Fly-By-Night
A "company" that advertises under a different name, provides no means of direct communication with an identified person by telephone, regular mail or email. The manufacturer and packager of the Cozytrike (Cozytrikes.com) is based in Asia, US shipping (Mobility.com) comes out of Wallingford, CT, but the merchandising HQ in Cummington, MA apparently consists of Gabor Smatko and 1 or 2 others out of a dilapidated house. A brief email exchange with a non-identified person gave contradictory and absurd answers. Certified letter to Mobility.com was refused and returned. Trike's motor would not start; instructions consisted of fuzzy unordered photos, captioned in barely decipherable English. The situation was reported to the BBB, FTC, and MA Attorney General; also filed a lawsuit. A huge consumption of time and sorely wracked nerves, plus $1995.51 probably unrecoverable. Scammer Smatko should be jailed for fraud.

I purchased a Cozybike LE electric bike from this company in I'm a disable senior with mobility issues and needed this bike to get around townI have recently needed a replacement front fork/shock absorber for the bikeI ordered it through their web site's parts catalog along with submitting my checking acct information(They won't accept credit cards.) That should have been my first clue that something wasn't right about this companyI never received any confirmation of the order, or tracking number (as promised) and after business days my bank has not been submitted a request for the funds(they said 3-business days were required to receive payment from my bank) I've sent them multiple e-mails with no response, and tried repeatedly to contact them by phoneIt always goes to a voice mail systemI leave messages and they never return my callsAs I cannot find out who actually manufactures the bike, Epizon is my only outlet for parts as Epizon is nothing more than a marketing company, they don't manufacture any of the products they sellIt seems this is a very unprofessional and unreliable, and to say the least, very shady company to do business withI would not recommend you do business with this companyIt appears I may have to alter my current fork to make it safe, but it will no longer work as a shock absorber which will make the ride very harsh

Terrible customer service. Claim they are in Springfield, MA but deliveries come out of a CT depot. Packaged in China NOT touched in the USA. I paid extra for extended warranty, power booster etc. NO warranty paperwork and now after traveling 21 miles on flat service my battery is out and IT WILL NOT CHARGE AT ALL.

This company takes advantage of senior citizens. I put on layaway a mobility scooter in August 2018. There after I read a review that they continue to remove funds from your account even after cancellation. Well I can testify this to be true. I canceled an order several days of layaway to find them unresponsive. After several attempts through email, phone message and text they then canceled order but already took 300 dollars out of my checking account. After numerous attempts to request refunds they have refused. Buyer beware.

Epizontech doesn't send invoice to the customer to show additional charges before getting paidInternet site is showing shipping is included in parts price and when you order - they charge additionalNot the way to run business

Epizontech has some products I haven't seen elsewqwhere, including the heavy duty scooter I bought This is the good part On the negative side is their customer service, including their website, and product manual They could easily furnish exact, clear, non-contradictory, accessible information, but they don't It's very impersonal and sometimes misleading Although I have reached customer service, more often than not, it has not been reachable

Because of extensive foot surgery, I can't use a regular bike any longerI'm very happy with this trikeIt peddles much easier than a regular bikeWe live in the mountains so even the parks have elevation variationsIf the hill is too steep, I just use the motorWe camp and travel a lot, and I'm about to take it on our first tripI can bike around the campground with my husband, etcI put a pillow in the back basket, so our small dogs can ride with meThe low cross-through and smaller tires makes it easy to get on and offWhen a friend saw my trike, she ordered one alsoShe really likes hers too
We needed some help with the mirror and the company addressed the issue immediatelyGreat job!

And 1/months after my purchase they took $out of my checking account, without my permission or knowledge, for a "lift gate" charge I gave them my information for the actual purchase in october the purchase included free delivery they used a check number that is numbers past the checks I am currently using I have filed a fraud complaint with bank of america and put a freeze on my account they don't answer their phones to talk to anyone so I will put it in a review they probably have a way to delete it I will now have to change my checking account number and all of the automatic in and outs will need to be notified I have had this account for years and this is very upsetting due to their fraudulent actions

I purchase a cozy trike for my mother. I had the impression that there would be no assemble required, so I had it shipped direct to her. The assemble instructions were very hard to understand and the pictures not clear. We never did get the front fender to fit on. It seems like the "shock" was not holding the front of the trike off the wheel far enough to get it on. The company email answer to the problem was to "bend the fender supports". As for the speed of the trike, it seems to be full out of nothing. So be sure and have your hand on the brake. They never did answer as to whether there was a way to regulate the speed. The wheel base on the back is a little to narrow to give assurance that it will not tip over.

