Please see the earlier responseYes, NRA does have media, but there is no requirement that NRA be forced to run storiesAs for the tattoo, I have no knowledge of it although he himself seems to acknowledge his tattoo is offensiveHaving such a tattoo may not be beneficial for many reasons, including and especially those unrelated to the arrestThis is apparently a conversation he had with his attorney, who is not a NRA employee but is an attorney on our referral listHe needs to address that with his attorneyOtherwise, again, please see the original responseIf Revdex.com believes there is any validity to the complaint, please let us know

Before getting to the explanation I want to begin by stating we will be refunding the amounts paidPlease note, however, that one of the payments was rejected (reason unknown on our end) so the four charges that went through will be refunded.We are also going to comp each of the five individuals
for one yearHopefully they will enjoy a more positive experience going forward and will want to renew the membershipsWe will also send the bags.Membership begins the day of processing by NRAThere are reasons for this related to insurance and voting rights for MembersThese were processed on December and bags were ordered on December The bags have been on backorder as a result of the unexpectedly large number of orders we receivedBut, they are in the queue for the individualsThat should have been previously communicated.Processing on December would also have resulted in the first magazine arriving in JanuaryLabel information is pulled at certain times and, by 12/4, the cutoff was missedWhen that happens, though, it does not affect the total number of magazines received and every Member still gets a full year of magazinesApparently this was not explained well, or at all, to the individual who calledI apologize for the annoyanceHopefully, going forward, everyone enjoys their Memberships, magazines, and experience and decides to continue as NRA MembersWe are a voluntary membership organization and we work hard to keep our Members happyHopefully this will be the end result here.If you need anything else on my end, please let me know

*** *** was indeed solicited by our telemarketing partner and he authorized the charge of $for a Life Membership. He was also read the disclaimer that “all memberships, gifts, & contributions to the National Rifle Association of America are non-refundable, transferable, or
deductible for Federal income tax purposes.” The no-refund policy was decided by our Board of Directors which were voted on by our members at our Annual Meeting. Nobody that *** *** spoke with could authorize a refund. Once a dispute is initiated by the member with his/her bank then it is out of our hands to do anything further. NRA Member Services

His complaint is about a purchase made with *** ***, apparently a Revdex.com accredited businessThe complaint should be directed thereNRA Members receive a discount on purchases from this company but NRA cannot direct their business activities nor can we impose legal conclusions as to the effects
of federal law on them, which apparently is the core of the complaintPlease direct this complaint to the proper party Regarding the federal law at issue, the current administration has provided conflicting guidance, or no guidance, as to its effect in certain areasGiven the state of this law, many entities have taken similar approaches

I passed his concerns alongI believe this is the first complaint we've ever received about this companyBut, again, he bought from that company and that is where his complaint should beIf we were to direct this company to stop offering discounts to our members, I am sure other members would complainThen, if the discount program were reinstated, he would complain it was reinstatedIt would be circularWith nearly 5,000,members, there will be differences among themBut, as he stated, if he wishes to cancel his membership please let us knowWe do not want to lose a member but other members would lose a benefit if we told this third party to stop offering discountsFrankly, even if we told them to stop doing so they can offer discounts to anyone they wishNevertheless, and again, his complaint is with this third partyIf Revdex.com believes this complaint has any merit, please inform us, including as to the reasons why

In response to this complaint I forwarded the contact to our Membership Division this morningThey will add the number to the Do Not Call list todayThat should produce the desired resultPlease note that numbers to be called are selected in advance so it may take a couple of days to work any
planned calls out of the system.Although NRA, as a 501(c)(4) nonprofit organization, enjoys certain exemptions under the federal and various state do not call laws, we do not want to bother anyone not wanting to be contacted nor do we wish to waste resources doing soI apologize for any annoyance the *** household experienced

I forwarded the name and address, as provided, to our Membership division to be put on the internal promo kill fileThis should produce the desired resultMail pieces and addresses are selected in advance, often using bulk rates, so it is possible he may receive something else while this works its
way through the systemIf we end up getting a different name or a variant of the name or address in a subsequent list, it may not catch based on what was providedBut, if it happens he can contact us directly with the information, exactly as printed, to have it added to the list

Although it seems a typical response , it's a shame they couldn't communicate that to me when I wrote them, in addition, they told me it would be 5-days from the day they received my original order which was the 20th of Feb/ and as of today, its been daysThey were however very quick to cycle my credit card for payment! We'll see what happens.

Our response to this promotion has been overwhelming and the duffel bags are on a back-order of over 100,This bag has been ordered and we hope to have all back-ordered items delivered by mid-May at the latestTo help overcome the understandable annoyance, we extended this membership by
months at no extra chargeWe were quite shocked by the demand here and scrambled to find production that could get us the extra needed units in the shortest time possibleI apologize for any annoyance but please know we are clearing these orders out as quickly as possibleI hope this information proved helpful
