On Wednesday, April 6, the Pink Plumber came to our home to give us a quote for an emergency installation of a water heaterJesse Miller came into our home, assessed the situation, and provided us with a quote for the replacementWe had received other quotes for other vendorsBut, it was the attention to detail and customer service that made us move forward with the Pink PlumberWithin a matter of minutes of making the decision to go with the Pink Plumber, Jesse started working and completed the job in time for us to give our toddler a hot bathThe service was phenomenal!! And Jesse was super awesome to work withWe need more technicians like him and more businesses like the Pink Plumber
Our service person was Brian F* and he was very professionalI do not think anybody else in the company could have handled our plumbing problemFor years our toilet has worked sporadically when we flushed itSometimes it was great but most of the time it was notHe found a build up of calcium in the water flow in the bottom of the tankHe removed it and now we have a great flush each timeMaybe if the company is nice to him he might share the knowledge with other service personal and should be rewarded
John *** from Pink Plumber came out to our home on a Saturday late afternoon (after hours really) to install a sink in our 1/BA I have to say that John's work is exceptional Pink Plumber is lucky to have John on their team Very happy
I called the Pink Plumber this morning at 9:00am with the need for my septic tank to be pumped I expressed that this was an emergency as my toilets and showers/tubs were not draining
After a short explaination of the cost schedule she informed me that my appointment time would be from 2:00pm to 6:00pm
At 5:00pm I received a call from their dispatch and was told that they, dispatch, "just decided to call and check on their technicians"
and have found out that they have no technicians available to service my tank and that they would "try" to get me on the schedule for tomorrow
If I call for an "emergency" repair and you take the job, do NOT call me at 5:00pm, when I cannot line up another plumber, and tell me that you cannot hold up your side of the bargain
This is piss poor customer service and now my family may not have working plumbing tonight because of The Pink Plumber's failure to keep their house in order
I will not use nor will I recommend this company to anyone, in fact I will encourage family and friends to steer clear
I had nothing but a very bad experience with this companyI told them what was causing my toilet to baand they did not properly repair itI had to have them come back out a few weeks later for the same problem and they did repair it for the same problem I told them the first timeThey kept telling me that someone was coming, three days later someone showed upThen they charged me againThey take great pride in their customer service and it was the worst everI have since read simular reviews about them; sure wish I had seen before using them

SHOP AROUND, I'm sure you'll find a better price Probably a MUCH better price We had a kids' toilet plugged up I've unclogged many toilets in my 30-odd years of adulthood, but I couldn't get this one So it was time to call in a plumber I've heard the radio ads and seen billboards for The Pink Plumber, so I called them first Was quoted a $service call fee, "but if you have service done that will be waived." Great, I'm thinking maybe $75, certainly $tops, so I didn't even ask for an estimate MY MISTAKE Bradley (nice enough guy) gets here, looks at it, "let me work you up a quote", shows me $cents on his tablet ONE HUNDRED EIGHTY FIVE DOLLARS for what he himself admitted would probably be a 10-minute job "But that includes the $45," he helpfully added Well duh! Now everyone needs to earn a living, I understand that, and Bradley offered that this is a big company with staff and facilities and equipment, and I added, "and advertising." Fine, so let the $go to overhead It's miles from their location in Smyrna to my house, so $for gas (round-trip) for the big Mercedes van he was driving minutes driving time, so let $go to his driving time round-trip ($an hour just to drive) Here for minutes, and some of that was just admin time, but let's go ahead pay him $an hour for the whole time (that's a $100,per year job, btw), so $goes to that
So all-in: + + + =
So where does the unaccounted-for $go? I'm thinking it goes to a greedy company
So honestly I don't *know* how much a different plumber would've charged, but I gotta think it would've been less than a hundred dollars And I feel dumb because we have a home warranty so I could've paid just that $deductible out of pocket, but sometimes scheduling service through them takes a few days and I wanted to get this taken care of sooner than later But I almost gave Bradley the $service call fee and called the home warranty people; I would've been $ahead had I done that
Full disclosure: setting up the appointment was an easy phone call, I chose an 8-morning window the next day, and just as they promised they called ahead of time and told me that Bradley would be here in about an hour They even sent an email with a picture of Bradley and a short bio; that was a nice touch And he showed up about when they said he would, and was very professional
In summary, if you decide to use them I'd get an estimate over the phone, but after reading some of the other reviews about up-selling I don't know that that would mean much
These guys were fantastic Greg the technician was nice, professional, and took pride in his job He is a homeowner too and understands that while a necessity it is in fortunate that they have to tear up the yard He took extra time to make the yard perfectly level for re-seeding I also felt fully informed about what they were doing and why
Although it took a while for the plumber to arrive, we were very happy with the service providedDavid Fowler was professional, friendly, and very knowledgable (he explained what he was doing as he was working on our system)We will definitely use The Pink Plumber again when we next need a plumber

David *** came to my home today to fix some plumbing issuesHe was on time, friendly and took a lot of time assessing what needed to be done He worked very hard and did a terrific job..I will certainly use him again

We were needing to convert from our failing septic system to sanitary sewer We called several companies for quotes Jim Franitza showed up for the Pink Plumber and was the only company that came out knowing where the tap was He gave us several options on how we could go to sanitary Ultimately, we had Jim do the work We had them convert the whole house from cast iron to PVC, install a new hot water heater, and do the conversion The Dekalb County inspector said we hire the best guy for the job and had no issues with any of the work The work was done really well and very efficiently I would definitely recommend Jim to anyone needing plumbing work done
Dale Fwith Pink Plumber listened to my problem; explained the solution with words and photos Dale purchased the parts, fixed my problems, explained again what he did, and gave me advice about how long to wait before using the shower; and not to use chemicals in the toilet tank
Dale was very nice and respectful
We just had service completed by Brian *** - The Pink Plumber Brain was very professional and friendly - he explained the problem, showed us the quote and upon acceptance, resolved the problem quickly and efficiently I will not hesitate to call THe PP and Brian for any future plumbing needs
The office staff was also very helpful and polite Christina followas promised and we had the problem resolved the same day
I had a busted water pipe, The pink Plumber sent out Jack R[redacted], The service he provided was very professional and informative, I did not feel pressured into anything extra that I didn't need I would highly recommend The Pink Plumber.
