Our Electrian is ***. He did an excellent job. He gave us several options that allows us choices that we could afford. Our air-conditioner had broken down because of a lack of current that was going into our electrical box that is well over 50 years old. He stood here all day to make sure that it was fixed in over 106° weather. We are greatful for his service and are happy to report that our air conditioning is working very well. I would recommend this service to everyone who wants peace of mind that the work performed is guaranteed and safe.

I was charged 280 dollars for having a broken light switch replaced in my kitchen. He wanted 330 to replace two.. I couldn't believe it!!
I called this company to come to my house and replace a broken light switch in my kitchen. The tech came to my house and wanted 330$ dollars to replace two. I refused to pay that ridiculous amount. For one he charged 280$. If I refused he was going to charge me a 50$ home visit fee. I felt obligated to employ him. I feel cheated.. I have three kids and a dog and a mortgage.. 280$ is theft! I want to know if it's standard practice in California for a company to charge this much for this type of work. I did some research online and the average pricing went from

Desired Outcome

I would like to know why I was charged 280$ dollars? The tech was very professional. No problems there. My problem is a guy throwing out numbers based on? The community he goes in? The car the person drives? Why 289$ for a 5$ dollar part and 5 minute repair.

Hi, I appreciate your feedback. My electricians are all California Sate certified. Each one of my electricians are trained to work with a company price book. The price we gave you for the repair is the same price we give all are other customers no matter where they live. We strictly charge by the job NOT by the hour. We provided a complete service we don't sell parts. Nevertheless, We are all about customer satisfaction guaranteed. Please call me so we may talk about this some more. Please advise

Thank you for your reply. I called the agency who sent the technician and was told that someone would return my call and assist me within the next day. Unfortunately, I waited and waited an no one returned my call. I felt that the next step would be to contact the Revdex.com.
There is nothing I can do about the service provided. It's done and that's your policy.

As far as customer satisfaction goes there are a couple of things I wanted to bring up. I don't think it's very professional to install used parts and charge that much. But your policy states that it's ethical to do so according to your statement. Since you are not a store.
Another issue I want to be answered is why? your electrician did not turn off the power to the house before conducting electrical work. This guy was polite but, he never turned off the light breakers. My whole cabinet lights were dimming on and off, chirping, as he was changing the light switch.
I asked why he didn't kill the light breakers he said it would take longer. He took a shortcut to save 2 minutes on a 5 minute job what if he started a fire? What if he damaged my lighting panel? I don't know if it was laziness on his behalf or if that's the way electricians are trained by the state or if that's policy?

To comfort the customer and practice safety. It might be a good Idea to turn off the panels before doing any electrical work in any dwelling. Can you assure me that my cabinets and light panel did not sustain any damaged because he didn't turn off the power?
To conclude the customer service portion. I don't think I will hire your company to work for me again. I don't agree with the type of work practice, used parts and high pricing.

from EXpress electrical service was very professional and informative. He diagnosed the electrical problem I was having and gave me several options to repair the problem. He was considerate about keeping my home clean and did not leave a mess after the repair. The service is a little pricey but you get what you pay for and he is a licensed electrician. The service came with a warranty and I would most likely use this company again for future repairs. Thank you *** for making this repair. You are definitely an asset to the company you work for.
