I bought a new toilet I told from Frank Gay on 06/19/2020 without being told the price and found it to be damaged . I tried to resolve the problem .
I called Frank Gay plumbing on 06/17/20 and told that someone would be sent to my home on in 2 dys. John C came and I told him I was not feeling well. After a while , we went outside and in the back of his truck were two toilets out of boxes . I
asked if they were new or being taken from from someones home because of a problem and was told no . he asked if I would take one one I said if he is telling me the truth yes. In less than a month I found damage inside the bowl . Since then I have been passed from one person to person . The last one Steve Mac agreed that we had re solved it with a return of some of the $1142. I paid by check .

Hello. The document above summarizes my attempts to get resolution from Frank Gay Services for AC repair. Please note:
June 26, 2020 - date Tech came to assess; advised a coil needed to be replaced on AC; he would check if under warranty. He gave rough estimate of cost but said it depended if under warranty. I paid $500 in advance. I was told they would contact Carrier re part/s and warranty on Saturday 6/27 and would repair on Mon 6/29. The rep said he would call back on SA to advise if under warranty. I asked to the estimate in writing. The rep said it was all online now. I followed up with a phone call on SA evening as no one followed up. A mgr. called back on SUN night and said they dropped the ball and no one called Carrier on SA. He said they would follow up on Mon. Service scheduled for 6/29 from 2 to 6 pm. No one showed up on Mon. I called the office and left a message for call back. Rec'd call back that evening that the part was not available but my AC was under warranty. Rep advised that my service would be done on TH July 2. I stated that was not okay. I also stated that I needed a detailed estimate as it was covered by warranty and I only needed to pay for labor. Management rep said they would pick up the parts on WED and come to my house afterwards. He said they had dropped the ball and would take off $200. I agreed.
July 1, 2020 - I still had not received a detailed estimate. I called the office. I was told they would forward to management. The AC Technician comes. I explained I did not want to allow service until I knew the details. A manager called me on the service technician's phone. He said the estimate was what it cost in general, "It is in our book as the price to charge", and he did not have a break down. He said it was a fair price for reliable clean cut people. He said he would charge anyone the same. "You can trust us" he said. I asked for a detailed break down and the $200 lowering of the bill as agreed to by the previous manager I talked with. He said ok. I again asked for a detailed estimate. He could not give it to me orally. He said they would send me a revised estimate in writing.

The repairs were done.

July 2 - July 27, 2020: I subsequently called the office at least 4 additional times asking for the invoice with detailed breakdown and $200 off.

July 28, 2020: Then, I get this email today July 28, 2020 (see attached copy).

I have been treated unprofessionally and over charged. I have been denied the information I requested. I have paid $500. I am willing to pay $500 more. The parts were covered by Warranty. The labor took a few hours subtracting the time it took for the technician to return to the office to get a correct part.

Please help!!! I am a senior citizen on a fixed income.

Desired Outcome

I want a reduced and fair bill and detail of labor costs. I am willing to pay an additional $500. I paid $500 on July 1, 2020.

I call frank gay to fix my ac they did not fix it and they charge me 500 for a job not was done
My ac was not working. I called frank gay to fix it, they came and inspected and they told me that I needed a new motor, they replaced it and they told me to give it a couple hours to cool down because the house was hot I waited 5 hours and the house continued to be 97 degrees, I called them I told them that the ac is not working. so they told me they will send someone to check it out. the next day they came and they told me that its not working the job they did. They told me to call the manager to get my money back because the job they did not work. I called the manager and he told me he is not going to give me my money back because they did the job, I explained to him that they told me it was the motor and that they did not fix the problem that how they didnt do the job and I told him that they left cables outside next to the motor. my community complained to me that its dangerous for the kids that they could get hurt he told me its not a problem. I sent the pictures how they left it he did not care. I told him I wanted my money back, he told me he will not give me my money back, It was a week without ac 97 degree still, he did not care and he was laughing in the phone, I had a 2 year old and an 11 year old in the house. Its not right that they want to take money from a single mother when they didn't finish the job. I'm sorry to say but that company have people that are not professional and they lie and steal so I have to call another company to fix my ac, and with the new company I did not have any problems.I just want my money back. I don't want nothing else just my money

