DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS PAPER! We did a promo that was going on at a local king soopers HUGE MISTAKE! I knew we had to call and cancel or it would auto renewI literally called a week after we signed up to make sure that we would have it canceledThe women was EXTREMELY rude about me canceling and tried to talk me out of itdifferent ways Finally I had to be rude back and say to Cancel it Just know that they also bill you dollars a month for the online edition or some digital crap that they fail to mentionI sent numerous emails and never got a response back about other issues we were havingI would also recommend when you call them to set your phone to record the phone call so they can not claim that you didn't cancel when you called or some BS they are a very shady company Do yourself a favor and just go buy a sunday paper if you want one for the coupons or whateverThis is a hassle and a the stay is horribly rude. They will scam you and "Claim" you never called

First, I am not a Gazette subscriber On May the Gazette threw a packet of advertisements on my lawn and all the lawns in the neighborhood Many neighbors still have the ads on their lawnsThis is littering! I called the Gazette and asked them to stop The Gazette asked my address and said it would stop On June, it happened again This time I wrote an email to the Gazette Publisher asking that they stop littering my lawn and my neighborhood I also checked with Code EnforcementCode Enforcement said it is not within their purview, it is a civil matter My goal is to encourage residents to complain so it will stop

I called almost weekly for four months beginning in August requesting the Gazette stop delivering the free "Sunday Preferred" paper, a product I never requested they deliver in the first placeEvery time I spoke with a customer service representative I was reassured and promised the Sunday Preferred would NOT be delivered againIt was, reliably, delivered again and again and againThere has been a total of eight non-consecutive weeks I haven't received it since I began calling last August and only because I call and lose my [redacted] at their voice mail because I feel bad yelling at an employee for something that is not their personal faultUp until today, Sunday, March 6, 2016, I had not received it in three weeks because of the last nasty voice mail I leftI should not have to constantly call and cancel something I never requested in the first place, nor should I need to waste my time and energy retrieving and trashing a product I don't even wantI never even take it out of the

I am not a Gazette subscriber and have never been oneEvery week someone from the Gazette comes through our neighborhood and throws bagged advertisements onto everyone's propertyMany times people don't want these papers so they don't pick them up and they end up decomposing in the gutters and trashing the neighborhoodI've seen this happening in many neighborhood throughout Colorado Springs I called the number listed on the advertisements in Augto ask them to stop throwing the papers in my yardI don't read them and they're just going straight into the trash which is a total waste of paper & energyThey told me they couldn't find my account to "unsubscribe" me from the "deliveries." I told them I wasn't a subscriber to the Gazette and I don't want their papers thrown in my yardI was told they'd put my address on a "do not deliver list." The papers continued to be thrown in my yard so I emailed the Gazette "Customer Care" and requested again that I be removed fro

Visited the Gazette table they had set up inside of the Safeway grocery store in Falcon,Co on October and I also entered into a drawing they were having for a $shopping spree they were advertising and sign up for the paper I expressed that I only wanted the Sunday paper, she tried to push for the day delivery and I stated again I only needed the Sunday paper, we finally came to agreeement The Gazette Rep checked off the information on the credit card slip which indicated Sunday only and that my debit card would only be deducted $5.00/per month for Sunday only and wrote down my debit card number and expiraton date, I received a copy of the receipt and was on my way I noticed on October that $was deducted from my checking account from the Gazette and no paper had been delieverd to date I called the Gazette on October to find out why $was deducted and I was informed by [redacted] that what she was seeing in the computer system is that I signed up for the day delivery which was incorrect, the slip I received clearly states Sunday only $5.00/monthly She informed me that she corrected it in the system to read Sunday only and that my account would be credited and that I would start to see the $deduction starting January of I called back on November and spoke to [redacted] I had yet to receive the paper to date and I signed up over a month ago [redacted] stated that the delivery representative for the area would be notified I expressed that I was not happy with the Gazette and wanted to cancel the service all together and requested a refund He informed me that he placed a note in the system to have the refund process started and that I should see one in about 6-weeeks I called again December to check status of my refund to make sure that the refund process was indeed initiated and I was informed that he had not I informed the phone representative again of the situation and she informed me that refunds cannot be given for amounts $and under and I explained again the situation and was informed by her, again that the refund process would need to be initiated and that a manager would need to get involved and that a manager would call me back, no manager has ever called me I called back again April and spoke to ***, explained the story again and was informed again that the refund process was never initiated, a manager would need to approve and that a manager would call me back I was also informed that once the refund was approved I should expect to see a refund in about 7-business daysNo manager ever called me and have yet to see a refund Called again today June and spoke to [redacted] and was told the same story of refunds are not givein under $5.00, a manager needs to approve it and that I would receive a call back from a manager I informed [redacted] that $was deducted not $and that is a rude example for customer service I am very disappointed in the Gazettes and how they train employees to give customers the run around I want my refund orf $ I never received the product promised and since October of have been getting the run around for a refund that is owed to me I have the initial receipt given to me showing Sundays only for $5.00/month and my bank statement showing that $was deducted, if I need to provide some kind of proof