Hello at Epizontech!

We want to thank everyone who was involved with the order and shipment of our two Cosybike Scooters.

A week ago we received our 2 electric bikes. They arrived on a pallet holding two individual boxes. These boxes did not show any abnormal damage and we could immediately release the delivery driver.

When the boxes were opened, we could not believe the care and protection that was implemented for the save shipment of this sensitive merchandise. There was such a custom steel frame build around the bike which not only prevented any kind of possible impacts the shipment could be exposed to, but also made absolutely certain that the bike itself remains securely in its optimum shipping position. There were special brackets welded to the steel frame to secure the position of the handle bars, the front wheel fork and the rear motor wheel assembly. What an incredible job you people have done with the creation of this costly steel frame!

Did anybody go overboard with this? Certainly not. The bikes definitely deserved it. Not only did we get wonderful and unblemished machines but the mechanical and electrical performance was the next big surprise for us. Wow, do they work! And all the many features we did not even expected and tried one after another; everything works perfectly. Just wonderful!

Looking back, the entire purchase procedure has been a pleasant experience and we would like to thank everyone of you for that. Looking forward is even better. Without creating noise or pollution, we will have incredible fun, youthful joy and freedom with these bikes for years to come!

Thank you!
Lutz and Helga Bengner

We will be submitting more updates on these bikes shortly...

I purchased this trike based on the reviews along with my common sense . It arrived quickly and it's great! It rides perfectly. I'm a 76 with a back problem that keeps me from riding a regular bike. This was the PERFECT answer for me. I can ride with the kids and Hubby without any problems and without worrying about hurting my back while balancing a regular bike. The basket is great! You can fit a lot of stuff in it for a long bike ride (water, food, kites! A small sized dog could easily ride in the basket too!).
There was just a few items to assemble. Most of the bike was pre-assembled, which surprised me. I have tried other trikes but this one is the best.
One other point: It looks COOL! It has that awesome look with a new twist.
Stop the research! Treat yourself, get healthier, get the trike, and cruise in Style! :) A++++

So far I have nothing good to say about the company except that delivery was on time.
Customer service communication is almost a impossibility. They're restructuring n repairing replacing parts are out rages. I will update when the problem has resolved.

My first trip was a spectacular success. My 71 year old husband was proud that he folded up my new wheelchair and loaded it into my car, and drove me to visit my own school. I'm on disability leave after being out sick (with cryptogenic organizing pneumonia) since last winter. My chair unloaded easily, handled the pitted, uneven front driveway of my school easily, went in and out of the elevator, traversed classrooms and offices, tracked smoothly through the long halls and navigated the space between the tables and lab benches in C-5.

I think it proved I can return to work even in a wheelchair, and look good doing it. The crisp, elegant engineering are actually important to me, because they contribute to my credibility with other science teachers. My good old friends were glad to see me looking so together in it.

I was worried about how to carry my oxygen concentrator, but an inexpensive Drive walker basket snaps right onto the bar in back.
I'm happy with the wider seat and more powerful motors, which were perfectly synchronized. The footrest is comfortable enough for me, but I understand why some people say they wish it stuck out more. It accommodates flexible positions, including a modified Royal Ease when you're parked and lift the arm. I find it easy to get in and out of, but my main limitation is hypoxia and weakness, not orthopedic. Comparing it to the Jazzy chair I rented in Orlando, I greatly prefer this one for myself. If your positions are more limited, or you're going to have to live in the chair for extended times, you might want a big cushy one instead.

Delivery from Malaysia was like lightning, phone and email communication was clear, prompt, and lucid. My husband had one problem setting it up for me because he misinterpreted the free-wheel switch, and the motor won't operate in that mode. My email question got a quick and accurate diagnosis, but in the meantime he had broken down and read the simple manual Foldawheel88 had emailed, and figured it out himself.