Frank Gay Management has been in negotiations with this customer. Our technicians operate with professionalism having the customer's best interest in mind. Safety is paramount. The air conditioner is an older unit; when attempting to repair older units, we advise customers on both repair and replacement options. We committed to apply the repair investment toward a new unit if the repair was not successful. Customer has had other service providers to her home to find the best value in regards to AC repairs/replacement; we understand and encourage competitive shopping. However, our offer to apply repair investment toward replacement only applies to Frank Gay replacement. Our Management Team will reevaluate this scenario to insure we have made every effort toward to the customer's best interest. Thank You.

Working on a laundry room remodel. Needed laundry box and water lines moved, also needed a Gas line reduced in the wall. Technician came out looked at the job and said it could definitely be done in a couple of hours. Provided many different options (17 to be exact) because it was a costly job. He was nice enough to break down the individual jobs if we needed. But we felt we were getting the right company for the job so we made the decision go with FG services. Contacted the tech the next day agreed upon an option and he stated he would be out there the same day.
He came out and removed an existing utility sink ( which was included in the price) gouging a hole in the wall which we overlooked because he removed the sink and cabinet. He reduced the gas line which allowed for a more workable space. The laundry water lines were cut and capped and the laundry box was moved to the area of the previous sink. Looking at the job upon completion, it looked acceptable. So we proceeded to insulate the wall (1/2 styrofoam sheets and spray foam) to make up for missing insulation and various holes noted before we had the drywall contractor come in and re-drywall the space (5x5 ft). The drywall contractor immediately noted that the plumbing was NOT flush in the wall further noting that there was enough room in the stud that the plumbing could have been moved back. Because of this plumbing obstruction the entire wall of dry wall needed to be replaced to allow for furring strips to be attached to the studs prior drywall. Needless to say this doubled our drywall cost ( half wall vs. full wall + furring strips). Reached out to the technician and unable to get a response, contacted customer service and spoke to a Sara that stated they would make it right and would have the technician come back to our house that evening between 4-8. Sara further stated that they also have a division that does drywall and they would be willing to give us a discount on the drywall once the plumbing was completed. We were contacted by another technician around 7 pm requesting details of " what's going on". My husband explained the issue and sent pictures that the technician proceeded to share with the original tech. The original technician then stated that the insulation we put in place ( 1/2 styrofoam and Home Depot spray foam) "pushed" out the 2 inch pipe from inside the wall causing the problem. This was quite frankly laughable, even the technician we were speaking to agreed that was not the issue, and stated he believed a manager needed to get in involved because the original technician needed to come back out and fix the issue. At this point I'm not sure if he is refusing to come back out or if other plumbers don't like to touch others work; but I now have a laundry room that is out of commission until FG services can figure out how to solve this issue. And the " discount" for the drywall by FG services was 2x's the cost of the most expensive drywall company, we got estimates from ( if that tells you how over priced this company is). Hugely disappointed, will definitely give my business to smaller local companies that still believe in customer service.

Frank Gay Services came out and serviced my AC unit on 7/20/20. made a repair to a switch and added 4 pounds of coolant and within 2 hours the AC stopped working. They sent another Technician out today and he said all of the coolant leaked out.
I was not told this would or could happen. I paid $656 in cash and would not have throwed my money away had I known that would happen. Or possibly happen. I have requested a refund to no avail. Only offered a discount on a new system or more repairs. I would like at least a partial refund because this was a deceptive transaction. I do not want to do
Any further business with this company as they are not honest . At minimum I want my money back for the coolant and the service fee for it .