Subscribed to newspaper through a kiosk at the [redacted] Festival held in early December I understood the three month commitmentMy bank account was charged $on March 3, Since I am no longer staying in Colorado Springs, I called to cancel the paper and get a refund of the $I have fulfilled the month obligation before thisThe refund request was deniedThe company has collected a full month subscription and are not going to providing the paper

I signed up for the Gazette in [redacted] The salesman convinced me to purchase a subscription stated that as part of my subscriber benefits I would automatically receive a coupon matching toolI paid for months and signed my contractThe contract did not specifically state anything about the coupon tool but I was assured it would be includedAfter reaching out to the Gazette through numerous channels, I was informed that access to the tool was only granted if you attended one of the Couponing WorkshopsI asked for a full refund because I was sold to under pretenseThe rep stated she could not issue a refund and my contract clearly stated thatI asked for a supervisorThe supervisor sent me access to the tool - weeks after I asked her about it - but advised it was not customarily part of my subscriptionDissatisfied, I still wanted to cancelThey agreed to stop delivering the paper but stated that I would not be refunded for the remainder of my month contractT

Took payment and would not deliver the paper because of the bill from the previous tenantsAlso was given the run around from the call center and was given empty guaranties and they did not pass the information on to the proper authorities and would not give me my money back after they said they didn't know how long it would take to solve the problem that wasn't even mine

I was solicited to subscribe to The Gazette at the [redacted] grocery store on Sunday, 5/21/I was not informed that there was a minimum of months to subscribe or I had to pay for the whole service if I canceled before thatNot only did I not receive the paper that should have been delivered starting today, per my account, but when I called to cancel (because my family decided this was not something that was useful to us), I was told that this was in the fine print "on the back" of what I signedBut what I was presented to sign was on a tablet, and there was no "back"I received a confirmation email that stated the terms could be found at separate links - one of which specifically mentioned the cancellation policy ( [redacted] )( [redacted] )I reviewed these links prior to contacting Customer Support, and nowhere in this link was the 3-month minimum mentionedSo this information was NEVER provided to me

I cancelled this paper due to ongoing issues with deliveryI mailed the renewal notice back with "cancel" on it, which apparently will not cancel the paper - you have to callI did call when I kept getting the paper and told then to cancel it! Then I find out when I called today after getting billed for papers I did not renew for, that the renewal notice was mailed to me AFTER my renewal dateApparently the Gazette changes your renewal date whenever they deliver "special" papers, so it appears that the customer is supposed to keep track and know how many "special" papers they receive, and do their own calculation of the "new" expiration date, and make sure and cancel the paper before you receive your renewal, because you are going to get billed for it!! I think this is a highly deceptive, and frankly unethical practiceI don't agree that I should have to pay for these papers that I did not wantAdditionally, their customer service staff could use some basic training in politenes

BEWARE: I have been a Colorado Springs Gazette subscriber for years and am now moving to another state I called to cancel my subscription and was told that I would not get any refund of the remainder of my prepaid subscription This is a blatant money grab How can the Gazette justify keeping all of the amount a customer paid in advance for a subscription when the customer finds out that due to previously unexpected reasons the customer will be moving to another state This is morally wrong and is a really poor way to treat a long time subscriber Maybe they are hurting for money or maybe they are just greedy and unappreciative Either way BEWARE: KEEP IN MIND THAT YOU WILL NOT GET ANY REFUND IF YOU CANCEL YOUR SUBSCRIPTION PRIOR TO ITS EXPIRATION

They refuse to honor my subscription renewal of wks that I pd on 7-21-They say they notify me daily on pgof the newspaper that my term may be shorter due to special editions and therefore don't need to send me a notice by mailThis was never mentioned on my renewal statement from them back in The new renewal ends 6-24-That's only 48wks of newspapersI pd for 52wksI can't opt out of these special editions and they refuse to extend my date or refund any moneyThey are cheating the customer of services they pay for

