They STOLE some of my furniture! I paid for this? Not only did my stuff arrive much later than I was initially told, they stole a large floor lamp.

Review: This company has been horrendous. I did a long distance move with them from [redacted] Once the delivery driver arrived at my home, him and his helpers began unloading items into my home that were not mine. I told them that and they argued with me. They had all of my items mixed up in the delivery truck with other shipments. The drivers excuse was the loading guys at the warehouse must have been drunk. One of the helpers then proceeded to ask me out. Several of my items were also damaged. My contract stated they were to put ALL furniture back together upon arrival. All of the men told me they had to go outside and would be right back in. I was with my children and after about ten minutes, went to check on them to realize that had just left without the job being completed. I called the driver and told him they needed to return and also needed to give me my receipt. He refused and never came back. I reported them to the company, Full House Movers. I also submitted and inventory sheet of all damaged items to the company. They assured me they would be in touch with me to have the issue resolved. It has now been well over a month and I can not get a response from anyone there. I had several items broken, missing table legs, missing bed hardware, etc. It has been the worst experience I have ever had with a moving company. The customer service has been terrible and not lived up to their end of our signed contract. In addition to everything above, they also highly over charged from their original bid. They told me either pay it, or we will keep your items.Desired Settlement: I would like them to fulfill their end of the contract by paying replacement cost of the items they destroyed. My bed is a $1,500 bed frame that has not been able to be put together due to the company losing the hardware. It's specialty hardware so it's not like something I can just replace at [redacted]

Review: I received a quote over the phone, it included all of the items that were being moved. The quote was $2410.41. To cut the cost, a large sofa bed couch, kitchen chairs, end table, toys, and bed were sold. Upon delivery, we had to pay $3663.50 or we could not receive our items. It should have been less! Upon unpacking, the movers had used extremely large boxes and put a few items in each. Took up 1/4 of the box. then they filled 3 of those large boxes with trash bags from the kitchen. Full of garbage. They even emptied the vaccuum cleaner bag in one of them that exploded in my face when I opened the box. All of these large boxes used up more room in the truck, that is why I was told it cost more than the original quote. Too many things to mentioned were broken. Even the bikes. They put weights in a lg box with the dvd blue ray player. no packing. the player was broken. The movers dropped the wet bar down the stairs and broke it. I filed a claim. They just offered me $74 for the bar and nothing else, although we had pictures of broken lamps, figurines, ....everything. The claim was filed in Sept.of 2014. I was told, by law, that they had 120 days to respond. they did not. after several emails and calls, they responded that by law, they get another 30 day extension. When that was up, I received no return emails. When I called is when they sent me the $74 offer and said that I HAD 30 DAYS TO DISPUTE IT. I want 150 days too. I asked for $1953.00 and was offered $74!!! They stated only things that were packed by them are covered. My daughter did pack some of the things, and did a much better job than they did. But a lot of the things that were broken WERE packed by them. Not packed, just put in a box, no packing. They actually put a lamp inside of the wetbar cabinet. unpacked. I will now need money for pain and suffering as well. Thank you.Desired Settlement: I would like my $1953.00 that was claimed, if not the full amount of $3663.53 back for gross negligence and false advertisement. Using garbage and almost empty boxes to use more cubic feet to charge by. And for breaking about 1/3 of everything.

As a real estate broker for 27 years and a nationally known consumer advocate; if you EVER use Full House movers you do so at your own risk. Their uber friendly salesperson [redacted] promised a full house move, and they didn't deliver.
What's more incredible is that on the other end of the move, they only had 2 people to help move us in. We had to rent an extra uhaul trailer since everything didn't fit in their truck, buy a trailer hitch and now are left with multiple broken items including a 55 inch flat screen TV, custom art, a popped sleep number bed which they rolled up instead of using the appropriate mattress coverings and overcharged us without any negotiation.
When they asked for payment, we were still sitting with unpacked items in our home which we had to figure out how to get moved.
It's unconscionable. And they've offered absolutely NO compensation for the breakage, overcharges or lies they told when we booked the move.
Not done complaining about this!

