I am rejecting this response because: the contract states that there would be new underlayment installed.  An email has been sent to Joshua Norris that we will pay the balance once the original contract has been fulfilled to which he has yet to reply.  Upon inspection of the roof it was discovered that there were multiple things done wrong which resulted to leak of the brand new roof that they installed.  Unfortunately,  it was the same area that leaking that they should've probably repaired.  Due to this,  the newly repaired room was damaged again. I was also informed by [redacted] the president of bow-tie roofing that all the valleys need to be replaced due to not being installed properly as well as areas around the roof vents and pvc. This was supposed have been completed by [redacted] crews on the December 16th, 19th, 20th,and then 21st but no one very showed up or were told why they didn't make it. I have had to pay more out of pocket due to them failing to show to fix it and most likely will now have to have it completely re-done by another company.  Therefore I don't except the business response.

All work has been completed per our contract with Mrs. [redacted], completed a little over 3 weeks ago. We are awaiting final payment.

We installed Mrs [redacted] roof back in august and it was brought to our attention that the underlayment may not have been installed, which the underlayment  is only used as method for drying in while the roof is being installed because once you put shingles on you put holes in the underlayment...

 with the nails so for this I deducted the cost of the underlayment even though it couldn't be proven that it was not installed. And Mrs [redacted]  agreed to pay the balance and then Mr [redacted] intervened and has not paid us his remaining balance of 3000.00 dollars, and now his roof is leaking and wants us to fix it but as stated on his contract until the balance is paid the warranty is not valid, so if he will pay his balance we will come out and do any repairs on the roof if he does not pay he has no warranty we have tried everything to resolve this issue with Mr [redacted], oh and Mr [redacted] is not on the contract [redacted] is who signed the contract thank you have blessed day.....[redacted],

independent offices and make sure everything is taken care of.  By our agreement with the independent office we have to give them the opportunity to solve any and all issues.  However if they neglect to do so we will intervene and help resolve all issues and bill the owner for the time and labor.  We are here to help and please do not hesitate to call. Thank you

I am rejecting this response because: I requested flashing for full length of valleys prior to final work. I have final say, not SafeCo.  I am not cognizant about Owens Corning  not recommending either flashing or rubber membrane for their product.  I will check with manufacturer. However, three major roofing companies in area I checked with stated it is highly recommended to use one or the other otherwise leakage will occur sooner or later. This recommendation is called 'standard workmanship' practice by these companies.Per text message at 11.03pm, the message was done to prevent a call interrupting so late and have information available for person next morning. Did not know person uses text messaging 24/7. Perhaps person needs to have a separate company emergency number as most companies do and turn off personal cell phone after hours. Apologize for late text but did not know of cell phone's usage.  However, I did not appreciate person's two belligerent responses in light of his incorrect assumption I was purposely calling late.With respect to doing repair at no cost is a misleading statement to make since repair was under 10 Year Workmanship Guarantee by Bow Tie; so, honor it.Understand the thought behind the statement about not disrupting shingles that may cause immediate problems.  However it comes across as saying don't call us until there is a leak due to workmanship. Consequently, I feel there is a lack of due diligence. It should be re-iterated that person agreed in a text message that other valley in question should be re-worked.

Mr [redacted] roof was completed last month and he has paid for his roof and is refusing to pay the additional 2769.88 for the painting of fascia which l he says he doesn't owe us money for that trade. We will be more than glad to do the work if he agrees to pay the 2769.88 once the additional work...

is completed I have the invoices and the copies of the checks which show he has an outstanding balance and what money he has paid, thank you for time please let me know how to resolve this issue

I certainly understand your frustration on the delay of your roofing project. We realize that you need your roof put on as soon as possible. With that being said, all production stops in the event of bad weather therefor it delays us on installation of roofs.  Please...
