Dear Mrand Mrs***, Thank you for input but I'm a bit confused on your complaint as I checked your file where it was noted that we had spoken with you and determined you were very happy with everything with our company It was noted that you had significantly increased your electricity consumption/usage from the historical data/previous electrical bills used from which your electrical solar system was desgined upon My records indicated that you wanted to purchase additional solar modules to offset the increased electricity usage and a quote was given I will have my customer service supervisor reach out to you to resolve any miscommunication Thank you again for your input and business Sincerely, [redacted] GCI Solar

I have alreadycontacted Capital One (credit card) "Disputes" department.? They will be stopping payment unless GCI puts the site map placard up as required by SDG&E.? ? GCI is lying when they say they are waiting for SDG&E.? SDG&E is waiting for GCI to put up the site map.? ? Several emails were sent from SDG&E to GCI and me confirming that they are waiting for the site map.I will not have $18,worth of solar panels sitting on my roof, not connected to the grid because GCI refuses to finish the job.GCI? employees still not answering their phones at the office at?

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below It appears that [redacted] did not make himself familiar with the problem before respondingHe is making claims in his reply and is not proposing any resolve action or any sort of resolutionHe claims that one of the delays was caused by our prior installed of a sub panel - that is untrueMy husband did not install an electrical sub-panel prior to the solar installationI was present during the first inspection and as anyone can read in the permit correction notes, the installation inspection failed for not installing up to code - including failure to ground the system properly My husband did not install an electrical sub-panel prior to the solar installationI was present during the first inspection and as anyone can read in the permit correction notes, the installation inspection failed for not installing up to code - including failure to ground the system properly Independently, GCI told us that we would need to upgrade our panel to meet the requirements of the new system and that that we needed to pull a permit for thatBefore the inspector came, the GCI representative told us that the panel was fine - that it we should not have been told to upgrade the panel...that the permit was totally unnecessaryWhen the inspector showed up for the inspection, he said that since both permits had been pulled, he would need to inspect both the solar installation and panelI explained that no work had been done on the panel - and he said that it didn't matter, since it had been pulled, it would need to be passed Many months prior to the solar installation, we installed a jet tub in one of our bathrooms, the tub required dedicated electrical from the panelMy husband had cut open the drywall when he installed the new electrical line to a new breaker in the panel - he did not patched the hole in the drywall when he was doneNobody installed a new panel - The hole in the wall caused the panel to fail Has we not been told to pull the panel permit by your company, the inspector would have not been required to inspect itIt was a complete waste of time and moneyAgain, remember - the installation permit also failed on it's own, because the installation was not done to codethe inspector failed the installation permit and made correction notes during the first visitThe GCI installer had to make corrections before it would pass Last Friday, GCI representative, Melissa agreed to send me a check for the $to cover the unnecessary permit cost, but I really do not think that is enough to satisfy the problemI wasted a good amount of my time keeping the project on track because the GCI office staff failed to do so - causing delays with every stepAs a result of the delays caused by GCI (not PG&E), I had a complete system installed that I was unable to see any benefits from for monthsI gave GCI $for this job, I'm sure that a portion of that was supposed to cover the cost of project management - since GCI failed to manage the project with any aptitude, I believe that they owe me a portion of that back to (in part) cover the costs incurred during the time that we were unable to use the system Regards, [redacted] ###-###-####

That is, days after the signed completion day for this jobThis is fraudThis is advertising This is a broken contract! We have been waiting here since March for this job to be completedIt is now June This company is over 100% late on this job, This seems to mean nothing to CGI representitivesThey have no schedule they seem to care aboutDeadlines mean nothing to this companyThey have moved our work back, rescheduled it over and over on this jobWe have been moved back in their schedule line repeatedly by this companyHow many jobs has this company started and completed since our guaranteed contract date? Quite a few I'm sure We had vacatiion plans in Utah and Colorado throught the month of April and into MayAll cancelled because we have been on call for this LATE job to be finished since March 16, Our entire spring, months of our lives have been stripped, stolen from us because this company obviously doesn't care about schedules Regards, [redacted] **

GCI Solar built the system according to their specifications and guidelines so I would suggest waiting for their feedback? Hello, We have reached out to the customer and tried work in multiple ways to resolve his issue He has increased his electricity consumption as indicated on his utility bill thus causing an increase in his electric bill As for the TOU billing rate, per the policies of SCE, we as the contractor cannot change a homeowner's billing rate, we had instructed the customer to change his rate and indicated that we cannot change his rate for him per the policies of SCE at time of completion of his project The design of his system is based on numerous factors that may include but not limited to trees that cause shading, chimney(s) that cause shading and also availability of space on his roof We had completed a full study prior to design of his system to maximize his system's production Sincerely, [redacted] GCI Solar

Attached are e-mails with communication with GCI and copy of contract as requested My statement regarding the issueI want to give information regarding the representative for GCI named ***He came to our home and was a very pleasant and trusting manAs he represented GCI solar and gave us his speech and testimony about installing solar panels on our house, I took detailed notesMy detailed notes insured that our current electric bill from PG&E would NEVER be over approximately $a monthHe even told us to call others to verifyWe did not do this because we trusted GCIWe had looked into the reputation of GCI before we had [redacted] come to our homeWe also were referred by a friendTherefore, we trusted in what we were to receive from this company (GCI)My first years bill came to approximately $1800, which is more than promisedThis results in more than $a monthWe have contacted GCI several times concerning our issues and complaintsI was told the first time we contacted GCI to refer to our contractI find nothing in our contract (attached) that insures we will get a bill for no more than $a month I was asked to send pre and post PG&E bills so they could review our usageI have e-mailed (attached) several times along with phone communication to find results and have received noneAfter [redacted] left our home, I requested a copy of his notes, which matched my own notesThese notes were documentation of my claims [redacted] assured me I would be sent a copy after he turned them in to GCI When I inquired about these notes, I was told I could not be sent a copyThis left me with no real evidence of the conversation we had with ***We are very disappointed with the integrity of GCIThis discretion has put us in a financial hardship, and I believe and want them to be true to what their hired representative sold to usWe have had many many friends and family ask us about our solar and we want to refer them, but are not able to at this timeWe are very disappointed in the service and communication we have received from GCI, and only want them to make it right We are very honest citizens and feel everyone should follow suiteJust a side note: We have been told that [redacted] no longer works for this companyThis should mean something to the arbitration of this claimThank you [redacted]

I would not do business with GCI Solar as they frequently violate federal law by not honoring the Federal Do Not Call List I have reported them numerous times to the FCC regarding their continued transgressions If a company is continuing to violate federal law, why do business with them The next instance that I receive an unsolicited phone call from them, I may contact a private attorney that deals with repeat violators

It is now June 10, 2014. days since we gave GCI their first $payment. They now have all $19,of mine, bill paid in full, and I still do not have an operational, functioning solar panel array on my roof. Would love to be making electricity now