They know

I have unsuccessfully tried to cancel my subscription with The GazetteAlthough they offer many services on their website, cancellation is not one of themI have called the customer service number multiple times only to be put on hold (after you select that you would like to cancel) the last hold time was minutesI also emailed and they promptly respond to emails, but are unable to process a cancellation via emailI asked for another number and/or a manager contact information only to be told "no" and "if there is a hold time you must wait until an agent is available." I just want to cancel my subscription

I have provided correspondence and supporting documentation to Revdex.com of Southern Colorado

have had a daily subscription to The Gazette for approximately years I feel that I am being cheated out of two and a half months of a week subscription that I paid in full upfront last September I consider their current billing practices to be very deceptive, and could get no satisfaction after a lengthy phone call with their circulation department representative Baxter The problem dates back to September, 2016, when I called after receiving my written "Subscription Notice" renewal in the mail I believed there to be two problems, the first being that the expiration date was a full month short of the weeks (as stated on the written notice) that I had paid in full in advance on October 5, Rhonda, the rep I spoke with on September 29, 2016, explained that the shortened term was due to the extra fees for "special editions" that I had received with my paper during the year She said that the information is on the second page of every newspaper under "Subscriber Ser

I signed up for the Gazette in ***The salesman convinced me to purchase a subscription stated that as part of my subscriber benefits I would automatically receive a coupon matching toolI paid for months and signed my contractThe contract did not specifically state anything about the coupon tool but I was assured it would be includedAfter reaching out to the Gazette through numerous channels, I was informed that access to the tool was only granted if you attended one of the Couponing WorkshopsI asked for a full refund because I was sold to under pretenseThe rep stated she could not issue a refund and my contract clearly stated thatI asked for a supervisorThe supervisor sent me access to the tool - weeks after I asked her about it - but advised it was not customarily part of my subscriptionDissatisfied, I still wanted to cancelThey agreed to stop delivering the paper but stated that I would not be refunded for the remainder of my month contractT

I received a billing printed 1/4/stating my subscription was expiring on 2/11/when I returned home from vacationThe Gazette charges extra for "Special Editions" which would shorten the actual expiration date They were aware on 1/4/that 2/was not an accurate renewal date since there would be a "Special Edition in January I had asked them twice last year to mark my subscription "not to be renewed" when the annual renewal date was 4/14/When I returned, and saw they were sending a renewal notice even after my requests, I called immediately to cancel my subscription againI was informed since it required a three day notice I would get a paper on Friday, 2/and they expect me to pay $extra After years as a customer I would expect, since the statement was in my opinion, misleading and inaccurate, because they did not include the cost of the Special Edition which they knew affected the expiration date, it is not too much to ask to have the $waived sinc

A salesman knocked on my apartment door (in a non-soliciting building that has locks to enter) and offered a month subscription to The Gazette and they would call me before the end of the subscription to see if I would like to renew, otherwise the papers would stop coming and would no longer be chargedThis turned out to be not be the caseNo phone call was received
I had received a bill for a renewal that I did not agree to per the original terms and called to cancel the newspaper on May 4th when it should have already beenI was not informed of any balance that there may be from the representative
On 5/a bill for $arrived for the first few papers that were delivered before the subscription was cancelled, which should not have auto-renewed in the first placeWhen contacting The Gazette again, I was only then informed of the auto-renewal policy in addition to the pro-rated charge remainingBoth people who have spoken to me said the salesman would be punished for

On 7/22/17, while shopping at ***, I paid a Gazette Sales Rep named Nick $in CASH for a wk subscription Sunday/Holidays/7-Day Digital AccessAs an incentive, Nick gave me two $*** gift cardsMy paper wasn't delivered so I called and spoked to a Tianna on 8/14/at approx 1241pApparently, per Tianna, there was a issue with my accts and that the paper for Sunday 8/13/would be delivered on Tues8/15/Since it was not delivered that there would be an extra week addedI said ok and thanksI also asked, "WHAT ACCTS?"I had no idea what she meantSo, Tianna stated that I had another acct supposedly paid by a credit cardI informed her that that could not be possibleAfter being placed on hold, Tianna stated that she took care of the problemMy paper was delivered as scheduled but there would sometimes be papersSo on10/27/approx1pm, I called and spoke with a Sandy who also said there was still accts and thats why I am getting paper
