Called engine and transmission center last week, my waive was having a problem with her transmission, we got the car in for them to look at it, and figured out the problem and had it fixed the next day. Honest and fast service, great to deal wit.
I purchased a reman transaxle from the engine and transmission center and they made me feel like I was their only customer.The service was great and their problem solving skills excede most of what I have ever experienced.I had a rare trans (only made 2 model years)so a core had to be found,then built.There were also trucking issues(not all companies act like professionals)but they were able to solve all of them and make me a very satisfied customer.Well done.I rate their service excellent. I couldn't believe how fast they were in delivering the transmission. I ordered it at 2:18PM on a Monday. On Tuesday I requested a tracking number. When I went online to track it, was already delivered at the auto mechanic! Picking up the core was just as fast. I would definitely recommend Street Smart Transmission!
My Buick had been acting up: Temperature gauge was erratic and the transmission would occasionally shift too harshly. The transmission did have a minor issue but the main culprit was the main computer. They replaced the computer, a couple of sensors that the computer showed as defective and went through the transmission.
The temperature gauge is now rock-steady and the transmission shifts like new. They even replaced a sensor that they hadn't bothered to tell me about to solve another rather annoying issue with the ABS.
I have trusted my vehicles to Engine and Transmission Center for the last 5 years and I am completely happy to recommend them.
