I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
Complaint Type:Delivery IssuesselectProblem:I had items damaged while in the care of this company. I was working with [redacted] for the claims process. I email him the list and photos, directly to him as requested, on 23 June 2016. I haven't heard anything from him and it is well over the 90 day policy. I have emailed him(the emails no longer go through), I have called and do not get an answer, and none of my voicemails are being returned.Translate Desired Resolution / OutcomeDesired Resolution:ReplacementselectDesired Outcome:I want the payment for the items that were broken/damaged, that I submitted a claim for.Translate
Regards,
[redacted]

On 9/03/2015 we moved the client from ** - **.  After the delivery the client did complained about damages but we yet to receive any pictures of damages for their claim. Without out pictures we cannot process a claim through the insurance.

Our initial quote explained most of the issues here. It did explained that "cost is based on actual cubic ft, packing materials and services needed". There was a change in volume and inventory which caused the initial increase of cost. Furthermore it did explain that we do take a deposit to hold the...

spot as well as other payment policies. It also did explain that if a shuttle is needed at delivery there would be an additional charge. If we cannot get a 53 ft semi, this service is NEEDED. It is not a service that we prefer to go through , just to charge the client, as implied. This service is more labor, etc which is not preferred, but is mandatory if the location at delivery is physically impossible to accommodate 53 ft trucks. Client did not want to pay this charge so we offloaded in an option that would avoid this, but is not the most professional option (on the clients own truck). In regards to the tip, I explained this was optional and not mandatory, but is customary. As this is optional, it is not in our paperwork. If the client felt the driver was pushy about this, I recommended that she informed me, and as a result she did not have to do this. I believe her request is unreasonable, especially because there was an apparent difference between the inventory that was noted at the estimate and that of the actual, which made these charges valid.

Regarding Ms [redacted] , we gladly have tried to make arrangements with her for her to come pick up her Things .  Over a month ago she set a day with us and never showed up . Since then we have tried to get in contact with her by phone and her phone has not worked . How can we arrange a time for her to come by if she won't answer us and has "changed " her phone number ? I will follow up by email with her as well today . Hopefully this helps .Sincerely [redacted]

The client submitted the pictures on May 16th 2016,  the pictures were submitted to the insurance claim in the month of May , she was told that it can take up to 90 day before a settlement is made. The client was told several time that she will be notify once her claim is settled. It has not...

been 90 days since the claim was submitted.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I will be satisfied with getting the proper compensation for our damaged and lost property however, I do not agree with the company that I in anyway was made aware by the company prior to the move that they would not cover our lost or stolen handguns and ammunition. I looked back through the forms that I signed that were provided by the company and there is no mention of handguns or ammunition at all. I have also attached screenshots of emails that I sent to the Efficient Transportation email that was supplied to the Revdex.com during this complaint to show that I have tried to present them with damages that we sustained from the company moving us from San Diego, California to [redacted]. I will again for the fourth time send an email to Efficient Transportation with my list of damaged and lost property so that they will compensate me for my lost.

An over the phone ESTIMATE of $1051.20 was given  to the customer based on the inventory provided and on day of the move the final price based on the space  was $1179 a difference of $127.80. Items were picked up on 12/27/15 as requested and delivery was made on 12/31/2015 as requested ,...

customer requested an afternoon delivery window, however  there is no guarantee time for delivery. In reference to the two items that was not delivered on 12/31/2015, we did explained to the customer that it will take some before delivery and also it was delayed because we were experienced weather issues which is beyond our control. The contract clearly stated the payment methods on both pickup and delivery and the client was fully aware of that, since it was emailed to her several time.

The client recieved an in person estimate at which time I explained that we would like to be as accurate as possible and noted an inventory list . I explained to the client that final cost is based on the space taking up on the truck . I also putThis in writing on the estimate . Day of the move the...

driver indicated to the client that the total volume was more . The client was given the opportunity to take only the requested cubic feet at the same price or cancel the job altogether . Client agreed and signed on the new amount . Client did not want to leave anything behind but indicated he needed more time to pay soWe gave him thirty days free storage . We delivered promptly . We did try toWorkWith the client in several ways .

