Complaint Detail Unable to cancel account despite customer service repeatedly confirming account cancellationI have two accounts with Columbia House (not sure how that happened) associated with one e-mail addressEach month, I used to log in to both accounts to decline the Featured Selection so it was not mailedThe company switched to e-mail login on their websiteAt that time, I contacted the company via their customer service e-mail addressed to inquire as to whether my two accounts were consolidatedI was not able to get an answerI continued to log in to the account online to cancel Featured Selections, but they were delivered each monthI returned them to sender each timeI began contacting customer service to address the issueI e-mailed customer service with my issue and received a form e-mail indicating that they were sorry I was experiencing website login issues and that they reset the password associated with my accountIt indicated that I would receive a temporary password in a separate e-mailNo such password was ever receivedI answered that I did not ask for my password to be reset and that I now had no access to my online account due to their changing my passwordI exchanged many e-mails with customer serviceEach time I reiterated my problem, and each time I received a form e-mail from a different person that did not answer my question or solve my issueI began asking for my account to be cancelledI received an e-mail indicating that my account was cancelledI continued to receive Featured Selections in the mailI again e-mailed requesting cancellation and again received confirmation via e-mail that the account would be cancelledI continued to receive DVDs in the mailI e-mailed again and this time received an e-mail indicating that I had balances on my accountsThis is not possible, as I have returned every unwanted delivery and have paid for items I've ordered at the time of check outI indicated that I would not pay these balances and that I needed my account cancelledI received another form email indicating that my account had been cancelledI called customer service to ask that my accounts be cancelledI provided the woman with both account numbersShe asked that I hold while she cancelled each accountI held for several minutes while she worked, and she then indicated that both accounts had been successfully cancelledI continue to receive DVDs in the mail, howeverI first contacted customer service in November I need my accounts cancelled Desired Settlement Cancel account(s) and receive no further contact, deliveries, or e-mails from Columbia House Desired Settlement: Other (requires explanation)