We just moved this weekend and this was our first time using a moving company. I called a few other places to get the low-down on costs and such, and one other place actually answered the phone, but they were such a hard sell (and didn’t pay attention to the details during our conversation) that I decided not to bother with them. Full House Movers were very straight-forward, and they did not do the hard sell at all. In the end, they ended up being cheaper than the other places (that all said they were the cheapest), and the service was phenomenal.
At precisely the agreed-upon time, three big guys showed up. They worked fast, and considering that they had two flights of stairs to work with, I was VERY impressed. They treated my more delicate things with gentleness and care, and were very patient with me during the whole process, which I imagine could be hard to do when it’s hot outside, and your lugging someone else’s stuff up and down stairs all day.
When they unloaded my stuff into the apartment, they didn’t just drop it all in one spot, they took care to deliver the boxes and furniture to their appropriate rooms and they even helped me set up the bed again. These guys were magnificent and I HIGHLY recommend their services to anyone in this area needing moving assistance. Thanks guys!!!

This was my first time using a professional moving company and I was so scared to commit to something that was such a big deal I almost moved myself... however after some research into a self move vs. a professional move, I decided that the professional move was within my budget and the amount of satisfied reviews I saw made me confident in my decision to book with Full House Movers. The salesperson was very informative and helpful and made me comfortable in the choice I was making without seeming like the thousand other sales people that called me pushing me and trying to earn my business. The day the movers showed up, they were very professional and went above and beyond and exceeded my expectations. I've read horror stories and have had a few friends tell me about unpleasant experiences with other companies but I experienced nothing but professionalism with this company and would definitely recommend Full House Movers to anyone looking for a mover!

Review: Contracted with for moving my furniture from Sacramento, California to Northville, Michagin to be delivered on anytime after the 4th of December. When I paid the $300 I set the earliest delivery date as December 3rd. After picking the stuff up and taking another $700 on November 20th. They claimed that the wanted to deliver on the on November 28th, that they attempted to delive. I was not at home, I said the 3rd was the earlist delivery date. The claimed a person named "[redacted]" signed for the 21st and they want an additinal $4000 in advance of delivery by December 9th, else they will auction my stuff. Everything I own is in that truck including my medications and monitoring equipment.Desired Settlement: Get my stuff

We are no longer replying to complaints with the Revdex.com as we have experienced a biased treatment ending in revoking our Revdex.com accreditation due to us not willing to do something that is against our contract with the client. But I will make an exception as this client seams to not understand a simple fact, he needs to take possession of his items and pay his balance. This client was not available to accept delivery although his wife placed on the paperwork that she is ready for delivery right away, he confirmed he is ready right away as well verbally through the phone with our lead Forman. At this point we have sent an SIT conversion converting the items from storage in transit to long term storage allowing us to place a lien on his items (he has received a notice for that as well) and now we have sent an auction notice. The customer MUST pay his balance and take his items from storage as we have completed transport on our end. Anyone misleading him to do otherwise will be in fault of his items being sold in a public auction and him losing all of his life possessions. We are following all necessary regulations and are only concerned this client will wake up once it’s too late.

Consumer

Response:

I am rejecting this response because:when I contracted with them and paid the deposit the earliest delivery date was December 3rd. I confirmed verbally that I had a delivery location, but NOT the earliest delivery to be November 21st, especially if they picked up the items on November 20th! The claimed the attempted to deliver, all they did was call, I couldn't take the call for being a meeting, when I contacted them they started attacking and threating me. I still don't know what I did to receive this action, when I asked for them to deliver the threatened more and refused to set a delivery time, and then stated I owed them and have to pay them in advance and they won't deliver! I call the driver back for their claimed delivery he said they couldn't find the address even after asking the postman, so the postman couldn't find the address! I have paid them $1000 in advance and the are blackmailing me for more money to receive a key for where they claim they stored my items, but they won't deliver! How can I pay more in advance without receiving my items? They are acting like they own are selling me my own items! They are so unprofessional they sent me emails with wrong names and facts, I don't believe they ever intended to deliver, once they took possession of the items, they started harassing and blackmailing me. How can the get a window of 72 hours to pick up and 14 days to deliver from the earliest delivery date of December 3rd, and according to them attempted to deliver once, they never claimed any other times, and now the own my items.