My wife and I sold our home and decided to move to [redacted], we called around and got some quotes from different movers, (we should've went with [redacted], they quoted us $4500.00 including packing. My wife was dealing with [redacted] A. From Efficient Transportation and he quoted us $2800.00, so you can...

imagine the shock my wife and I were in when the foreman, who wreaked of marijuana Told us the bill was going to be $7800.00, we immediately called [redacted], who said not to worry, that he would work something out. (He wouldn't answer our calls anymore) when our furniture arrived, many boxes were crushed and we noticed that the two boxes tagged video games (our stupidity) were both cut open and to our surprise, we found some discs missing from the original covers. Two lamps were damaged and my inversion table was destroyed.  I am warning anyone I doing business with this company to run the other way.. I am not one to complain, but I also don't like being taken advantage of, especially when they knew I was disabled.  They totally take advantage of female customers and the disabled, they yes you to death, until they have your belongings on their truck.. Anyone considering using this sm of a company, should email me first at [redacted], email me your number and I will call you. My brother and his family are also moving to [redacted] as well as my Cousin, who will not be using scaminefficient . They claim there headquarters are in San Diego  California.  I strongly believe in karma. [redacted] A. Embrace yourself, I don't know how you can sleep at night, then again judging from the people you hire, I'm sure you go to sleep feeling just mighty fine and on cloud nine.  I will admit that my wife and I never called after all of the damages, but we just felt they wouldn't do anything about it anyway. My wife and I are willing to speak with anyone considering using them, don't be a sucker like we were. Contact me at [redacted] and I will call you to give you all of the details over the phone. [redacted] & [redacted]Www.etransportationinc.com[redacted]Efficient transportation[redacted]Us Dot: 2413823

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
[Efficient Transportation business representative, [redacted], drew up a contract that was sent via email and offered a $300 discount from the full price, however the driver threatened to take my belongings hostage and not deliver because a $75 fee was not charged for each flight of stairs.  Out of the $300 discount,(going against the contract as promised) $150 was paid to the driver (in cash) in order for him to bring my belongs up three flights of stairs. After paying the $150 cash, the driver then unloaded his truck, put my belongings on the sidewalk and continue to argue that he would not bring my items upstairs unless the full $300 was paid in full.  I showed him the contract in which was sent from Efficient Transportation by [redacted] and he continued to refuse to bring my belongings upstairs to the apartment. I then told the driver that I was going to call the police to settle the matter.  I had called Efficient Transportation and so did the driver to resolve the matter as it was happening; unbeknownst to myself and the driver Efficient Transportation was closed on the weekends.  Both the driver and I were unsuccessful in reaching someone to resolve the matter. The first delivery happened on a Saturday, Aug. 9, 2014. Regarding the insurance claim, $300 was offered to cover for the broken and damaged items. I did not turn down the settlement. I was not satisfied with that amount, therefore I asked to speak to a manager. [redacted] said the manager was not available and as soon as the manager was available, she would have the manager contact me. I am still waiting to hear from the manager. I did not agree with the $300 coverage because I owned a $400 sewing table in which the driver never delivered.  Also after carefully reviewing the items delivered, I still have 24 boxes missing that were recorded on the inventory list.  $300 does not cover my missing table, 24 missing boxes, damaged and broken items.  I had asked to speak to a manager regarding the amount, my missing table, and missing items; and again the situation has yet to be resolved. I am still waiting to hear from the manager to settle damages, broken and missing items. I don't understand why [redacted] continues to overlook my missing table when the driver admitted to me that he recalled seeing my table at the storage warehouse.  I am willing to settle for the $300 in damaged and broken items as well as the  $400 to cover for the loss or theft of my table, in which was never delivered to me and the $150 dollars that the driver went against on the contract and charged me.  This amount does not include items among the missing 24 boxes. An email was sent to [redacted] regarding a list of items that are missing among the 24 boxes. Therefore, I will settle for a total amount of $850 for missing table, damaged and broken items. An email was sent to [redacted] with pictures of the broken items as well as a list of missing items among the 24 boxes. Should I have to resolve this matter in small claims court I will add the value of the missing items among the 24 boxes as well as all legal fees to file for a case; therefore, exceeding the $850 in coverage that I will settle for.]

