Review: I called to file a dispute on Furniture Mecca on march 29,2014. Im filing the dipsute because I purchased furniture on Feb 17,2014 for $859. At the time of the purchase I asked the sales person how long for delivery and I was informed it would take 2 weeks. On march 4, 2014 I called Furniture Mecca at 215-877-1200 and was told to call 215-352-1600 with questions concerning my delivery. I called that number and it said all representatives are busy and the line went dead. This went on for about another week or so with no results or questions being answered. On march 18th, 2014 I sent an email to [email protected] concerning my furniture or delivery and no response was sent. A month has passed with no results. On march 22, 2014 I sent my mother to get me a refund. She was informed that they were waiting for the headboard to deliver the furniture and that it would be delivered that week. If it was not delivered I would receive a refund. This is what the manager said to my mother. The week comes and goes and no furniture is deliverd. on March 29, 2014 I go to ask for a refund and was told I would not receive a refund because it was against store policy and that they were waiting for the headboard and foot board. But just a week ago it was just the headboard they were waiting for, the situation became worse when another couple came in also concerned about the furniture that they paid for and did not receive. Apparently this is how they operate. I canclled the order and filed the dispute to get my money back. I should receive a refund because it was well over a month with no deleivery or no communication about the furnitture. As of the May 19,2014 I have yet to receive my refund. I filed a dispute with my card for the purchase and I'm still waiting, almost 2 months, for this situation to be resolved. I feel like I been robbed.Desired Settlement: I just would like my $859 back that I paid for the furniture that was never delivered to me. How can you take my money and not deliver the prodcut than say there are no refunds? That is beyond ridiculous.

Review: I purchased a sofa and a love seat and was charged $50.00 for delivery which was a day late. When the delivery came I noticed there was a factory defect in the material as it is freying and there is a bald spot on the cushion of the love seat. I was told by the delivery driver to make a note of it on the delivery slip which I did and that someone would get back to me as to how to go about it. I havent heard anything and decided to call the warehouse. I spoke with [redacted] who said that she would look into it and get back to me. The last I heard from [redacted] she said that she was going to mail me out a new cushion and that it should be there as of Wednesday I think it was the 4th of Feburary however I am not sure of the date. I explained to [redacted] that the cushion is not replacable as it is attached to the love seat and not removable. Again she said that she was going to talk to her manage about this as she wasnt sure and get back to me. That was the week of the 10th. I have called [redacted] the week of the 18th through the 22nd which was a Saturday and left many many messages and have still not heard back with a status or some sort of update in regards to my love seat. As of today the 26th I still havent heard back as my calls are NOT being returned.Desired Settlement: I would like for Mecca Furniture to refund me the $50.00 for delivery which again was a day late, and also to either repair or replace my love seat, due to the factory defect of the material.

Review: On February 8, 2014, I was told by [redacted], the delivery coordinator that my delivery would be after 3pm and that I would hear from the drivers as to what time they would be arriving. When I didn't hear from the driver,I called [redacted] at 3pm and told her and she said they would be at my home this evening. When the drivers had not called by 5pm, I tried to call her and there was no answer. I then called the Furniture Mecca store where I purchased the furniture and told [redacted], what was going on. He then tried to reach [redacted] with no avail. He then contacted the drivers and he told me that the driver would call me in 10 minutes. I had not received a call or a delivery. The next morning, I had a message on my phone left by the delivery truck driver [redacted] at 2107 to inform me that my delivery would be between 0800-1200 on Sunday. At about 1000, [redacted] called to say that my home was not on his GPS. He called several times asking for directions. I sent directions to home and he still became lost. I had to leave my home to go meet him. When he followed me back, he refused to come into the military housing, saying that he didn't know he would have to pass through a gate guard. I tried to tell [redacted] that the instillation s not guarded, he turned around and drove off. I had to call the furniture store to call him while I was racing behind him to get him to pull over and give me my furniture. We were 5 miles from the house before he pulled over. I had to beg him to come to my house to bring me my furniture. The delivery was an awful mess.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of my delivery fees.

