I cancelled this paper due to ongoing issues with deliveryI mailed the renewal notice back with "cancel" on it, which apparently will not cancel the paper - you have to callI did call when I kept getting the paper and told then to cancel it! Then I find out when I called today after getting billed for papers I did not renew for, that the renewal notice was mailed to me AFTER my renewal dateApparently the Gazette changes your renewal date whenever they deliver "special" papers, so it appears that the customer is supposed to keep track and know how many "special" papers they receive, and do their own calculation of the "new"
expiration date, and make sure and cancel the paper before you receive your renewal, because you are going to get billed for it!! I think this is a highly deceptive, and frankly unethical practiceI don't agree that I should have to pay for these papers that I did not wantAdditionally, their customer service staff could use some basic training in politenes

We've recently moved to the Springs and secured a weekly subscription to the Gazette through one of their promotions at *** and wanted to alert consumers of the 3rd party entity selling these promotions as they are at best, fraudulent Our subscription was debited from our account on Mar 13, and was supposed to start on March 20, and after a week of waiting we called to learn that it was a 3rd party selling it for the Gazette, and they could not help us, and directed us to contact the newspaper When my wife contacted the Gazette, she was asked to speak directly to a VP of Customer Revenue (quite the lofty title for a director of circulation, but whatever it takes to get someone to stay employed without giving them a raise I suppose), and no reply Today, we called again and stated that we had yet to receive any paper (now days late...) and when we asked to cancel the subscription and issue a refund, were told by a representative named Ronnie that there could be no refund

I have three driveways at my houseThe Gazette leaves a pink Sunday advertisement on the ground in all three drivewaysThe paper includes a number to call to "opt out" of deliveryI have called three times and been promised "this time" they have it take care ofBut they continue throwing the paper on the groundI have written twice and asked for a response but the Gazette has not responded to my lettersThe second letter was sent with a return receipt so I know the letter was deliveredAnd I have emailed the Gazette with still no responseI am left to conclude they do not careWhen I am away from home on business trips or away on vacation, I can stop the mail and newspaper delivery so people do not get a visual indication no one is at homeBut they throw the advertisement on my property every week regardless which serves as a notice that no one is at home when it sits for days in the drivewayEven when I am at home, it is a pain to have to go out in the snow or rain and pick

The Gazette is absolutely the worst company that I have ever dealt with in my entire life! After canceling the newspaper back in July 2016, they began delivering it again "unsolicited" after two months of not delivering it, (so they obviously got the message) to our homeI called customer service and they told me they could not verify that I had actually cancelled the paper, and that I owed them $(I paid them because I didn't want my credit rating affected) for the papers that I did not receive, asked for, or even wanted! The two customer service supervisors that I spoke to were both very rude, including threatening to pursue "all avenues" against me in order to collect the money that they said I owed to themAfter reading the other reviews here and *** I can only conclude that their's is a culture of corruption, and this is a part of their nefarious business planI feel strongly that the State Attorney General should be made aware of how they conduct their business!

ordered weeks delivered weeks and refuse to refund $ or provide documentation of when my subscription started stoppedPhone calls times in the last week

I cancelled my service with the Gazette on 8/5/I was told that my month ended on 9/2/and would not be charged againThere was a charge to my credit card on 8/31/When I called the Gazette on 9/2/the representative said she did not know why I was charged because I was cancelled and she would submit for a partial refundI asked why it was a partial since my monthly subscription was supposed to end on 9/2/She said since they put out a commemorative *** edition on 8/27/that pushed my renewal date back to the 27th of August so they would not refund the entire monthI then asked when I would get my partial refund and she said she did not knowShe would contact the finance department and they would decide how much if any to refund and whenNOT acceptableWhen I cancelled I was told it ended on 9/2/I was not given the option of pushing my date back to the 27th of AugustI cancelled because I didn't receive my paper 75% of the time I was supposed to and now I

I have asked the free Wednesday paper NOT BE DELIIVERED, times since May--but still get it They promise they will stop delivery, but don't
Not being able to stop papers, not being able to opt out is a serious problem with the Gazette It is the reason we stopped our paper subscription years ago as we always had piles of newspapers in the drive when returning from vacation hold
Please ensure that we DO NOT RECEIVE delivery of the free newspaper (s)

This is the most deceptive billing & shady business that I have ever dealt withThey are crooks and have an A plus rating with the Revdex.comHow in the heck does this happenI will be calling "call for action" to hopefully put an end to these scechy people

I received a bill the other day for $for papers delivered after my subscription ran outWhen I called customer service, I was told that I was supposed to call them when the subscription ran outThis makes no sense - if I don't pay for the next subscription, the paper should stop deliveringThey kept delvering for months - all the time I thought they were making a mistake, and that the paper would stop any dayAt no time did I get an email stating to reply or call them if I wanted the subscription stopped - it would've been that easyI also didn't realize that I was still being billed for the papers after my subscription stoppedThe customer service guy (who was quite rude, I may add), told me it is printed on the renewal notice (on the back, which I didn't read since I wasn't going to renew), and on page of the gazette (who reads the small print?)Again, all it would've taken was an email or call saying "we haven't received your payment - do you still want the subscrip

Awful company, I have never gotten my paper, they refuse to refund me and are charging me for papers I am not gettingScammers really, please never waste your money here

