I made a purchase at *** online expecting a cash back amount via Dosh. The purchase did NOT fall into any exclusions in fine print. I’ve been emailing for updates for a month now. The typical email response I get it automated:
We are currently experiencing a slight delay in response times, but rest assured that someone will get back to you as soon as possible!
The 2 replies I finally get state the following (which NOTHING below would exclude my purchase from cash back!). I’ve emailed back stating my purchase does not relate to ANYTHING in the clause below. I also have asked they respond as to the exact reason my purchase doesn’t qualify and I simply get no reply.
After further review, it appears that the order made below does not qualify for cash back. *** cash back is not valid on: - orders placed using coupons, promo codes, or discounts - purchase of gift cards, e-gift cards, tires, cell phones & plans, Pick Up In Store items; Candy; Health and Beauty Aids; -Pet Supplies; Laundry and Home Care; OTC; Snacks; Paper Goods; Coffee, Breakfast, Pasta; Oil, Rice, Fruits, Vegetables; Frozen foods; Sides and condiments; Baking and spices; Seasonal foods; Soda; Produce and floral; Snacks, or any merchandise / service listed under Services and Auctions sections within *** - On *** Pharmacy - On orders made on *** - If an order is cancelled, returned, or exchanged We're very sorry for the inconvenience this has caused.
Worst customer service ever!

I made multiple purchases over the coarse of two years using the Dosh app that rewards you cash back for your purchase at selected business. I logged out of my account and was unable to log back in losing the $89 I had occurred overtime. I reached out several times to Dosh to request access to my account and the response is If there is an account associated with *** you will receive an email with a link to reset your password. I have yet to receive an email after three attempts yet I have receipts of purchases dating from 7/8/2019.

On March 6, 2020, Dosh Customer Support emailed you letting you know we need to process a phone number change. It appears that you've created a new account with your new phone number, which explains why your account balance is at $0.00. Your original account with your previous number has your earnings on it that you've earned since July of 2019. Once we process your phone number change, you will be able to access these funds by logging in with your new number. I booked a hotel stay through the Dosh app. I was to receive $20 bonus and $18.63 in rewards. I completed my hotel stay (which Dosh over charged me for). Dosh has since canceled my $38.63 due to a “cancellation of my reservation”. I have my hotel receipt where I clearly completed my stay. I have reached out twice through email and no one has contacted me in over 48 hours.

I've tried contacting Doch several times with no success. I completed steps as required to cash out my account I've don't cashback online and in-store I can't transfer my cash in my account I can't get help from anyone it seems like a big *** scam

I have tried to change my bank card/information in Dosh for three months. I am unable to. Additionally, none of the purchases I make get logged into the account. I've been contacting Dosh since June 2019, and I keep getting the same "We are currently experiencing a slight delay in response times, but rest assured that someone will get back to you as soon as possible!" message. Initially, I was told (via email) to delete the app and re-download it; I did that...several times to no avail. And then, after I kept pursuing via email, I've been ignored.

refused to provide credit to my account. Customer service verified my referrals information and still never provided me credits. Scam!

January 16, 2019, purchase of Sam's Club Membership with American Express Credit listed on dosh app for $20 cash rebate still has not credited to my account despite submitting a ticket to Dosh app support while others already have the amount credited to the account.

I am rejecting this response because the credit should already be given as I have attached the American Express card to my account and all other cashback were processed with the American Express card instead of filing complaints.

Took an extremely long time (over a month) to respond to my support ticket. This was frustrating, then they accused me of fraud! What a sham

False advertising
Dosh ran a promotion where for every friend you referred, you would receive $15 once they linked their debit card after you made your first qualifying purchase. I referred 3 people and made 2 qualifying purchases at two different merchants. I didn't receive the cash back from either of the merchants nor does it show on the transactions as pending. Therefore Dosh won't allow me to transfer the referral money I received into my checking account. I have submitted 3 work tickets over a week ago and the only response I received was a generic email stating that the ticket was received but they're experiencing a heavy influx of emails. Meanwhile I have money available in my Dosh wallet that I can't access. To make matters worse, they don't have a customer service number to speak to anyone directly.

We are sorry for the length of time it took us to respond. Credit cards and debit cards are both able to be linked to Dosh accounts. However, in order to get cash back when you redeem a Dosh offer, we recommend that you swipe your debit card as a credit card (instead of using your PIN #) so that you will receive DOSHrewards automatically. If you complete the transaction as debit and use your PIN, as you did at Pizza Hut and Jack in the Box, we must issue rewards to you manually, which takes longer.

To date, you have been paid $1.06 for your purchase at Pizza Hut, $0.43 for your purchase at Jack in the Box, and bonuses for referring three people to Dosh. You have also successfully redeemed funds from your Dosh account. As such, we believe your concerns have been addressed. We hope you will continue to take advantage of the great cash back rewards you can receive every day from Dosh merchants!

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

I have contacted Dosh numerous times about a few good sized purchases in which I am owed cash back. The purchases were at Walmart in early dec in which I am owed 5% back for an approximate 70.00 purchase as well as a hallmark purchase on Dec 21 for 50.00 in which I am owed 10% back. Their customer service is awful as I have reached out to them at least three times for each issue and have yet to receive a response

We hope you will continue to take advantage of the great cash back rewards you can receive every day from Dosh merchants!

