We confirmed, through the payment history that the information...

provided to Ms. [redacted] regarding the loan account being delinquent was correct, did not find any payments posted as unapplied, and provided a copy of the loan history as confirmation. The late payments caused the late reporting to the credit bureau. Our client has agreed to remove the late reporting once the member pays the account current.

I disagree with what equiant submitted. In October, nov, and December  we pd per kings creek with Tom W[redacted] who said there was zero balance owed, three total payments each time. They were still misapplied by equiant.

of the services offered to our client Surrey Vacation Resort / Capital Resorts Club.On 12/23/15, 3/4/2016, 3/28/16, and 6/29/16 Equiant received a request from Surrey Vacation Resort / Capital Resorts Club to advance the loan due date for Mr. [redacted]’s loan. A copy of the account history is included to confirm the adjustments. However, the request did not include removal of negative credit bureau reporting. Equiant apologizes for any inconvenience the negative reporting has cause Mr. [redacted] and has made appropriate adjustments to correct the errors. A letter has been mailed to Mr.[redacted] to confirm the adjustments (which is also included).Should Mr. [redacted] have any further questions he can contact our offices at [redacted].

However, I would suggest the company not disable the ability to cancel the automatic payments, which would have allowed me to fix the problem myself, as well as fix their contact us tab so they can be made aware of these issues without taking these actions.

reporting as one of the services offered to our client Surrey Vacation Resort / Capital Resorts Group. Equiant did not take over ownership. Your loan account is still with the original creditor.   On February 16th, 2017 Equiant received notification from Surrey Vacation Resort / Capital Resorts Group to place Mr. [redacted]’s loan in a hold status. However, the notification did not direct Equiant to cancel the membership nor remove the negative credit bureau reporting. To date Equiant has not received authorization to cancel the membership. As the third-party servicing platform, Equiant is not a party to, or has any ability to cancel memberships. Surrey Vacation Resort / Capital Resorts Group alone retains that authority and can be reached at [redacted] or [redacted] for further assistance.   Equiant apologizes for any inconvenience the negative reporting has cause Mr. Polk and have made the appropriate adjustments to correct the errors. A letter was mailed to Mr. [redacted] to confirm the adjustments on March 8th, 2017 (which is also included).   This should resolve and close this complaint.

quoting a payoff for your Global Loan account. We have thoroughly reviewed within our records the timing in which each payoff inquiry was made along with the timing of each payment posting to your account history. We were able to determine the automated system was accurate in present the true balance, payment fee and impound included, for each inquiry that was made. Based on your explanation of your calculations in effort to pay in full the exact balance we can understand the confusion. It is clear to us it was caused by the actual payment processing day and time that crossed your calculation which was accurate for the very moment it was obtained from the system. Equiant would like to accommodate your request of refunding the entire $20.20 paid on 10/13/2014. The transaction reversal will be submitted today and completed within 2 business days. During this timeframe your account will be reinstated to an active status to allow for processing the transaction reversal. reporting as one of the services offered to our client SVC/Wyndham. Equiant did not take over ownership. The loan account is still with the original creditor.After review of account records, Equiant received notification from SVC/Wyndham to report Mr. [redacted]’s loan as repossession with zero balance as of August, 31st 2016. Equiant received a credit bureau dispute from Mr. [redacted] initiated through E-Oscar on February 7th, 2017 claiming the account was settled with attorney, not obligated to continue paying monthly fees, should not be categorized repossession, it is closed satisfactorily, and request to remove negative account status. The information was submitted to SVC/Wyndham March 1st, 2017 for review. SVC/Wyndham confirmed the reporting is accurate (repossession with zero balance),therefore, no changes were made to Mr. [redacted]’s credit bureau report. Attached is a copy of the response. Equiant has no knowledge of nor able to discuss the negotiated terms of the settlement for Mr. [redacted]’s account, SVC/Wyndham alone retains this authority and can be reached at [redacted] for further assistance.This should resolve and close the complaint.

as one of the services offered to our client [redacted].We would like to first clarify; The payment authorization number is verification Equiant received approval from the cardholder to process payment and does not confirm the Credit Card Company or Banking Institution approved the payment.After review of the account, we found the payment initiated 5/23/17 of $7,241.14 from the Master card ending [redacted] was DECLINE (DO NOT HONOR). We ask that Mrs. [redacted] confirm this information with her bank records and if that is correct, log on to our website and resubmit the payment. If the payment declines again, Mrs. [redacted] must contact her Credit Card Company or Banking Institution for assistance.We also found, $300.00 loan principal payments were set up for auto pay via Equiant’s website on4/24/17. The loan was not closed as paid in full 5/23/17, therefore, auto pay resumed as scheduled causing a debt to take place on 5/24/17 for $300.00. Per Mrs. [redacted] request, an agent will contact her to confirm this information. Should Mrs. [redacted] need future assistance, Equiant’s Call Center is open Monday through Friday 8:00 AM till 5:00 PM MST and can be reached at [redacted] (via email at [redacted]).This should resolve and close the complaint.

The [redacted]’s dispute includes several issues:1-  Point of sale, feels the membership was sold under false pretence2-  [redacted] Card billing3-  Has not received answers to their questions (by mail, phone, or in person)4-  Has not received a statement5-  Request to cancel the membership6-  Refund of all monies paid into the membershipAfter review of The [redacted]’s loan account with [redacted] Vacations Resorts, Equiant contacted the [redacted]s 12/1/14 to assist with change of autopay information.  Equiant also contacted the [redacted]s 2/24/15 to assist with bringing the loan account current and the cancelation of autopay in order to receive future statements. Our 2/24/15 contact included sending a credit card cancelation letter confirming the next payment due date and amount owed. To our knowledge, the letter was not returned from the post office.Equiant received a dispute letter dated 1/6/15 via certified mail. The items disputed are with our client, [redacted] Resorts & [redacted] Resorts Club.  [redacted] Resorts & [redacted] Resorts Club is the entities the [redacted]s contractually engaged and purchased from.   Equiant forwarded the 1/6/15 letter to [redacted] Resorts & [redacted] Resorts Club on1/20/15. To date, Equiant has not received information back from our client.As [redacted] Resorts’ & [redacted] Resorts Club’s third party billing and payment processing agent, Equiant is not a party to, or has any ability to negotiate issues pertaining to contract origination, cancellation of membership, ability to settle sales issues, or refund monies paid towards the membership.
