Review: On 6/4/15 a security door was paid for by check for $949.82. I was told full payment was necessary as this was a "custom door". On 7/6/15 our old screen door was removed and carted away as trash. After the installer inserted the new door he said the new screen panels were 2" short and the glass insert panels were 1" to long. The insert I had ordered with quail on the door is poorly crafted and shows at least a quarter inch gap for where the weld should have been.Desired Settlement: I want the door I ordered properly installed immediately with glass and screens that fit. This is what I paid for in advance..... or a complete refund.

We appreciate our customer providing feedback regarding their experience and contacted them quickly upon learning of the issue to further discuss. First Impression is currently working with our customer in an attempt to resolve this issue. On Tuesday, July 21 our Director of Service, [redacted] spoke by phone with our customer [redacted]. Our customer stated that the issues in question have been resolved and thanked our Director of Service for the follow up phone call. First Impression requests the Revdex.com reach out to [redacted] to confirm all issues have been resolved and then notify First Impression that this complaint has been closed as resolved with the Revdex.com.

Review: Within 6 months of having a custom powder coated pool fence and custom iron door installed, the pool fence began to deteriorate. I called First Impressions and a technician came 3 times to sand the fence with steel wool and repaint it. I was told that since I had an issue within the timeline of the warranty, that they would support it should it worsen in the future. The fence is rusted out in areas and for a fence that was installed less than 3 years ago this is unacceptable. I also called in December of 2012 to let them know a decorative piece had fallen off and did not receive a call back. I still have the piece that rusted off the fence at home and it's never been repaired.

I expressed my frustration and the customer service rep asked me to send photos. I was at work 48 miles from home and asked that someone come out and look at the fence. I was told someone would call me back. No one ever did.

Now I have a 6,000 deteriorating pool fence and a 4 year old. I have neighbors with cheap pool fences that have been installed since our homes were build 9 years ago and I have a pretty, expensive, newer fence, and it's falling apart. I was told that they would stand by it, and the repair tech gave me his card and said to call anytime. He is no longer with the company or his cell is disconnected.Desired Settlement: Repair or replace the deteriorated fence. I was told this would not reduce my ability to do it. I should have had the fence replaced when it began happening a year after installation.

It is important that the lines of communication between First Impression and [redacted] remain open as we address the concern and request that our client reciprocate our attempts to communicate. Our hopes and intentions are to come to a mutual agreement that satisfies our client’s desired repair resolution with the understanding that the product is no longer under warranty. Customer satisfaction is of the highest priority for First Impression, our number of complaints is very low compared to our annual volume of clients yet we take each and every situation like this very seriously as our Revdex.com record and industry leading reputation indicates.

Very professional sales and installation people. Excellent quality, reasonable lead time, excellent customer communication for installation from the main office and technician.

This is the second time we have used First Impression.

We had or screen door installed about3 weeks ago and it is breathtaking like a work of art ! The people at First Impression are outstanding very knowledgeable . I will be recommending them to everyone .. Thank you First Impression ??

Excellent service from time of selection thru the installation. Many styles to choose from at reasonable price. Sales person friendly, knowledgable, and "NO PRESSURE". Came promptly to measure and write final order. Installer very courteous and hard working. Cleaned up beautifully!

We contacted First Impression to get a quote on a security screen door, and they promptly responded with an appointment date. Sales rep [redacted] visited us, and helped us through all the products they handled. We picked a style and price, and had a contract. The door was completed ahead of schedule, and the installation was made in expert fashion. We're glad we bought the door and love the secure feeling it has provided us. We like the way it looks too.

Our technician was very courteous,and knowledgeable of the product. Had the security door installed in no time. Very happy with the door and the service.

First Impression Security Doors is great. A representative comes to your house and helps you select the best doors for your home. These doors are of excellent quality and will be customized to meet your needs. The installation was done on time; the installer very professional; and the old doors were hauled away.
