Thank you for your patience on this matter, as of today I guess you have been in contact with our project manager [redacted] getting everything resolvedAs of today the shingles you have chosen will be delivered next week by [redacted] roofing supply for 7/roof load Installation shortly after that depending on the weather will be started We deeply apologize for the delay on your roof and hope to restore confidence, it has been a crazy year for us as far as weather, new hail storms, shortage of shingles, shortage of crews (we have 9) and a double growth pattern I hope we can exceed your expectations once we receive the back ordered shingles you have picked out Thanks again

We are sorry about the delay, you should have received letters in the mail about scheduling issues? We are not a scam, we are not a fly by night company, we are not taking advantage of the elderly, we are a good company that has a extremely long back log The storm in San Antonio damaged 700K roof tops in one short week, and has been a blessing for our business and a curseWe currently construct 15-roofs a week with the same crews, we did not add unqualified crews like some storm chaser company Sounds to me that your frustration is all directed to the communication from our office (i will look into this) We have been running and continue to run at full speed to get to these projects in order of the contract date You currently are very close to the top of the list, materials have been ordered, and schedule is tentative of the weatherI hope you can understand We have faced some unavoidable situations over the last several months One being the weather, as per the construction process and checklist sheet you signed, it states 5-weeks out if weather is wonderful The contract was dated 8/24/with 5-weeks out, that would have put us installing your roof the week of OCT 10th with wonderful weather According to NOAA we had one of the wettest falls in recent history Our weather plan states if it calls for 30% or more we will not roof, when the weather calls for a percentage this means that that percentage of the coverage area will get rainWhen we have rain in the forecast every other day, most roofs take days, we have to be careful of striping a roof with chance of rain Everyday we can not roof, we get behind 3-roofs It becomes a multiplication effect, and compounds We are finally getting leveled out, production wise, we just got an overload of work in a short amount of time We thought we were ready for the huge influx in business, however with any growth there are pains that we didn't foresee We are currently implementing procedures so the next go around is smoother I encourage you to come by our office at [redacted] and see we are legit.Thank You, [redacted]

Complaint: I am rejecting this response because: I requested flashing for full length of valleys prior to final workI have final say, not SafeCo I am not cognizant about Owens Corning not recommending either flashing or rubber membrane for their product I will check with manufacturerHowever, three major roofing companies in area I checked with stated it is highly recommended to use one or the other otherwise leakage will occur sooner or laterThis recommendation is called 'standard workmanship' practice by these companies.Per text message at 11.03pm, the message was done to prevent a call interrupting so late and have information available for person next morningDid not know person uses text messaging 24/Perhaps person needs to have a separate company emergency number as most companies do and turn off personal cell phone after hoursApologize for late text but did not know of cell phone's usage However, I did not appreciate person's two belligerent responses in light of his incorrect assumption I was purposely calling late.With respect to doing repair at no cost is a misleading statement to make since repair was under Year Workmanship Guarantee by Bow Tie; so, honor it.Understand the thought behind the statement about not disrupting shingles that may cause immediate problems However it comes across as saying don't call us until there is a leak due to workmanshipConsequently, I feel there is a lack of due diligenceIt should be re-iterated that person agreed in a text message that other valley in question should be re-worked Regards, [redacted] ***

Good Morning, The office will be calling you to set up a install time We are currently running 4-weeks behind schedule due to rains in May, the heat (roofers can only work till about 2, its on the roof), and now weeks of rain in August Unfortunately in this type of business we are sub-come to the weather With your insurance monies we order material for your home at the time of the deposit We will be reaching out to you shortly Thank you

Mr [redacted] roof was completed last month and he has paid for his roof and is refusing to pay the additional for the painting of fascia which l he says he doesn't owe us money for that tradeWe will be more than glad to do the work if he agrees to pay the once the additional work is completed I have the invoices and the copies of the checks which show he has an outstanding balance and what money he has paid, thank you for time please let me know how to resolve this issue

Mr [redacted] ,We are extremely sorry about the delay on your metal roof, we know you are excited for the new addition to your home We understand it has taken longer than expected due to a couple of reasons, we are not ones to make excuses however things have happened beyond our control This year has been a crazy year for weather as you well know, we have had more rain than most (spring), now its hot and the guys are working at a slower pace The biggest reason for the delay is on 4/12/San Antonio received the biggest hail storm in history with Billion in Damage, softball size hail, so this created a huge backlog with the suppliers, labors, and emergency situations in and around SA As you can only imagine having holes in your roof and decking would be a nighmare Everything is starting to level out now, suppliers are not as far out and labor is starting to become manageable We have you on the schedule to have your roof installed in a few weeks Your roofing material is ready we are just waiting on the crew to finish a couple of jobs Thank you in advance and please call us if you have any questions [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:The vendor stated calling me when my attorney sent a letter requesting my $deposit on February 16, We waited long enough since August to have our roof installed I'm not satisfied with there customer service and I don't believe that Bow Tie will install my roof for another months I would like my money back so I can hire another roof contractor My attorney sent another letter asking Bow Tie to refund our full deposit or we will sue The contract that was sent to us back on August 23,was a one page sheet Regards, [redacted]

[redacted] has spoken to [redacted] (***) several times about getting the roof scheduled after signing a new contract with the franchise office in New Braunfels as to we will be installing the roof [redacted] explained to Ms [redacted] that the original contract was from the Jourdanton office which recently went out of business We also stated to Ms[redacted] we will issue a refund however per our contract there will be a 35% held back from the contract price [redacted] denied bothBowTie ( [redacted] ) will be in contact with Ms [redacted] in the next days Thank you, [redacted] ***
