I had a major electrical job. EES came out, evaluated the problem and went right to work. They replaced both my main electrical box and breaker box with brand new, upgraded boxes. They do excellent work. Shout out to Jay for his expertise! Also, Renee who came out to patch and paint after everything was installed. Everyone I was in contact with at the company is knowledgeable and polite. A lot of people would think they are expensive, but for the great work they do, it's worth the money.

Carlos and Hector were very skilled, thorough and knowledgeable. Recommended!

Raul was extremely professional and extremely well mannered. Showed up on time, did the work in very good time... on a personal note I'm the curious type and he was more than willing to explain everything in detail as he was doing it. This company has earned our business for life for our electrical needs!

Wallace was efficient and prompt. Very satisfied and would definitely request him again. Didn't mind my yapping dogs and ignored them LOL

Oren came out and got the job done in a day. He didn't even mind working around the dog during her nap. Very pleased.

Express Electrical was very accommodating with my work schedule and the technician, Artur was knowledgeable and courteous.

I had a small fire in my kitchen on a Sunday. I called this service as they were one of the few that were available. They came to my home that day and began to diagnose my electrical problem. It was a very complicated one to solve, but Express Electrical solved it and fix it within the next 48 hours. They are very experienced and are very knowledgeable about electrical issues. They were polite and timely. I highly recommend their services.

Raul *** was excellent -- on time, very patient, painstaking in checking out what needed to be done, explained the work very well. I'll definitely call again next time I need electrical service!

Outrageous charge for one circuit breaker replacement. *** labor for a *** part
On 12/27/19 night suddenly we lost power in the condo. We contacted express electrical services for repair and agreed for next morning repair to avoid emergency charge. 12/28/19 technician arrived and told me after troubleshooting that it will need couple hours of work to restore power and it would cost *** I was shocked to hear it costs that much. But as I have no idea what is involved on electrical work I trusted him that is a fair price for the repair. In 15 minutes the power was restored after he replaced ONE circuit breaker.
Few hours later my neighbor told me that same thing happened to her unit few months ago and the repair costed her $150 only for one circuit breaker replacement. I was shocked how much I was overcharged!
So I google searched the 50 Amp 2 pole Pushmatic breaker listed on the invoice to see how much the part cost. it only costs about *** The invoice that I received in the email later that day does not break down part vs labor. So I see he charged me *** for the labor. It is unacceptable practice!
I contacted the company and I received an email back offering me *** refund. I rejected it because they still want to charge me *** for labor. It's not a fair market price. I don't mind to pay *** or *** or even double to *** for the service but not what I consider as a scam, an unethical business practice, taking advantage of seniors and people in need but no electrical technical knowledge.

Desired Outcome

Fair charge for the job like an honest contractor, *** to *** max.

We received a service request for the Tenant of *** C. on 12/27/19 at 9:47pm. We instructed the tenant that we needed the Landlords authorization to service his unit. *** gave us authorization and we serviced his tenant on 12/28/19. We did inform *** that we charge by the job and not by the hour and our technicians arrive in a fully stocked service vehicle where most of the repairs can be handled on the first visit. Our technician reviewed several options with pricing with the *** before any work was preformed. *** chose to move forward with one of options and clearly understood the price for the job. The job was completed the same day and we received payment the same day.
On 1/8/2020 the Landlord *** contacted us and was not happy about the price he paid. The work was done correctly and we explained to *** again that we are a flat rate company.
As we strive to have great customer service, we offered *** a partial good faith refund. *** was still not satisfied with the partial good faith refund amount. This mattered was escalated to upper management and they continued the conversations with ***.
Management and *** came to an acceptable good faith refund amount on 1/13/2020. A check was hand delivered to *** on 1/15/2020.
We where surprised to see this complaint come thru the Revdex.com as we were already in communication with *** and came to a mutual agreement. We feel this complaint should be removed.

I Do not agree this complaint to be removed from Revdex.com because I tried few times to reach the company but they never called me back until I filed this complaint.
Note: we reached agreement because I had to sign the paper stating that I will not expose this to public media or social media and I still had to pay $300 for the service.

As stated on our previous reply, we started communication with *** on 1/8/2020. He did not try to reach us several times without a reply. As a business, we communicate with all of our clients and respond in a timely matter. Maybe we didn't move as fast as *** would have liked but communication was always there prior to his complaint on the Revdex.com.
We have a document that was drafted by our attorney, *** reviewed the document, signed it and we settled this matter. We feel *** is not holding up his end of this agreement. We strive to have great costumer service. We understand we can not satisfy everyone but when two parties come to a mutual agreement and one of those parties does not comply with their side of the agreement, that's not good practice as a business or individual. I have uploaded said document.

I Did call and talked to *** couple times. She said she would left message for management. Management didn't call until after Revdex.com case was filed.
I Did not use social media to tell my story So not sure why he accused me of not holding up the agreement.

Excellent job! Daniel is very pleasant and professional. He accessed our problem with our older (1980s) recessed light and was able to fix it quickly. We were glad that we did not have to replace the light. Thank you again, Daniel. We will call you for all our electrical needs.

I do not usually write reviews because I rarely have something substantial to report about concerning my experiences with service technicians. However, my recent experience with an electrician from Express Electrical Services was worth sharing. Upon finding out that my new refrigerator could not be hooked up without having a three prong outlet, I found an electrician that could install the outlet in my dated kitchen. Prior to his arrival Express Electrical services sent a photo of Raul Hernandez, he was professional and courteous, he was punctual and was able to explain the process to a couple of electrical novice in such a way that my partner and I understood exactly what he would be fixing in our house. He presented multiple options and did not pressure us to pick the most expensive option. He was well equipped with the necessary tools needed to complete the job. I really appreciated how transparent he was about the prices and what would be needed to resolve our electrical problems. I love that they insure their work and I look forward to working with Express Electrical in the future.