Response:

This move was picked-up on 11/20/15, at which time his wife “[redacted]” completed the long distance forms with the 1st available date for delivery as 11/21/15; however, he is arguing stating that it’s not correct, as is stating that his wife’s name is not “[redacted]”, and further stated that he didn’t authorize this 1st date for delivery. Regardless of what he says, the person who signed off on everything at the pick-up was very specific in stating that delivery needs to be ASAP. That someone was there already to accept delivery and to send it out right away. After receiving this information our truck left California that same day.Our standard procedure is to call the customer 24 hours prior to arrival at the delivery location. The customer did not answer a single one of our phone calls. [redacted] had attempted to reach out to him, the driver attempted to reach out to him, as well as Itay, at which time the move was placed into storage because we could not contact the customer and our driver could not just sit around and wait endlessly for the customer to answer his phone.During the dealings with Itay, he states we’re wrong, he doesn’t know a “[redacted]” and that’s not his wife. However, that is the name that was signed on the paperwork/contract upon pick-up and those were the requested delivery dates that were written on our contracts.Itay forwarded everything to him showing the dates as outlines, and he has refused to cooperate.Because of the extra costs incurred by unloading into storage, paying for a storage unit, and needing to load into a truck again and deliver it to him, there will be additional charges to the customer outside of the original Bill of Lading.Mr. [redacted] also has not completed the first 50% of the move balance due (as required by contract) at the time of pick-up. However, as they wanted immediate delivery, we went ahead and placed this move onto the transport truck as a courtesy, as they were ready immediately, and advised the amount due on delivery and was acknowledged by “[redacted]”.I sent him the conversion notice and he replied (see attached) that he would pay on 12/04/15, which he did not.I followed up with the Lien Notice on 12/29/15 advising of preparation of auction, to which he responded with the attached email.Regards[redacted]

Review: Never received confirmation call as promised 1-2 days before move date. I had to call and confirm the day before. I was called back by another person and told that everything was fixed and fine. Turns out the schedule was NOT as we requested and we were not told our request was not able to be fulfilled until the morning of the move. Morning of move no call, waited and waited. Finally called the office and was told that my request wasn't processed and the movers would be there between 1-3 hours from then. Given excuses but in essence there is a disconnect between the people who book the moves in the office and the people who set the schedule. This lack of communication caused us to be sitting around in 90deg weather waiting for the truck to arrive. Movers arrive and I am asked to sign things that are blank, which is unacceptable. I was initially not given time to read the contract and then told that things "mean" something that is not what it said. I think whoever trained the movers did not explain the contracts very well and just said "get them to sign these spots" and since most people do not read the contract it hasn't been a problem for them. One document was explained to mean one thing (and I was asked to sign it blank!) but after I read it and pointed it out, he begrudgingly agreed that it meant something completely different and I didn't sign it until after they unloaded. It was a "not to exceeds" document meaning I should have filled in a time/price that they should not run over, instead he wanted it blank to fill in after he was done. I said it said "services requested" and "estimated costs" so it was to be filled in before. If it was an actual cost it would have been "services rendered" and "actual costs". The mover was very upset that * wouldn't sign this blank document and allow him to add any number later. We finally reached a point where they would allow me to sign the blank spot AFTER it was filled in, and they started loading.Desired Settlement: Please warn other potential customers about the issues with this business, so they may avoid doing business with them.

Review: The movers scratched our brand new wood flooring and broke numerous iteams they packed! The issue is that the floor will cost us over $2000. 00 to have repaired. Their head mover acknowledged that they did it and would have it repaired, yet the company will not return my calls. The iteams they broke is just done in carelessness, but the flooring must be replaced or repaired. Please help us.Desired Settlement: They pay for the damaged flooring!

Review: I hired Full House Movers to move my furniture from my old address to my new address. Prior to the move I explained to their representative that handles the companies moving quotes that I had a very large bed and that would be difficult to move. She assured me that they have moved all types of large beds and that it wouldn't be a problem so she took my information and confirmed the movers would move me on June 30, 2015. The movers arrived and had a difficult time disassembling the bed but finally was able to take it apart. When we arrived at the new place [redacted], ** and [redacted] the movers put the frame of the bed together and when I saw it I told them the the bed was to far away from the wall. The movers refused to listen and insisted that they knew what they were doing. After the movers had assembled the bed it was sitting directly in the middle of the bedroom leaving a space behind the bed as large as a hallway. The bed is so close to the sliding glass door that I can't utilize the sliding glass door or the drawers underneath the bed on the left side. In addition the bed is so close to the TV that's situated in front of the bed you have to squeeze between the bed and the TV just to get over to the other side of the bed. It's a disaster. I have been contacted the company so many time I have lost count and have been told that the receptionist, supervisor and manager was going to return my calls, I even spoke to the manager and he promised me he would call me back that evening and never did. I have been patient all I asked was that they come back and properly assemble my bed so I can sleep in it instead of on the couch and they lie and ignore my request to properly reassemble the bed.Desired Settlement: I would just like them to come and disassemble the bed and place it up against the back wall instead of the middle of my bedroom so I don't have a space behind my bed as big as a hallway and so I can utilize the sliding glass doors and drawers underneath my bed without having to squeeze by the TV situated in the front of my be to get by. That's all I want is to be able to move around my bed comfortably, utilize my sliding glass door/drawers underneath the bed and have room between the bed/TV.

