

Dishman is sorry for any inconveniences Mrs*** may have had with her sales experience hereWe always strive for a great customer experience and if we fall short we always do our best to make it rightIn this case we attempted to help in the repair of the vehicle on multiple occasionsAs far as
us breaking through the paint on the hood I am not aware of anyone here that had seen this issue before it was repaired somewhere else but would still like to helpDishman would be willing to pay for half of the repair for a total of $as a good faith gestureThis is the most we would be willing to participate but if this is acceptable we will mail a check to her as soon as we receive a response stating soOnce again we are sorry for any aggravation and we hope we are able to earn her business back in the future. Sincerely, Shane S*** Customer Service Manager Dishman Dodge-Chrysler-Jeep Phone - (509) 924-Fax - (509) 777-

I repeat: In March I bought a Chevy Malibu and paid cash of $6000.00.My son *** *** took me to Dishman Dodge since they bought two cars from them and we're happy. My son and I took the Malbu for a test drive While my son was driving and we came to a stop sign When starting to go forward after he stopped the car jerked stayed still for several seconds then finally shifted into gear We asked *** *** the salesman who was with us what was that and *** *** said " don't worry it was nothing and added it's not warmed up yet." But as I said before that when I drive it, it does the jerk and several seconds shifts into gear when it is warmed up and not when cold I also said I was almost rear-ended several times when it happened My son is in North Dakota now and I moved to Spokane in February so I did not know anyone else in Spokane who could help me to know what to do I baught the car after returning from traveling Europe for 1/years when my husband died in January He left me enough money to buy furniture and pay for my car I now live on my SS only and could not afford to pay to have it looked at My new boyfriend was the one who said it is the transmission and since *** *** told me the car was okay and not to worry about it I need to have Dishman Dodge fix the problem since they sold it to me that way and said nothing was wrong We took it back to Dishman Dodge the manager " said after talking to the boss they would only be willing to send it to the transmission shop they use to fix it and ask them to give me a discount." (That tells me they admit to selling it to me that way) I said no way was I paying anything for them to fix it The manager said his boss told him " he did not believe *** *** would tell me not to worry about it and that the car was okay and don't worry while we were test driving the car My boyfriend asked the manager "was his boss calling her a liar and he did not appreciate that and she is years old and did not know what to do about the problem" That is why I waited so long because I was finally told what to do All I want is the problem fixed since Dishman Dodge sold it to me that way and are brushing it off as nothing And if they can't fix it take the car back and give me my money

Dishman's response is the same as the first two times we responded to this issueThere are many risks in buying an older high mileage vehicle and this is why we always offer an extended warranty at the time of purchaseWe are sorry the vehicle is having issues but there was no agreement that Dishman would cover any future repairsSo in the end Dishman will not be participating in any repairs

Nancy L*** brought her vehicle in on 7/27/because she stated that the check engine light is on and it dies when it gets to hotShe also said that she had the crank sensor done somewhere else so that wouldn't need to be done (attached is a copy of the repair order which she signed stating
that the crank sensor was done at a different shop)We diagnosed her vehicle as having a stored code (P0431) for a faulty cam sensor that needed to be replacedWe replaced that sensor, cleared the code and test drove the vehicle and the check engine light did not come back onShe picked the vehicle up later and the vehicle did stall out on the road so we paid for her vehicle to be towed back to the shopHer vehicle is one that we only have one tech that is Chrysler certified to work on and with his heavy work load we were doing our best to diagnose her vehicleWhen we got it back in the shop we found a crank sensor code so when we told Nancy that she then had her vehicle towed back to the shop that did the crank sensor and they evidently found that the problem was loose wires connected to the crankshaft sensorThe problem with her vehicle was for faulty wires on a part that we never worked on or even touched in fact we were told that the faulty part was done at a different shopSo it sounds like her issue should be with the other shop the installed the crank sensor and not us. In the end we are not liable for another shops mishap and we are willing to incur the cost of the tow we paid for and the labor time that we were not liable for (invoice attached)