First, I am not a Gazette subscriber
On May the Gazette threw a packet of advertisements on my lawn and all the lawns in the neighborhood Many neighbors still have the ads on their lawnsThis is littering!
I called the Gazette and asked them to stop The Gazette asked my address and said it would stop
On June, it happened again This time I wrote an email to the Gazette Publisher asking that they stop littering my lawn and my neighborhood I also checked with Code EnforcementCode Enforcement said it is not within their purview, it is a civil matter
My goal is to encourage residents to complain so it will stop

I responded to an off to receive the Gazette newspaper for weeks for $and to receive a $*** gift cardMy credit card was charged the $on October 27, 2016, but the *** gift card has not been sentI called about it two weeks ago, but they have still not sent it

Starting back at least in December of I began calling the Gazette's Subscription Services to opt out of their "Free" Sunday edition On the front of the page it states:
Do you want to keep receiving this every week for FREE? Call *** to opt in today!
I have called and left messages, called and talked with the operators at their Subscription Services Every time, they confirm our address is off the list, and they'll email their manager about it
I then resorted to directly talk with the manager, and each time she promises to let her supervisor know about the problem
Searching through their directory, I found the name of their Director of Operations Vicki *** I then started contacting her about this issue She assured me she would take care of it, yet the paper has been delivered times since her promise
The first time it was delivered after her promise, she said the delivery driver was let go, and which should solve the issue, yet i

over over thirty days I been missing my paper and I want percent refund this is fraud stealing money and not receiving product

Beware when you sign up for the newspaper If you are subscribing to anything less than the day and pay for what you think are a total is weeks plus Holidays , it really isn't They charge extra for the holidays and also extra for their three other special editions that are included in all home delivery subscriptions We have the Wednesday/Sunday/Holiday subscription and thought we were paying for weeks What we thought was an annual renewal charge has been about months earlier than the previous If you do a monthly automatic renewal, they will do the renewal charge date differently depending on how many holidays or special editions were in that month Make sure you understand what they are selling you and how much it really costs It's like a bait and switch When they advertise it as Wednesday/Sunday + Holidays for $8.19/month, doesn't that sound like you should get Wednesday/Sunday + Holidays for $8.19/month? Well, you don't

Colorado Springs Gazette charged me for a newspaper subscription after it had expired on May 19, while I was on official travel outside the state for active military serviceThey continued delivery and did not provide notification that I would incur costs after my paid-for services expiredWhen I called to cancel my subscription they demanded that I pay the $cost that my account had incurredThey referenced that customers must call to cancel their subscriptions, even during Grace Periods, to stop automatic delivery and transactionThis is an unfair practice that takes advantage of the general public by using implied terminology to trick customers that no further action is required on their part to end their paid-for servicesAdditionally, this practice is biased against military personnel that are forced to conduct travel outside the state and are unable to contact the organization to update or cancel their services

I called almost weekly for four months beginning in August requesting the Gazette stop delivering the free "Sunday Preferred" paper, a product I never requested they deliver in the first placeEvery time I spoke with a customer service representative I was reassured and promised the Sunday Preferred would NOT be delivered againIt was, reliably, delivered again and again and againThere has been a total of eight non-consecutive weeks I haven't received it since I began calling last August and only because I call and lose my *** at their voice mail because I feel bad yelling at an employee for something that is not their personal faultUp until today, Sunday, March 6, 2016, I had not received it in three weeks because of the last nasty voice mail I leftI should not have to constantly call and cancel something I never requested in the first place, nor should I need to waste my time and energy retrieving and trashing a product I don't even wantI never even take it out of the

BEWARE: I have been a Colorado Springs Gazette subscriber for years and am now moving to another state I called to cancel my subscription and was told that I would not get any refund of the remainder of my prepaid subscription This is a blatant money grab How can the Gazette justify keeping all of the amount a customer paid in advance for a subscription when the customer finds out that due to previously unexpected reasons the customer will be moving to another state
This is morally wrong and is a really poor way to treat a long time subscriber Maybe they are hurting for money or maybe they are just greedy and unappreciative Either way BEWARE: KEEP IN MIND THAT YOU WILL NOT GET ANY REFUND IF YOU CANCEL YOUR SUBSCRIPTION PRIOR TO ITS EXPIRATION

I subscribe to the paper but it is delivered to my mother's houseShe is years old so I basically take care of this for herThe carrier has damaged her screen door throwing the paper so hard and hitting itA message was left on my phone stating the carrier would be spoken to and they are contracted not by the gazetteI don't care where he is from, he has damaged this property, they still carry the paper and this door need repaired!!!! I keep getting messages someone will be in contact but no resultsThe screen needs repaired and the carrier needs to be more careful
I would appreciate this fixed and someone to contact Rosie *** *** and letting her know
Damaged door...*** ***

I am not a Gazette subscriber and have never been oneEvery week someone from the Gazette comes through our neighborhood and throws bagged advertisements onto everyone's propertyMany times people don't want these papers so they don't pick them up and they end up decomposing in the gutters and trashing the neighborhoodI've seen this happening in many neighborhood throughout Colorado Springs
I called the number listed on the advertisements in Augto ask them to stop throwing the papers in my yardI don't read them and they're just going straight into the trash which is a total waste of paper & energyThey told me they couldn't find my account to "unsubscribe" me from the "deliveries." I told them I wasn't a subscriber to the Gazette and I don't want their papers thrown in my yardI was told they'd put my address on a "do not deliver list."
The papers continued to be thrown in my yard so I emailed the Gazette "Customer Care" and requested again that I be removed fro