To whom it may concern,We have provided the client with the relocation service and placed everything in the room of their choice in the requested location. After the move was completed, the client called in that she would like the bed moved. unfortunately this is after then move was completed and the team had already left. we do have a 3 hour minimum on all service calls and were willing to waive that and end a team for one hour charge for them to move the bed to her desired location. the client refuses to pay anything extra therefore we are unable to send a team back to move additional items.

Response:

I am rejecting this response because: I have call Full House Movers so many time I stop counting repeatedly being promised that the manager was going to return my call which the manager failed to comply. I have spoken to Samantha which was the person who originally confirmed the date that the move was to take place on June 30, 2015. [redacted], ** and [redacted] did put the bed in the bedroom but in the process of assembling the bed I told them when they put the frame up that the bed was to far away from the wall and one of the men insisted that it wasn't to far away from the wall and refused to listen assembling the bed anyway. When they were done the bed was sitting directly in the middle of the bedroom leaving a pathway as large as a hallway behind my bed, placing the bed so close to the sliding glass door that I can't utilize the sliding glass door or the drawers on the left side of the bed and the bed bed is so close to the TV that's situated in front of the bed that I have to squeeze by to get to the other side of the room it's a disaster. One I called and caught the Manager of Full House Movers by surprise during our conversation I invited him to come out for himself and take a look at how they assemble my bed and left it in the middle of the bedroom he didn't except my invitation but he promised me he was going to call me back that evening and never did. When I didn't receive a call from the manager I called Full House Movers on Friday 7/31/2015 and no one answered the phone and I left a voice message on their answering machine letting them know if the manager didn't return my call I was going to file a complaint and I gave them until Monday once again to respond and no one called so I filed a complaint with the Revdex.com. Never at anytime has anyone contacted me to resolve any situation regarding my bed at any time. The Manager is lying and needs to be professional and responsible for the mistake that his company has made and try to resolve this problem at the lowest level instead of allowing it to escalate.

Response:

to whom it may concern,we have provided the client with claim info and she will need to move forward with a claim if she believes she is entitled for any form of restitution for them to look into

Consumer

Response:

I am rejecting this response because: In addition to my first response that the manager never returned on of my calls and never called me offering me the opportunity to pay more money for him to resolve the problem. I feel that I shouldn't have to pay them any more than what I paid. I was quoted a price of $330.00 but because it took Full House Movers so long to disassemble and reassemble my bed I ended up paying the and addition $440.00 not including a $60.00 tip that I gave to the three men totaling 500.00 in cash. I kept the email of how much is was suppose to cost me for the move and I also have the receipt of how much I paid the Full House Movers. If you really want to know who's telling the truth just request a copy of his phone bill for his company calls for the month of July 2015 and you will see that he never contact me via phone. I know I can furnish mine phone bill regarding how many times I contacted his company in an attempt to solve this problem.

