We do not state anywhere that certificates are long form. We state that the certificates through us are government certified, which yours is.

Hello, a few issues we have with your complaint. See below:
Keep in mind expedited DOES NOT quote 10-14 days to delivery. Instead, it lists an estimated 15-20 business days of state processing before shipping, which is quite different than what you stated in your complaint.
Also, when you place an order, you have to agree to this: "I understand that estimated processing times are completely out of the control of Fastbirthcertificates.com, and unrelated to the service they provide. I understand that state processing times are rough estimates that are not guaranteed, and I understand that state delays are common."
The order number you provided in this complaint is not valid.
We are happy to help any customer that needs help. But we are unwilling to address a complaint of this nature as it is completely invalid.

Keep in mind, the fee structure is not fine print. It is listed very clearly in multiple places. We apologize for the confusion. I have attached a screenshot showing how the payment page and the Terms you agreed to appeared. Unfortunately we are unwilling to issue a refund in this case. So sorry about that.

I am instructed not to check yes, "unless I am completely staisfied with how the company handled the response" - Well, I can't say that, not at all.
Finally, on 18 August 2015, I recieved a refund (although, it has yet to show up at my bank, so we will see). I payed for their "service" in early May, by early June I asked for assistance or a refund. I don't find it acceptabloe for it to take 4 months of constant complaining to get my money back. Also, not once did I receieve any formal apology or acknowledgement for their negligence in this matter. This is not how successful small buisnesses operate.
I called master card and I called my bank, capital one - there is NO REFUND in the works. This company is FAKE and a SCAM....future patrons beware!

As mentioned, we were unaware of the issue until we received this. So allow this to be our formal apology: we are so sorry! Our goal is to get birth certificates to our customers as quickly as possible, and we are terribly sorry you did not get this as we promised.
As mentioned, the issue was that the address you listed was not your correct address, so the certificate was returned to the state office.
Regardless, we went ahead and processed a full refund on 8/19 to your card ending in 5926 (screenshot attached). Sometimes it can take up to a week for a refund to post. I am also happy to chat with your bank to show them refund documentation, but I would suspect by now the refund has posted.
We are here to help. If you want anything more from us we are all ears. Just let me know what you need to feel better or to resolve this situation.

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:  The statement that I received the first order is inaccurate.  I never received and after contacting [redacted] per your instructions, they said they would send a message to ** County and have it resend it.  I am certainly not interested in incurring another expense by re-submitting the cancelled order. 
I am asking for a refund of the second expedited service and the oringial order because I have not received anything to date but a passport application that I filed and requested on my second order.  For some reason that made it to the intended address.

The order was sent to the state that the customer requested on the order. This can be confirmed by looking at the automatic email receipt. Because we performed the service requested, we are unwilling to issue a refund. However, we are willing to file a new order at no cost to the customer, but the customer needs to give us the corrected information to do so. The customer can email [email protected] to do this.