It has been 7 business day and I still haven’t recieved my last two payments from Dosh.

We joined DOSH and reading their information saying we could receive a cash rebate of $20 if we joined SAMsClub here in Pearl City, Hawaii. We joined, paying more than $47 and only received only $3.77 credit. It looks like it is just one more SCAM. If you have problems expect to find you can not contact them. They give a Support address but email is returned.

on August 17th, 2018 I was contacted by a DOSH employee on social media who was a running a promotion to get people to try out the new finance app. He replied, verbatim: "Download my app and help a black business man out! Sign up, Add a card, Reply 'Done' for $300 on CashApp." I have picture and email evidence that will further support my argument. I did as instructed and started receiving several emails a day from DOSH; ones that were unsolicited spam that I did not subscribe to. In addition, after downloading DOSH in the Apple store, and enrolling and adding my card, the app crashed and no longer functions properly on my iPhone. I have tried deleting the app and downloading it again, but every time I open the app, I get an error message. I have contacted the employee via the social media account he first contacted me from and have not gotten a response. I also sent an email to the DOSH customer support seeking resolution, to no avail. I am now escalating this matter to the Revdex.com because it's ridiculous that I have to go to this extent to have someone show some concern for the empty promises they are making to consumers and handle it with integrity.

My dosh account has been suspended without any reason for half an year. In the beginning, I was informed my registered phone number is not U.S cellular. But my phone number indeed is a US carrier number. I replied customer service but nobody response to me later. Then my account was suspended due to fraudulent activity. I submitted tons of ticket to ask for a review of my account and never got a reply.

Your account was flagged as suspicious because of the high amount of returns generated on your account. In addition, it looks like you are finding a way to have your credit card pre-authorized to get your cash back, but then not actually completing the purchase. Since both of these activities are against our Terms of Service (https://www.dosh.cash/terms-of-service) and not in the spirit of Dosh, we have blocked your account from our network.

I love reward programs, I've had many accounts with different ones, but I've never had such an issue closing any accounts until DOSH. I had to email them to request they terminate my account, but they gave me such a hard time about it, they wouldn't actually comply for another few emails. I had to email the (nearly non-responsive) customer service back & forth a few times for over a week for them to finally agree to terminate my account, but it wouldn't be completely terminated for another 2 weeks. &, no, they won't email me a confirmation of the termination, I have to ask them in 2 weeks if my account is officially terminated.

I was supposed to receive 5% cash back for my purchase at Sam's Club but did not receive it. When I went to the support area on the app to file a complaint on my phone and the website it was not available. I spent $100 at Sam's Club and did not receive 5% cash back. I also spent $25.00 at Forever 21 and only received 0.86 cents. I was not able to contact them directly to complain about this.

Dosh does have a process that allows for Dosh users to contact our support team and submit tickets electronically.

We have reviewed your Dosh account and transaction history. You did make a purchase at Forever 21 on 9/10/18 for $17.19. Accordingly, your Dosh account was credited $0.86 for this transaction (which is a 5% cash back advertised). Additionally, you also received $10 cash back bonus since it was your first transaction at Forever 21.

We do not find any transactions for you at Sam’s Club in our system. However, giving cash back to our users is what we love to do, and we have a process for working with customers who are missing cash back. You may either submit a ticket with your receipt information via the Dosh app, or you can email our Support team directly at [email protected]. At Sam’s Club, the most common reason someone does not receive their cash back is because their transaction was run through the debit card networks. However, we can still get you your cash back with a receipt or copy of your bank statement showing the Sam’s Club transaction.

We look forward to hearing from you and getting you cash back you from your purchase at Sam’s Club!

This is the worst app I have ever used in my life! Nothing but problems trying to get your money from offers. The very first time I used it had to complain & they issued me my cash back due to a GLITCH! Well this seems to be their motto....WE HAVE GLITCHES...but let me tell you it's a constant issue. After linking my credit card & never getting anything back for months I removed app & added a Sams Club Mastercard. AGAIN nothing but problems due to their CONSTANT GLITCHES!!! This app is so not worth the hassle. STAY AWAY!

My Dosh account was temporary suspended. So I opened ticket to ask Dosh. Someone replied in email that my account was shut down with no explanation and all cash in my account have been forfeited. They also shut down other 3 accounts among my family and friends. So we lost about hard earned $800 in total.

I absolutely love Dosh, it's been a huge help when we need extra cash to take care of our family. The support team has always been kind and helpful anytime that I've needed to contact them. I've been able to make over $500 with this handy little app, and I'll always recommend it to friends and others! Thank you Dosh!

Some people are impatient, that is why you see so many negative reviews. I went through and read most of them and they had to do with "not getting paid", at first I too was one of those angry people however its not like the money is going to show up in the blink of an eye. I earned $300.00 in referrals with dosh within two weeks. It sometimes took the money a little while to show up on my account but you can bet I got paid for every single person that I referred. I also have gotten cash back from getting gas and EXXON gas stations. I LOVE DOSH and the fact that even when I don't mean to or think about it I have money that is being saved for me even if its slowly collected its still there. GET DOSH