Review: My experience with Full House Movers started out positive with customer service being reassuring to my concerns with my move. Once the moving truck left my house everything went downhill. To start, they quoted me 4 weeks to delivery and showed up 6 weeks later without an explanation. They didn't even know where the truck was that had all of my belongings. They were unable to provide me with a timely estimate of arrival, and as I had already started a new job in Chicago this was incredibly frustrating. They gave me less than a 24 hour notice that the driver would be arriving the next day (a Friday). I had to take an unexpected day off of work to accommodate their schedule. They also informed me that I would have to pay a $700 fee for delivering the goods because they would have to load it into a smaller truck. When I originally signed the paperwork, I talked to the supervisor of my new building in which he authorized this size moving truck to park in front of the building and said that many trucks do that during moves. I informed the driver I would not pay this $700 charge as this is ridiculous and was told I would not have to pay this. He refused to deliver my things until I paid this charge. I kept calling to speak with the manager and finally they lowered it to $350 (even though it SAYS ON THE CONTRACT $350 each way, and this would have only been one way anyway). This was such a scam, because I still had to pay $350 and they made it seem like this was half off. After I had to go and get CASH from the ATM because they were holding my items hostage, they proceeded to unload the goods. One box after another was completely smashed. The moving men had a complete disregard for the well being of the items, and this was very apparent. They accidentally dropped the giant box on the ground that contained the glass top to my dining room table. Since the insurance only pays 60 cents per pound (which comes out to a whopping $6) I ended up actually PAYING to have them move a smashed dining room tableDesired Settlement: I would like to be refunded the $350 for the unexpected "smaller truck" payment and the cost I incurred to replace many of my items, totaling around $500 (dining room table, damaged piano, and missing power cord to piano (unable to replace)).

Response:

Fullhouse Movers delivered within the timeframe of the contract. On the Long Distance Move Information page that was filled out and signed by the customer, it states that there are up to 21 business days from the first available date to receive delivery. The quote also states “Delivery: Please note that regulations state that we guarantee delivery within 30 business days of first available day of delivery. Our average time is 14 business days.”The customer was provided with an estimated delivery timeframe when she called for a deliveryupdate. It was explained that the driver will call when he’s 24 hours away to schedule the exact delivery time with the customer and until then, we can only provide an estimated delivery window. We always knew where the customer's belongings were located, either in our warehouse or on the truck. We just could not provide the customer with an exact date they would arrive early on in the delivery process. The driver did call a few hours less than our standard 24 hours ahead of time to schedule the delivery. We offered to have him wait a couple of hours to accommodate the 24 hour notice. The customer's delivery location was not large enough for the moving truck to park and unload. Therefore the driver had to rent a smaller truck to deliver. The Long Distance Move Information page that the customer filled out and signed states that if a shuttle is needed, the charge is $700. We discounted it down to $350. It does not state anywhere on the contract that a shuttle is $350 each way (please see attached).

Review: Movers provided an estimate based on square footage of items as provided over the phone, and we were given a rate of $2200 over the phone based on square footage. After items were picked up by the movers, a bill was sent electronically for $4379. We were told our items would not be shipped until 1/2 of the balance was paid. Initially the company said this huge difference was because of the weight, but when I mentioned that we were going by square footage as per the original estimate, they said that my husband upon pick up had stated we should go by weight (this was an outright lie). When I complained about the nearly double the price of the estimate, they stated that the weight price was actually cheaper then the square footage price, though they state they never took the square footage, and so on. They offered a minimal discount of $300, but I believe this ti be the typical movers scam that one reads about all of the time. I trusted the Revdex.com ranking when I chose this company and I am very disappointed that we have not been able to come to come to a reasonable resolution.Desired Settlement: I would like the company to honor their initial estimate and/or give a reasonable deduction. I would be willing to pay $3000, but not nearly double the original estimate. I would like the company to settle this in a timely manner so our belongings can be shipped ASAP.

To whom it may concern,We did an initial quote for the client based on an average of 3,000 LBS due to the client not being present at the house to provide with a detailed inventoryThe quote from the beginning was based on a non binding per pound estimate 3003 pounds @ .95 C per pound with a 13% fuel totaling an estimate of $3223.72. On load date the customer requested in writing and signed for a non binding revised estimate based on 4,200 LBS that was filled up right away through a visual survey prior to PRIOR to loading. The load was taken to a certified guaranteed truck scale and weighed before and after at a total of 4,080 LBS @ .95 C per pound + 13% fuel ==> 4379.88. For some reason there were payment issues and the 50% payment (due on pickup and prior to shipment) was declined by our credit card merchant. as I explained to the client, this payment will need to be taken care of asap in order to avoid any delivery delays. We will be willing to offer a gesture of good faith in the total of $379.88 to the client that will require a signature on a satisfactory release.