Frank Gay Management is agreeable to a refund due to the fact that the air conditioner lost the freon and the unit is not cooling. I have emailed Ms V for the past 2 days still haven't spoke to anyone about a refund. I only have the emails I attached . I want my back by tomorrow or I will have to go a step further. They scammed me and are avoiding me and are prolonging giving me my money back. They agreed that a refund is due so what is the hold up . I want my money.l

I bought an a/c unit from this company on May 20,2020.By July 5,starting the problems.It has broke on July 5,July 11,July 13,July 14, July 15,July 17.I am 68 years old with high blood pressure,bipolar,depression and anxiety,also my mom is 94 years old with high blood pressure. We lived on social security and we don't have money out of pocket to add some other stuff they are telling me in order for the a/c work properly,that is why is a new unit.I want them to replace this a/c because I think is a defect unit and they are sending techs that are not solving the problem,they just put it to work for 6 or 7 hours and then stop working again.We don't even have spare money like that and they had told me 5 things, one $200, $300 and $500, to "PROBABLY SOLVE THE PROBLEM" BUT WHY HAS NOT BEEN EXPLAINED TO ME WHEN I BOUGHT THIS $11,000.00 UNIT ,FINANCE,BECAUSE I DONT HAVE MONEY LIKE THAT? NOW THEY ARE coming with all this issues that a new unit should not have and if it had anything should be said when buying unit.Not after 6 weeks and 4 days of instalation.I know this is a defect unit and I want it replace,too expensive to be having this problems after 6 weeks of instalation. Just like cars has defect parts,this is a defect unit.I was so lucky to get it.

Plumber misdiagnosed problem with leak 05/30 and did not fix problem and I still have yet to receive my refund.
I had a plumber from Frank gay services come out to my brother's property May 30th to inspect a leak at the top of my brother's hot water heater. The plumber misdiagnosed the problem and had said that the problem was coming from behind the wall and had said that my brother's HOA would take care of it. He charged $119 for the consultation and left. The plumbers sent by the HOA (*** plumbing) said that the diagnosis was incorrect and the damage was probably caused by the people fixing my brother's air conditioner and was charged a consultation fee for this as well since it wasn't covered by the HOA. The air conditioning company then fixed the hot water heater free of charge. I had contacted Frank gay services to demand my money back (because I wrote the check) and my brother signed a contract June 22 stating that the $119 would be refunded in 15 business days and it is well past that point. I had called the company again 07/13, 15 business days later to see where the check was because the contract my brother signed said to expect the check in 15 business days. The secretary had told me that she would contact her supervisor and call back within 24 hours and has still not called back. As of now we are on business day 18.

Desired Outcome

I wish to have a refund of the $119 sent to me promptly and I wish for a letter of apology from the company's management for incompetence at all levels.

The customer satisfaction agreement was only valid if the $119 was sent within 15 business days as that was what was written in the agreement. The company did apologize to me over the phone but I will not be fully satisfied until the $119 is in my hands.

Company will not allow me to cancel the "Family Plan".
I've tried to call twice to cancel the "Family Plan" and the operator tells me they are unable to do so and that I'd receive a call back from the manager. I've waited over a week and I have not received a call back. After calling again in attempt to cancel I'm told the same thing and do not receive a call. I don't want them to attempt to convince me to stay on the plan or any any other tactics to avoid the cancellation, I simply want to cancel.

Faulty install on new A/C system.
Frank Gay has sent a tech to my house six times to repair an A/C unit that they installed less than six months ago. Today marked the third attempt at fixing a leaky A/C duct that they built. The repair held for 6 hours and it's leaking again.

Previously it took them 3 attempts to fix the blower relay. Their first two techs didn't even know how to diagnose the problem. My unit was less than a month old at the time.

Desired Outcome

I would like a full refund (to include finance charges), the A/C system removed, and to be reimbursed for the 6 days that I have had to take off work to deal with this.

My experience with Frank Gay Services has been horrible. I spent $8,000+ on a new A/C unit and the level of work and service was not good. The technicians sent to my home did not speak English so I was unable to communicate with them. A supervisor or manager did not visit my home prior, during or after the work was completed. Four specific problems: 1-the thermostat was not mounted level, 2-the wiring in the handler compartment was left hanging and not taped correctly, 3-a substantial hole was left in the wall where a new electric box was mounted and 4- the condenser is leaking fluid. I also found a rubber fitting next to the unit; not sure if the part is needed or not! Pictures are attached. I have tried for 2 days to reach someone from customer service but no one returned my calls. Finally, I called again and supposedly they are planning to come to my home and inspect the work tomorrow. Overall, a bad experience and I do not recommend them.

