We had the ***’s bring their vehicle back in to us on 9/11/so we could recheck the vehicle and fix the issueWe also put them into a rental vehicle so they would not be without transportationUpon further investigation we found that the WCM was causing the problem so we replaced the part
at no cost to themOn the previous visit to our service center on 8/28/we did find that their battery tested bad and did need to be replaced and they did have to pay for that because the vehicle was out of standard warranty but unfortunately it does appear that the service writer did give them a general quote for the battery instead of the exact costSo we will be refunding them the difference of $in a check that we will mail to them ASAPWe are truly sorry for and inconveniences they may have incurred and we hope that we will be able to earn their business back in the future. After speaking with my G.Mwe called [redacted] and let her know that we will take care of $more of her deductible (for a total of $that we have paid), check the alignment of the vehicle again, replace the air box and look into a couple other issues she is having with the vehicleWe
always try to strive to make our customers happy and when they are not we will always do what we can to make them happyWe are truly sorry for any inconveniences and hope that this issue can be resolved professionally and in a timely manner

We opened a repair order to look and [redacted]? vehicle with an engine temp concernWe lifted the vehicle in the air and realized that it was packed with mud everywhere including the radiator and motorIt appeared at this point that the engine overheat was not due to faulty parts but due to the
driverAt this point we called our local Chrysler rep to come and look at this vehicle before we move forwardThis is standard procedure because we as a dealer are liable for the cost of the repairs if Chrysler deems it not to be a warranty issueAfter looking at it the rep determined it was absolutely not due to a part failure and denied the claimAt this point Dishman has nothing to do with the repair anymore and if [redacted] wants to explore this further he needs to take it up with Chrysler which was explained to him on multiple occasionsThere are laws set up to protect dealers in a situation like this so at this point Dishman will not be participation in any future repairs regarding this issue and will not be participating with any sort of compensation.?

Dishman is sorry for any inconveniences Mrs[redacted] may have had with her sales experience hereWe always strive for a great customer experience and if we fall short we always do our best to make it rightIn this case we attempted to help in the repair of the vehicle on multiple occasionsAs far as
us breaking through the paint on the hood I am not aware of anyone here that had seen this issue before it was repaired somewhere else but would still like to helpDishman would be willing to pay for half of the repair for a total of $as a good faith gestureThis is the most we would be willing to participate but if this is acceptable we will mail a check to her as soon as we receive a response stating soOnce again we are sorry for any aggravation and we hope we are able to earn her business back in the future.? ? ? Complaint: [redacted]
I am upset because yes I did accept the 400 and we did take our car back.... But the very next day the light is out again. I am not dealing woth this company again.I am rejecting this response because:Sincerely,[redacted]

After repairing her vehicle on 8/13/15 Mrs. B[redacted] picked up her vehicle and left. Sometime after leaving Dishman her vehicle was damaged by some sort of road debris which damaged many pieces including her radiator. Her own insurance company confirmed this and told us to proceed with the repairs...

and to call them for payment when the repair was completed. One of the pieces that was to be replaced was not available to us so it had to be ordered. This piece was never charged to anyone or paid for by her insurance company. In fact we let her insurance rep. know it was being ordered and he said that wasn't a problem and to just call for payment when the part comes in. Before we had a chance to get the part and call Mrs. B[redacted] she called our G.M. to say that we damaged the radiator installing it. He asked her to bring the vehicle in so we could verify the damage and she responded that she will never bring her vehicle back in to us and that was the end of it. Through this process in hopes or retaining her future business
we were completely accommodating to Mrs. B[redacted] in fact
we paid her $300.00 deductible. We have been in business for over 60 years and
we have a great reputation with the community for a reason. We do not feel that
Mrs. B[redacted] is owed anything other than us verifying the damaging she is
claiming but she has already said no to that. So at this point we consider this
issue to be over with.