Review: First off thank you for your time and services in protecting people in a very unique and helpful way.I hired Full house movers. they Picked up all of my personal belongings (including my transportation) on Sep 15th 2015. The contract stated and employes verbalized that the trip takes up to 14 business days. I have been in my apartment since October 7th, it is now October 20th and I have not heard from the delivery drivers to know where they are and I have been consistently trying to get in communication with their customer service and management. I have spoken to a customer service rep [redacted] who has attempted to help, but has not done much to locate my items. I asked for a price reduction but at this point I have no desire to pay them at all. Horrible service and zero communication. They should be put out of business.Desired Settlement: I would like to have the rest of my charges comped because I have been loosing money not having my things as my bike (main use of transportation) is in the truck. I have been paying to use public transportation which is not in my budget. I owe them over $500. they also charge for flights of stairs that I would need comped as well. over all I would like them to finish their job and deliver my belongings that I entrusted them with.

To whom it may concern, we have moved Carly on 1-8-15 everything she requested was moved and delivered as well as put in place and assembled.[redacted] has signed everything was received (as you can find in attached paperwork) per our regulations we offered the client although she only called in on Monday(11 days after her move) claiming she has a missing [redacted]. We also questioned the team and checked the truck to find we most defiantly do not have the phone. We advised the client to file a police report if she believes something was stolen from her house and recommend to check other options as well, as many things can happen in 11 days.

Response:

I am rejecting this response because: the two movers were the only ones that had excess to my furniture no one else was in the house.they took everything that was in the box expect the box.. this was a brand new unlocked phone and was planning to have it activated and that is why I found it missing when I did.I have filed a complain with the sheriffs office and also I contacting [redacted] as I have the model and serial number of the phone and if it has bee activated any where they will be able to tell

Full House Movers were courteous and professional throughout our move. They were right on-time and took great care with all of our personal belongings. Their final cost was competitive and we are glad we chose them to help us move. We are very happy with how stress-free the move was, and how careful the movers were with our furniture. Everything is in the same condition as it was before, and this is much better service than we've received from past moving companies. I would recommend them to anyone who is planning to move. Great job to you all. Everything went great from beginning to end. The movers were exceptional. I would not hesitate in recommending Full House Movers to any family or friends that may be moving.

Review: Regarding [redacted]:On March 27th I signed an 'electronic contract' with Full House Movers hereafter referred to as FHM to come to my house at [redacted] on June 8th to move my household furniture to [redacted]., [redacted]6. I paid $300 dollars to 'reserve' the moving truck. On June 8th I called FHM a half hour (8 a.m.) before they arrived to make sure they were on schedule. They told me there was a computer "glitch" and they would not be there until the following day, June 9th. This distressed me because effective 5:00 p.m. 6/8 my home belonged to another person. I called my r.e. agent who contacted the buyer agent, who called the buyer to see if we should delay the closing date. We collectively worked out a deal where my wife who is disabled and I would move our household (on a day that was 105 degrees)to the garage. As compensation to the new owner I helped him move his belongings into the house and garage right after putting our belongings into the garage. Then we sought overnight lodging elsewhere. On June 9th the moving crew showed up and wrapped up and loaded our belongings. [redacted], asked me when I would first like my belongings delivered to SC, I said 6/15. At this point [redacted] provided me a numbers of documents to sign which included a handwritten inventory list which could not be read as well as documents that spelled out additional costs I could face. This document also stated they could take up to 21 business days from 6/15 to deliver my goods. I have called numerous times to see when my goods might be delivered and they have never returned my calls. As of 7/6 I have not heard anything from them. Please review the following link that reviews FHM customers as I think it is an accurate viewpoint of their business practices: [redacted]. My concerns are too numerous to list in the space provided so I will send a subsequent complaint form.Desired Settlement: To have my belongings delivered without further delay or cost.