[The document signed both by me and [redacted] said nothing about my price being subject to his taking a correct inventory.  He errors in inventory are of his consequence, not mine. The document we both signed says BINDING ESTIMATE in big red letters at the top and a price of $3,750 at the bottom. After that, nothing else matters. I'm assuming this is how they work their scam. Not a single item was added to my home between the estimate and loading date. The facts are that they gave me a BINDING ESTIMATE and then did not honor it, causing me to spend in excess of $2,700 to fix their error or scam. ]

No my problem has not been solve. I haven't heard from Efficient Movers aka Efficient Transportation. They still have my property and refuse to get it to me. I do have my cancel cashiers check where they cash it under Efficient Movers not Efficient Transportation. That's fraud. And I had to change my phone number because [redacted], [redacted] and [redacted] the one who came and pick up my property has been threaten me to kill me. I been trying to find my property and they won't tell me where it's at so that I can come and get it myself. I am scared for my life. All I want to do is come and get it my property. Tell me what to do.

The estimate of $1051 was given to the client on 12/18/15 and her belongings were picked up on 12/27/15.  Even if items were removed from the list ,  as stated before price is based on space taken up. The deliver was not guarantee to be there on 12/31/15 between 2-5 pm , the client requested for 12/31/15 and the delivery was made on that date , she was also told that the driver will contact her a day before to confirm delivery time, which he did. Again as stated before the items that was left behind , it was explained to the client that it will take some time before delivery is made and as far as payment on delivery the client had to options Cash or Postal money order as stated in the contract. ( Please see attached  file for the copy of the bill of lading  showing the window for delivery, a copy of the sign over the phone estimate, copy  of inventory  and also a copy of the payment methods ).

I booked this move three weeks in advance.  I was called on the weekend with less than 48 hrs. notice and told by a dispatcher that they were canceling my move because of certification issues.  The woman who called me said they would find a company to make the move on their behalf.  I tried all weekend to contact someone at the company with no luck.  I was told by the operator several times that I would get a call back but never did.  I finally reached someone on Monday and was told that they "might" be able to get someone out there on 2/2.  At this point my lease was up and I needed to be out of my apartment.  This did not leave me enough time to book another company for a cross country move.  I had to hire a short distance moving company and put everything in storage.  Everything is still in storage and I have been unable to locate another company to accommodate the move at the same price.

The client contract us to move her from [redacted] , she did stated that she has about 6000 lbs based on the previous company who moved her to storage. We explained to the client that we don't go by weight and we will need the items she is moving because we price by CF (cubic feet) she did explained that...

she's been in storage for over 7 months and she didn't remember exactly what she had in storage.  The sales person did explained to her that an inventory is needed and that when she gave a list of what she remembered.  On the day of pickup the client had more items than what was listed on the inventory she gave over the phone. Some items were repack because the plastic containers had no covers and some of the items were loose items that needed to be packed. The estimate changed because there were more items (Which the client clearly couldn't remember what she had in her  storage unit) and the cubic feet increased.  The client was fully aware of the increase inventory and the price change.

As stated before delivery is not guarantee delivery date, there is a window for delivery and the client fails to understand that there is a window.  The client has a claim in process for damages, it takes 30- 90 days for settlement , once it's settled we will update the customer.

Efficient transportation Inc headquarters is located at 501 West Broadway San Diego CA 92101 and the local branch is located at 626 Rxr Plaza Uniondale NY 11556.  The client did received his shipment in 2 different parts on two different dates because there were some mistakes made while...

they were loading his shipment for delivery and we at Efficient Transportation did apologize for the mistake  and for the inconveniences we did give the client a discount . We don't make promises , we work by our contract.  The contract clearly states that the delivery window is 15-45 days and the client didn't not pay for an exclusive truck so therefore , his belongs were loaded with other client items that was put onto another truck not a third party.  The client  claimed he had missing boxes and some damages , he was asks to send pictures of the damages and make a list of the missing items, which was needed to process an insurance  claim. The insurance claim was process and there was a settlement based on .60cent per pound  for $300 , the client denied the settlement.

The client was never promised a delivery date of October 1st. The customer items were picked up on 9/30/2015 and was given an estimated delivery window of 3-7 days from the date requested for delivery and a guarantee delivery window of 15-45 days.  Please see attached file for sign contract...

showing guarantee delivery window.
