Thank you for allowing me to respond to Mr***'s Attorney General ComplaintAfter review of the documentation of the transaction dated on 10/16/for the purchase of a [redacted] I have found the following information to be true and correct.Mr [redacted] traded in two vehicles toward his purchase that day, a [redacted] ***, vin # [redacted] and a [redacted] vin# [redacted] I have enclosed a copy of several documents which are the basis for our decision with regards to this matterMr [redacted] has purchased several vehicles from us and we greatly appreciate his past and future businessIn one of his prior transactions Mr [redacted] had traded in a vehicle to us with no issuesThe transaction on 10/16/was conducted in the same mannerHowever, on this transaction Mr [redacted] was not at this time in an equity position on the vehicles he was trading inMr [redacted] as indicated on the vehicle invoice sheet, as well as the vehicle purchase agreement, received the total sum of $7,for the trade in value of the [redacted] and [redacted] **(see attached) This total credit for both vehicles was applied against his purchase price on the [redacted] Mr [redacted] had an outstanding lien against the [redacted] in the amount of $8,which needed to be satisfied in order for Fcillo Kia to receive a lien release on the vehicleAs part of this transaction the lien amount was added back into Mr***'s loan after the trade credit was appliedFcillo Kia sent a check in the amount of $8,to [redacted] Credit Union to satisfy this loan from the proceeds of Mr***'s new loan on the [redacted] he purchased(See attached)At this time I feel that the fact that Mr [redacted] had a negative balance on his trade vehicles of $1,has created the confusionHowever, our documentation which was signed and initialed by Mr [redacted] in several places show clearly that this was the way the transaction occurred and we are hoping that perhaps you can help him understand the differencePlease feel free to contact me at ###-###-#### if you have any further questions with regards to this matterSincerely, Pat B Fcillo Kia

[redacted] and [redacted] purchased a Chrysler Town & Country on 06/10/14, At the time of purchase the vehicle had 26,milesOn 07/18/14, the customer came back to our servicedepartment stating that the brakes were grindingWe resurfaced the rear rotors and replaced and resurfaced the front brakes as goodwill even though this was months and 6,miles after deliverywhich was way passed its brakes warranty and brake pads and rotors are maintenance items and therefore; not covered under warranty.On 09/19/the customers came again to our service department stating that there was a whining and grinding noiseAt this point the vehicle had 36,miles which means that it had beendriven 10,since we delivered the vehicle, and itwas months after purchasedHowever, we went ahead and replaced rear pads and cleaned the brake dust as goodwill once again even though it wasmaintenance items and not covered under any warranty.On 03/19/the customer came in stating that the brakes were making a grinding noiseShe was advised that she needed to replace the front pads and rotors on her vehicle and that it was unsafeto drive the vehicle under those conditions and that it would cost her $to get the work doneAt this time the vehicle had 48,miles which represents 22,miles and months since she took deliveryof the vehicleBrake pad and rotors are maintenance items and therefore the customer's responsibility.Sincerely, Robert RGeneral Manager

When Mr [redacted] took delivery of his new [redacted] everything seemed to be fine with the vehicleAs I recall Mr [redacted] also went over the vehicle with a fine tooth combWhen he told us there was a scratch on the rim a day or two later it seemed odd to us since our staff and Mr [redacted] thoroughly inspected the vehicleAfter making an attempt to repair the rim we did agree to replace the rim with a new one in the interest of good customer serviceWe also buffed a few minor scratches and at no time did we burn through the clearcoat finishAt some point after that Mr [redacted] complained there was still scratchesWe agreed to buff it againAlthough we could not see anything wrong with the vehicle we detailed it againWhen Mr [redacted] took possession of the vehicle this last time, there was nothing wrong with itAlthough we are grateful that Mr& Mrs [redacted] chose to purchase a vehicle from us, there is nothing more we can do satisfy themAgain, there was nothing wrong with the vehicle

Mr. [redacted] applied for credit online through our website on 03/26/15. By doingso, he authorized Fucdilo Hyundai of Greece and its agentsto check his credit for the purposeof obtaining financing on his behalf.On 03/29/15 Mr. [redacted] came to ourstore along with [redacted] with the... intentionsof purchasing an automobile. They both filled out a credit application which authorizes us tonot only runtheir credit but alsoto submit their applications to lenders inorder to helpthemget the terms and rates needed to complete the purchasing transaction.We submitted theirapplication to lenders based upon the authorization given to usbyvirtue ofthe signed creditapplication. It isour dutyto work hardat securing financing forourcustomers.The documentation signed byboth [redacted] and [redacted] is incompliance with regulation Z Truth-In-Lending Act.Sincerely,Robert R [redacted] General Manager

For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below: The statement made is one that I do not agree with. When I initially went in to look at cars just look to see what they had. They pushed on me and kept asking if I was excited about my new car. I was there from roughly 10 in the morning until almost seven at night without my knowledge they ran my credit with multiple lenders that I did not approve or want them to do. Also as for the warrantee I asked not to have that when they finally came back with paperwork saying that I was approved and getting my car. They then left came back and had taken off I believe a $1000 from the initial price of the car and put on the warantee. I would like for the matter to be resolved with what I said before but minus them giving me a car. I would like them to still pay off the remaining balence due plus $20,000 in damages for issues that I have gone through trying to refinance, the fact my radio quit working after six months and they would not fix it, the attitude I have gotten from the staff since I have purchased my car which has been unpleasant and so on. Mr [redacted] ***'s vehicle is currently registered in his name, We will certainly reach out to [redacted] finance to obtain a copy of the title for the customer, titles are not issued to the customer when a vehicle is leased the title are held by ***once fcillo kia receives the copy of the title from [redacted] we wll contact Mr[redacted] *** to come in and pick a copy