Contracted Frank Gay for supply line leak repair which was not done properly. Frank Gay refuses to fix.
Contracted F Gay to repair leak at exterior supply line for which I was charged $370 work was completed on May 8th. Lawn maintenance notified tenant of further leak and I notified Frank Gay on June 6th. I met with Frank Gay repair man who told me that leak was not under warranty - the leak is at weld. Asked to speak with management who repeated message that leak was from pipe and that the pipe is not under warranty. Obviously either the leak was not properly sealed or the pipe was damaged by the work since the leak is very clearly right at the weld that Frank Gay made.

Desired Outcome

Fair solution is for Frank Gay to fix leak which they were contracted and already paid to do and reimburse me for the absurd second visit fee of $20.

I have received refund for faulty welding (which Frank Gay refused to honor through the one year warranty stated in their contract) in return for my removing on-line reviews. Case may be closed.

Billy Jr called when said he would, arrived on time and provided us with a lot of help and information. We are hopeful the installers are as good as Billy. If so, Frank Gay will have a happy long term customer.

frank *** - is the best. I had a real crises with a stuffed main drain. nothing was leaving the shower or the toilet. they came the same day and quickly found the problem --roots from the oak trees have clogged the drain. branden and assistant quickly and methodically got everything working again. I highly recommend them.

We had an incredibly poor experience with Frank Gay Services. To give a bit of background, we are having problems with our A/C drain line which is currently clogged, and we had our regular A/C company come out and attempt to clear it. They were unable to clear the drain line and said we need to abandon the drain line, and they quoted us to install a new drain line with a "condensate pump." They recommended that a plumber might be able to clear the line beyond their capabilities. So we called Frank Gay Services and explained the situation to them, and we scheduled to have a plumber come out and take a look at the line to tell us if we did really need to abandon it. We agreed to pay the service fee to have the plumber come out. Sounds simple enough, right? We pay the service fee, they send a plumber out to take a look. If the plumber can clear it, we will pay for that service which will be cheaper overall than installing a new drain line with a condensate pump. On the day of the service, Frank Gay Services sent out an A/C technician instead of a plumber. Their A/C technician took a look at the line and was unable to clear it after a brief attempt, and said we needed a plumber, which is what we THOUGHT we were getting when we scheduled the service with Frank Gay Services to begin with! So Frank Gay Service's own A/C tech told us that we needed a plumber who might be able to clear it, and this same tech actually scheduled the service for us with a plumber in his own company! Great! The next day, we wait for the plumber who does not show up on time. We call Frank Gay Services, and apparently there was a miscommunication and the Frank Gay Services A/C tech did NOT actually schedule the service with the plumber. So this is two miscommunications in a row with Frank Gay Services. (First they didn't send a plumber like we originally requested, and next they didn't actually schedule the service with the plumber after the first failed attempt.) So we re-schedule service with the plumber for the NEXT day (which is a Saturday on Memorial Day weekend, keep in mind). They tell us their plumber will be here between 4-8 PM on Saturday, so we arrange our entire weekend around this to make sure we are home to meet with this plumber. Well at 6:00 PM on Saturday of the scheduled service they call us to tell us that they will NOT be sending a plumber because the manager back in some office does not believe the plumber will be able to do anything based on his conversations with the original A/C technician. And the person who called me was incredibly rude when telling me that they won't be sending a plumber out. Why couldn't they tell us this up front instead of wasting our time? What on Earth is going on with this company? They definitely do not have it together. Now we won't be able to get someone out until Tuesday at the earliest because it's Memorial Day weekend. They have completely wasted my time, and I am posting this review in the hopes that you think twice about using Frank Gay Services, so that they do not waste your time too.

Lots of customer contact, even identifying the service person with a photo and name. Service person arrived in a timely manner, calling ahead of time so I knew when to expect him. He was very informative, fixed what needed fixing, and made some recommendations going forward. I will definitely use them again.