It has been 42 days since my furniture was picked up in California and yet to be delivered to South Carolina. I have contacted Full House Movers (FHM) several times and have not received a satisfactory response. If I am told that someone will contact me and follow up it has never happened. I originally filed a complaint with Revdex.com on 7/6 and FHM responded on 7/8 to contact [redacted] as to when my furniture would be delivered. She told me either Sat. July 18th or Sun. July 19th. On Monday July 20th I called FHM when they opened on the West Coast and asked why I had yet to receive my furniture and why I have not received a courtesy call for the delay. In 8 hours they were unable to call me to tell me where the driver was or when I might expect delivery. Because of the delay I have been forced to buy a bed I did not need, furniture I did not need, a television I did not need, pots, pans, etc. I did not need. South Carolina requires new residents to register their vehicles within 30 days or face fines. I arrived in SC on June 14th and today is 8 days past that deadline. The paperwork required includes proof of citizenship, i.e. birth certificate which is in a safe in FHM's possession. Will FHM pay my fines, or am I required to lie to DMV and backdate my arrival effective when my furniture eventually shows up to avoid the fines? I feel that once FHM received payment for moving that I am no longer relevant and worthy of a simple courtesy like a phone call that specifically tells me where my household is and when I will receive it. If I owned their business I would make my outstanding clients a priority over new ones. Sadly, that is not the business priority of this company. Anyone considering doing business with FHM should heed my warning and not use this callous profit driven company as a resource.I would like to have my furniture delivered today. Barring that I would like someone with authority within that organization to actually contact me by phone and give me a specific date and time within the next two days when my stuff will be delivered. I would like a substantial refund, not the paltry $30 per day, for the chaos and pain they have caused me. I have spent an amount commensurate with the cost of them moving my goods to replace items I did not need to.

I am a person who believes that whatever you do it should be done right. Full House Movers is the best and there are no words to describe them but just excellent and efficient. I have moved in the past with other companies but none were as efficient as Full House Movers. As soon as I spoke to the company sales person I knew that this would be the company that would move my things. They offered the best packing, sturdy boxes and even double wrapped the fragile stuff with bubble wrap to insure nothing got damaged. And the best part was that the packers arrived on time on the day of our move and they were so fast with their work. There was a lot of heavy furniture that made me question if these guys would be able to lift and move everything. Well, I was wrong! They managed the entire move with absolute ease. We had no problems what so ever. My things arrived in excellent condition and there was no damage at all. When we were unloading at my new place my neighbor came over and commented on how well everything was wrapped up and packed. To be honest Full House Movers is the truly the best and I would recommend them to everyone.

Review: Full House Movers is a bait and switch moving company with an F rating on Revdex.com site. But when we checked prior to booking them [redacted], the bubbly customer service gal who did our bid over the phone promised a "full house move" which we did not get, she promised 4 guys, she promised they would pack everything (they didn't), she stated they would chain the truck if there was snow (which there was and they didn't) she promised they would move all furniture into the new home and re-assemble (they didn't) and after unpacking and removing the blankets from the furniture ourselves we found many high end items damaged or broken beyond repair, missing items etc.

We immediately filed a complaint with them which they punted immediately over to their useless, bait and switch insurance company and admitted no wrongdoing.

Even in light of my having video's, photos, and recorded phone conversations making promises which were never fulfilled.

On the first leg of the move, we asked the movers to wear booties so as not to put stains on the white carpets. THey refused, and got the carpets stained and dirty. In our new home they scratched the brand new hardwood floors causing us extreme distress.Desired Settlement: We originally asked for a 50% refund, but now we've gotten bids to repair the sleep number bed which they popped, repair our custom art and frames, there is no repair possible for the 55" flatscreen, we spent 350.00 having the full sized grand piano moved by a separate company because dumb and dumber from full house movers were not able to move the piano themselves up our stairs.

Now, to compensate for our losses I believe we are due a full refund.

I recently used Full House Movers for a move in Sacramento and from my first phone call to the last box delivered into my new apartment they were fantastic. I have lived in the city over 10 years and have moved several times in that span and never has a move been so painless. I have used the bigger guys before and not only was Full House Movers much better priced they were also simply better. The customer service manager was easy to coordinate with over the phone and via email and the moving crew was polite, efficient and most importantly considerate with my belongings. I will definitely use Full House Movers again. Thanks Full House for making something which is always stressful a little less so.

Full House Movers really came through for us when we were in a tough spot, and turned what could have been an awful situation into a stress-free one.

Long story short, my roommate and I had used Full House Movers to move into our last apartment and were happy with them, but opted to save a few bucks with this last move and go with a smaller company. These other guys showed up hours late and then decided they couldn’t finish the job that day so they just left.

Luckily, we called Full House Movers and they got us a date just a few days later. They came early, brought more guys than they said they would, and took less time than they estimated. Nothing was broken, no problems were caused.

The kicker? When it was all said and done, the professionals at Full House Movers were CHEAPER than what that other company was going to charge us.

Lesson learned. I don’t intend to move again for a very long time, but if and when I do, Full House Movers is the only company for me.