?
We are truly sorry that Ms[redacted] is have trouble with the vehicle but I have to reiterate ? there is a lot of risk in buying an inexpensive used
car with a 121,milesThere was no mention of a transmission repair on the
purchase paperwork and no promise from Dishman to repair it

We are sorry that the Jeep Liberty [redacted] purchased has had continuous problems but unfortunately buying a pre-owned vehicle always comes with some risk. As you can see from the attached CarFax it shows the Jeep has no accidents reported, on August 17th of 2014 we took the Liberty in on trade, on August 18th we did a safety inspection, changed the oil, replaced the wipers and some fuses. On August 24tgh we sold it to [redacted]. There was no bait and switch and every aspect of the transaction was disclosed to [redacted]. It was here choice not to pay a higher payment for a Grand Cherokee and to purchase the Liberty which had a payment that was more in her budget.
After fulfilling our promises to [redacted] and taking care of her deductible we have decided not to participate in any further repairs or deductibles.

? ? ? ? ? First of all we want to say that we feel bad for what happened to Mr[redacted]"s vehicle, we never want a customer of ours to have these issuesUnfortunately though there are many things about Mr[redacted]'s statement that are not factualWe have explained them to Mr
[redacted] multiple times but I will explain them again so we are all on the same page
? ? ? ? He came in for an oil change on 7/29/and claims that while we were performing the oil change one of our lube techs went to an area of his vehicle that has nothing to do with an oil change and proceed to drain his differentialThe problem with this is that the differential is not drained that easy because there isn't a plug you take out to drain the differential there is only a plug for checking the fluid levelPulling the differential plug will not drain it at all in fact you have to get an airgun and proceed to take off different bolts in order to drain the fluid (attachment of differential plate above)This is not a likely scenario at all seeing that this has never happened before and the amount of work needed to do this is beyond fathomable that a lube tech would accidentally do this without knowing
? ? ? ? ? The most important thing that is not factual is that the front differential only spins in wheel driveAny qualified technician would know that every Dodge straight or solid axle differential that comes from the factory is constantly spinning when the wheels are movingWe have run a service department for over years here and? we have multiple year master technicians who know these vehicles better than any independent shop mechanic would who will tell you that Mr[redacted] and his mechanic are incorrectAll Mr[redacted] has to do is take his vehicle back to his mechanic, lift the vehicle in the air, remove the differential plate and then manually spin the tires and they will see exactly what we are talking aboutFinally there is no way that a vehicle without differential fluid will make it more that to miles before it is destroyed let alone over two months and a thousand miles like Mr[redacted]s went before getting destroyed
? ? ? ? ? So in the end the facts show that there is no way at all the Dishman has any liability in this unfortunate situation and we will not be reimbursing Mr[redacted] for any repairs

Revdex.com,I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and have determined that this does not resolve my complaintFor your reference, I have attached are only some of the work orders for the services rendered including the most recent eventDue to file size, I will need send a separate email with the remaining pages of documentationThis Jeep has not been stable or reliable since purchaseThe initial problems began within a week of purchase, and the Jeep has not lasted more than months without servicingI asked for a repurchase immediately and was told that was not an optionI was promised all issues would be resolved while still under the original warranty, and that did not happen - even though Dishman had my Jeep at their disposal for over a month in totality and promised their "master technicians" were servicing my vehicle.? Dishman paid for only one deductible, for an issue that they had "claimed" to have resolved but had notI've paid for several deductibles for issues that Dishman "claimed" to had fixed under the original warranty.? I contacted the Attorney General of WAThey confirmed that the only reason my Jeep does not qualify as a lemon is that a claim can only be filed within months of the original manufacture date, and my Jeep is a modelOtherwise, the incidents are indicative of a lemon.? The initial contact should be void due to bait and switchMy email inquiry to Dishman and my visit to Dishman was for a Grand Cherokee, which I was told was out of my price rangeI pay $each month for this JeepI have confirmed that this is NOT outside of the price range for a Grand Cherokee - which indicates I was misled to purchase the Liberty Renegade.? What Dishman is trying to get away with is criminalI was disgustingly deceived into purchasing defective product which can be clearly seen by the service documents.? This situation has caused financial and emotional hardship.? For all these reasons and many more, I do not and will not accept this insulting response.? Regards,[redacted]?