We took it to my medical appointments at BIDMC and it whisked me through the long skyways connecting the buildings, pivoted on a dime in the elevators, waited sedately in line to sign in, pulled right up to the lung function machine, and mercifully got me into the rest rooms without assistance. It is actually more maneuverable than a push chair.

Today I went for a "walk" with my husband. We live on a hill with a steep driveway, and the sidewalks have issues in places, so it took some courage. You can't always go straight down on a slope, and the most challenging situations were driveways that cut through the sidewalk in steep areas, so I was tilted sideways a little. It helps that the chair can easily cut across a grassy corner the stay on the level. We went a half mile and had coffee at an outside table next door to our bank. I could do that on my own. The trip back, uphill, was actually easier.

If you're sitting here longing for this, I think it is probably the right choice for you. I'm glad I went for it, anyway.

Next year we will go to Africa and will definitely take our chair with us for our journey.

I also ordered an electric scooter from the company and it works very well too.

Of course, you need to charge the battery once a while but it is very easy and cost almost nothing.

If you have any questions just ask me and I will try to answer it for you.

Do not hesitate to order it - that is all I can say.

First of all, I purchased this on here for $2149 in July of 2017, and it's now listed for $2349. That's a pretty massive jump in cost, but I'm reviewing the scooter for what I myself paid at the time, which I felt was great value.

Anyway, it's pretty great. As another wise reviewer on here noted, it's difficult to review scooters because it depends what you need it to do/compensate for, but this one worked wonderfully. In terms of driving/handling, it's very adequate for any store (the three-wheel version will give the ability to make tighter turns), and if there's anything you should know in advance with emphasis it's that there aren't any shocks.

As for assembly and its ease of being transported, it's exactly as advertised. Very comfortably fit in my trunk, and the only thing that took some getting used to was the reassembly of the two main base pieces. That's the only part that feels other than foolproof and maybe even a little trying at first. But all in all, this scooter did exactly what I needed it to do, and I felt it was a tremendous buy at the price. Now that it's priced what it is, you'll have to determine whether it's worth that much.

I think that once you know how easy it is to charge the battery, you will not have any problem because it is really simple.

First, I was sceptical ordering from this company because I have never dealt with them. I saw some negative reviews so I contacted the company and they sent me the documents showing that they came from their competitors. No wonder why some other firms are so scared of them since they have the best deals around.
It is quite understandable that some people think that factories will answer their calls on holidays or the weekends but you have to grow up to get it that they are not wal-mart. Nor I want them to be. If you want a cheap service and a shady product than go to wal-mart. Do you think they know anything about what they sell?

Epizontech on the other hand knows everything about these scooters and trikes because I sent them my email and they replied back within 24 hours!

I also checked their parts and since they make their products, they have all the parts inventory so I will not have to worry about it in the future.

The only complaint I have is that I wanted to sell their scooters but they rejected me because I have no experience in custumer service.

One more thing, I will have to admit this Scooter is more ruggedly built than my gogo scooter bought .

Finally, you cannot go wrong with this scooter and the back-up from the company!

I can recommend it to anybody who needs mobility and if you are on a tight budget you must get it as long as they have the free shipping promotions.

I am sorry to be in such a hurry but my wife wanted to write this review.
. She received her electric tricycle but she forgot to order the special charger so she called the company and they sent her one because as they said we are special customers. I don't feel any entitalement or something but this was a good gesture and we are in love with the trike. she had already put over 120 miles on it and uses it in rain and snow. takes the dogs for a walk every other day.takes the dogs for a walk every other day.
Make sure to charge the battery once a while as you need to k now that it does come with its own charger at no cost but my lady also wanted the special one in case we do not use it while on our 3-4 months vacation in Florida.
I realized that you need to adjust the seat to your height and make sure to have air in the tires but it is quite normal I think.
The large basket is jut marvelous to use it for the dogs, they love it so much. Thank you very much.
I also wanted to say that the company sent me a thank you letter. I am very pleased with their service. my neighbor bought a scooter and he likes it too very much.

I ordered my electric scooter from epizontech for Christmas and needless to say, I placed my order in the last moment.
The company did everything to get my scooter on time, they coordinate the entire shipment for my elderly father, and was very helpful with all of his inquiries.
(and he had a lot!)
The scooter arrived very well packed on a pallet. Tested it and it works just perfect. My father is now a happy camper!
