[redacted] Please accept this notice as Slomin’s response to the complaint of consumer [redacted] [redacted] has been a Slomin’s customer since December 2**and has maintained a good account Since her account was established we have visited her home three times for service The most recent visit to [redacted] was on 102** On 102** [redacted] contacted our office to report that she had no hot water Slomin’s customer service representative Ginny agreed to schedule a same day service appointment to check her issue [redacted] account was flagged that she had a separate gas hot water heater which she did not have coverage for Ginny informed [redacted] of this and advised there could be a possible charge for the visitAny customer that does not have a service contract with Slomin’s is charged $per hour plus parts A customer who has purchased Slomin’s service plan but they are in need of a service that is not covered under the agreement is charged $per hour plus partsShortly after [redacted] conversation with Ginny, she contacted our office again and spoke with Natalie to cancel the service appointment Approximately two hours later, [redacted] contacted our office again to request service because another company whom she had to home to check her hot water issue informed her that she was out of oil and that was the cause of her having no hot water Slomin’s customer service representative Joanne scheduled another same day service appointment to check [redacted] heating system Upon our mechanics arrival he dropped fifteen gallons of oil and got her unit back up and running [redacted] account was also updated that she has an indirect hot water heater and not a separate hot water heater which she also does not have coverage for During [redacted] conversation with Joanne on 102**she requested to speak with a supervisor because she was unhappy that she incurred an extra expense from the other company she called to check her heating system On 102**Slomin’s customer service supervisor Brendan contacted [redacted] to discuss her dissatisfaction As a courtesy he offered to issue her account a credit for $for the inconvenience [redacted] contacted our office again on 102** She spoke with Brendan once more because she was still unhappy as she was insistent on getting a full reimbursement for $ [redacted] requested that her issue be escalated and as Brendan’s manager I took over the phone call [redacted] and I spoke at length regarding her request to be reimbursed for $ I apologized several times for any inconvenience she felt Slomin’s caused her However I explained it was her choice to hire another company for service and cancel the appointment she scheduled with us Slomin’s did not refuse to service [redacted] we just simply forewarned of the possibility that the service she required could be at a chargeThere is but so much information we can acquire over the phone and it is our customer service representatives responsibility to advise of all probabilities Slomin’s has always cooperated with the Revdex.com in resolving matters that come to your attention and we are open to your suggestion in this matter However, Slomin’s does not believe it have conducted itself in any manner that would warrant your office’s intervention As previously mentioned, Slomin’s has already made [redacted] a generous offer to credit of $to account under the described circumstances Slomin’s cannot reimburse [redacted] for her making the decision to hire another company and not allowing Slomin’s to diagnose the issue If you should have any questions, please contact me at ###-###-#### Sincerely, Shaneka O [redacted] Customer Service Supervisor Slomin’s Inc

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: I have an oil delivery contract, as well as an oil burner service contract with Slomin’s, Inc., which were entered into on December 2, 2**(attached hereto as Ex“1")On night of Friday, September **, 2**6, a call was made to Slomin’s by a member of my household to advise them that there was no hot water in my home located at [redacted] I was advised to call back the next morning and have it put in as an emergency call When I called that following morning, I was advised that my home has a gas-powered hot water heater, which is completely incorrectI advised the customer service representative that I do not have any gas lines in my home She was unable to explain the inaccurate information, but I was able to later ascertain that the person who did the tuon my boiler in July of 2**had incorrectly listed the equipment at my homeThe customer service representative then attempted to fraudulently induce me into purchasing a hot water heater service contract, which initially I did consent to, but which I later declined on a subsequent phone call Based upon the representations of the customer service representative(s) I was told that I would have to wait anywhere from four to eight hours for a repairman to come, and that it could even be more than eight hours I advised the customer service representative(s) on each of my numerous phone calls that morning that there are small children in my home One of the customer service representatives and I had discussed that since I was not covered for the hot water heater any way that I would call the a different service provider, who come to my home within the hour, as it would resolve the issue faster given that there are small children in my home When the other service provider, Ideal Burner Service, Inc., arrived he immediately asked if perhaps I had run out of oilI was unsure and so I immediately called Slomin’s and explained the situation to the customer service representative who took my call, and I asked her if it was possible that I had run out of oil She stated to me, quite adamantly, that it was impossible since I had gotten gallons delivered in April and that I wasn’t due for another delivery until November The repairman from Ideal Burner then advised me that I do not have a water heater but rather a water storage tank and that the water is heated through the boilerI advised him that I have a boiler service contract with Slomin’s and he suggested that I call and have Slomin’s come to deal with the issueSo, I immediately called Slomin’s and scheduled an appointment for them to come to my home to address my lack of hot water Ideal Burner Service charged me $to come to my home (Invoice and Tendered Check attached at Ex“2"), which expense I would not have incurred had Slomin’s properly advised me in the first instanceLater that same day, the Slomin’s repairman arrived, and immediately looked at the boiler He then measured the oil in my underground tank, and immediately realized that I had run out of oil Due solely to Slomin’s failure to accurately and correctly record the equipment in my home, their failure to properly gauge the oil in my tank, and their failure to make timely oil deliveries to my home, I was forced to incur an expense of $ Had Slomin’s properly advised me that I do not have a hot water heater, but that my water is heated by the boiler (for which I have a service contract through Slomin’s), and had they correctly dealt with the oil level issue when I inquired, I would not have incurred the additional expense of $ They offered me a $credit for my next service contract which I declined as it is completely and wholly insufficient given the circumstancesI am not asking for a direct reimbursement but rather a credit to my account, which I think is fair a reasonable under the circumstances In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above Sincerely, [redacted]

[redacted] [redacted] Complaint ID: [redacted] Please accept this notice as Slomin’s response to the complaint of consumer [redacted] Slomin’s does apologize for any inconvenience *** [redacted] feels we may have caused [redacted] was a customer with Slomin’s since Prior to [redacted] conversation with our representative Sean on 42016, Slomin’s was not made aware of [redacted] ’s intention to cancel his account The evening of [redacted] contacted our office to discuss fixed heating oil prices Slomin’s representative Krystal informed [redacted] of our fixed rates available of $for a period of twelve months and $for six months [redacted] informed Krystal that he would call our office back again There was no communication with [redacted] after and his account remained active Our credit department representative Danielle, attempted to contact [redacted] the afternoon of concerning a past due balance but to no availAfter [redacted] sent in a payment of $on bringing his balance to $2.40, his next delivery was release just as Slomin’s has done in the past This is evident by the account log attached to this complaint During [redacted] conversation with Sean on 42016, in an attempt to settle and resolve his complaint amicably, Sean asked that [redacted] send our office a copy of his agreement with his new supplier to justify any possibly discounts to that could be applied to the delivery made on What Slomin’s received was an email that was not found to be sufficient to apply any discounts Slomin’s has always cooperated with the Revdex.com in resolving matters that come to your attention However, Slomin’s does not believe that it has conducted itself in any manner that would warrant your office's intervention To resolve [redacted] ’s complaint, Slomin’s is willing to adjust his delivery to $per gallon as the ceiling price shown in the email he provided if full payment is received by Upon receipt of $payment, Slomin’s will remove remaining charges If you should have any questions, please contact me at ###-###-#### Sincerely Shaneka O [redacted] Customer Service Supervisor Slomin’s Inc