Review: well ,I brought 3 pc. livingroom set, sofa loveseat&chair and the chair kept making a little noise when I rock in it as it is a rocker/recliner,and when its in recliner position if you move at all it sounded like something clacking or something loose. after calling them they sent somebody out ;I had the chair for 3 mths before calling them as the sound got worse after a while&the person that came to look at it said that he thought it was the bushings&that shouldn't have went bad in three months,but basically they are saying they cant get the part so I am stuck with the chair&i told them well I shouldn't have to be getting a brand new chair fixed already,that cant they just take this one&send me another one &she(nicki)said no there is nothing else they can do,but try to get the piece from another company,it has been a month since they sent someone out& they never called to tell me anthing I always had to call there.also on my receipt it says free recliner im not sure why it says that as I went back the next day &paid a 100.00 to add the chair.Desired Settlement: to give me another chair or can I return the whole set for a refund because who would buy a set for almost 1000.00 dollars for it to break in 3 months

Review: On March 8, 2013, I and my family, in preparation for an event to be held at our house on March 10, 2013, drove into this Business center and paid for 2 (two) pieces of sofa along with 1 (one) set of love seats. We paid $1,320.00 in cash and $480.00 on my wife's credit card, (total payment of $1,800.00 -One Thousand and Eight Hundred Dollars). We informed the Sales person about our event and inquired if they were sure of delivering the items on the following day (Saturday, 3/9/2013). Not only did he say yes, but he also wrote it on our receipt, # [redacted].

The furniture were not delivered as agreed. I made numerous contacts with the store on Saturday but they told me that they have changed their mind against the deal that they offered me and requested that I either go back for my money or pay additional $600.00 (Six Hundred Dollars) for the package that was already sold to me. He claimed that his "boss" at headquarters did not agree to dispatch my package. I informed him that I had cleared my house of the old furniture in anticipation of the new set and that I would feel very hurt if he did not deliver my furniture as purchased. The guy insisted that I go for my money. I refused to go for my money and I decided to contact a Lawyer but my son advised me to contact you, Revdex.com. I therefore seek your intervention.Desired Settlement: I desire full delivery of the package that I paid for. Additionally, I desire payment for damages for inconveniences caused me for my occasion hled on 3/10/13, for which I was preparirng the house.

Review: I purchase a sectional sofa on July 7 20014 and I paid for delivery and set up. It was deliver on July 9 2014 the men came and to set it up however one piece is on the floor.The worker the warehouse customer services about the problem. He said to me if I can not wait, I was told that I can go to the store,get the set off the sectional there and drill then on. I told them no I paid for you to do it so he replied by saying I will be the first stop in the morning. Then on July 10,20014 I call the customer services to see when they going to send out somebody to bring and put on the legs. All I got was a bunch of lies, I call the store the same thing. I can not sit home everyday waiting on them. I have health issues plus they ignoring my calls at both places. I feel like the should be made to pay me for the time I wasted waiting on them. I had to move in Feb 1,2014 after living in one place 11 years, I save up to get a sectional and I was so happy when it finally happen. Now I feel disappointed about because of the way it arrive and the way I am being treated.Desired Settlement: For me to have the legs to my sectional, and to be compensated for the time I spent at home. And and apology for the way I was treated

Review: My husband and I purchased an electrical reclining sectional from this company on Friday March 14, 2014 and was told it would be delivered in a couple days. This sectional is a floor model which my husband and I tested at the store and everything was fine and working how it should. A few days passed and we did not hear anything from the store so we decided to call the customer service number at ###-###-#### and spoke with [redacted] the customer service manager. She told us that delivery is 5-10 days and that she will check on the status. We did not hear back from her so I called back two days later and she informed me that the electrical cord for the sectional is not working and that they have to wait for the manufacturer to send a new cord. At that point I told her we needed a refund because we are not able to wait for that. She told me that all sales are as is and final as stated on receipt. I said to her that's why we should get a refund because she is saying there is an issue with the product that wasn't present at the time of purchase, so therefore the product is not as is or as we saw it in the store so we should be refunded...this conversation was on March 20, 2014. On Monday March 24, she called to say that they have a brand new product for us which is from a different store and that it will be delivered on March 25. We did not receive this delivery and no one contacted us. This company is refusing to refund us although they are at fault and there is no other manager available to speak to other than this [redacted] person. My husband and I are upset and frustrated, we don't want anything to do with this company, we just need our refund back. Payment was made by both credit and debit cards. Thank you.Desired Settlement: Total funds paid to this company is $1300, of this amount $650 came off my credit card and $650 came off my husband's debit card. We need this company to keep there faulty product and give us a full refund immediately. We have been greatly inconvenienced by them. Thank you.

This is an update to complaint #[redacted]. The electrical sectional was delivered to my home without one of the power packs. So I'm unable to operate the sectional fully. I was told it would be delivered the next day. It has now been over four days...I'm not getting any responses from the company and no one from the company has called us since. Issue therefore not resolved. I wish to continue until resolved.