Sincerely,

After receiving this notice we spoke with the salesman (Sean G[redacted]) about what had transpired. He said that even though there was not a key promised in the car deal or on the we owe that he had attempted multiple times to get another key made for Mrs. [redacted] at no cost to her. Since there...

wasn't a spare key put into the car deal and after being told the cost of a spare key he was informed that we would not be able to make that happen. Since then we were able to secure a new key at a reasonable cost and have decided that we will in fact cover the cost of the key and the programming of the key.
At this point we have not been successful in getting in touch with Mrs. [redacted] to let her know. We have sent an email to the address attached to the complaint without any response and when we try to call the number attached it just rings without any voicemail options. We have ordered the key from a company in Seattle and when it comes in I will try and contact Mrs. [redacted] again to let her know. At that time she will have to pick of the key from us and take it to a specialty shop here in town to have it programmed.
We apologize for any inconveniences and hope that Dishman and Sean will be Mr. and Mrs. [redacted]s dealership and salesman of choice in the future. If there are any questions please contact me at the number below.

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the response. If no reason is received, your complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved]
Revdex.com,
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I still have an issue with the fact that [redacted] the salesman knew that the 2004 Chevy Malibu Jerked and several seconds after started moving again from stopping at a stop sign.  When we were test driving the car and he brushed it off as nothing.  Instead of saying we will have that checked out before you leave the lot if you decide to buy it.  And yes I know now I waited to long to take it back for Dishman Dodge to fix it.  But I really did not know what to do until my new boy friend told me what to do.  My deceased common law husband always dealt with things like that and bought our cars.  I feel like I was taken advantage of,  I stand by my complaint.  And I feel like the boss at Dishman Dodge called me a liar.Thank You,[redacted]

We are truly sorry that Ms. [redacted] is have trouble with the vehicle but I have to reiterate  there is a lot of risk in buying an inexpensive used
car with a 121,000 miles. There was no mention of a transmission repair on the
purchase paperwork and no promise from Dishman to repair it.

First of all we want to say that we feel bad for what happened to Mr. [redacted]"s vehicle, we never want a customer of ours to have these issues. Unfortunately though there are many things about Mr. [redacted]'s statement that are not factual. We have explained them to Mr....

[redacted] multiple times but I will explain them again so we are all on the same page.
He came in for an oil change on 7/29/16 and claims that while we were performing the oil change one of our lube techs went to an area of his vehicle that has nothing to do with an oil change and proceed to drain his differential. The problem with this is that the differential is not drained that easy because there isn't a plug you take out to drain the differential there is only a plug for checking the fluid level. Pulling the differential plug will not drain it at all in fact you have to get an airgun and proceed to take off 12 different bolts in order to drain the fluid (attachment of differential plate above). This is not a likely scenario at all seeing that this has never happened before and the amount of work needed to do this is beyond fathomable that a lube tech would accidentally do this without knowing.
The most important thing that is not factual is that the front differential only spins in 4 wheel drive. Any qualified technician would know that every Dodge straight or solid axle differential that comes from the factory is constantly spinning when the wheels are moving. We have run a service department for over 50 years here and we have multiple 20 year master technicians who know these vehicles better than any independent shop mechanic would who will tell you that Mr. [redacted] and his mechanic are incorrect. All Mr. [redacted] has to do is take his vehicle back to his mechanic, lift the vehicle in the air, remove the differential plate and then manually spin the tires and they will see exactly what we are talking about. Finally there is no way that a vehicle without differential fluid will make it more that 10 to 15 miles before it is destroyed let alone over two months and a thousand miles like Mr. [redacted]s went before getting destroyed.
So in the end the facts show that there is no way at all the Dishman has any liability in this unfortunate situation and we will not be reimbursing Mr. [redacted] for any repairs.

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because they never paid 200 of my deductible as stated in the first place and also never discussed with us paying another 300. I have already paid my deductible in its entirety. I expect more than a 300 dollar refund. I will settle for 450.00 in a refund check....half of what I paid.Sincerely,[redacted]
