Customer contacted Ashford to advise there was a problem with the second hand on his watch.  Ashford advised customer to send in the watch for evaluation and ultimately repair.  During evaluation process customer requested refund.  Customer had sized watch and as per Ashford's policy,...

item must be unworn, undamaged, unaltered to be eligible for repair.  Ashford advised customer that we would repair the worn and sized watch and return to him as soon as possible.  Customer refused and demanded refund of worn and sized watch.

Hello, Thank you for your feedback.Your shipment was shipped by WTD instead of S.f express because upon selecting the shipping method of the order, Delivery Duty Paid (DDP) was selected which means you selected to pay for your duties prior to shipping and at that point the order was shipped WTD...

which has the same delivery time as SF express, if you are concerned about any delays, you had placed the order in the middle of the chinese new year, there were no order to China that were shipped during that time frame.In the future if you prefer using SF express please choose the S.F. express shipping method fro the webpage before submitting the order and you will pay for duties upon pickup. If you have any further questions please feel free to contact us at anytime!

 Supply assistance?What assitance you supply?You said the HK office gathering the information from UCS,but actually they not.The only thing that the HK office do is  requested me to send them a proof  which the post office did not provide!I contact my local post office,they said they did not prove any proof because first,the package delivered too many days ago,and second they delivered the pacakge to a normal and safe,it is not their responsibility.I explain to HK office that the local office can not provide me the proof ,the HK office also knows that it is very difficult to get a proof from local post office,but they still request me to get this proof,Because they know I cann't get this proof so they can escape responsibility.  It is almost 20 days since I first contacted them,but they still did not resolve this.As  a customer,it is very upset,I also know that investigation need time,but I can not unlimited waiting.

Customer returned worn watch 3 weeks after receipt.  Customer was advised that Ashford policy states, "worn watches are not eligible for refund.  Watch was repaired and shipped back to customer.  Customer refused delivery of watch and filed chargeback.  Watch is currently at Ashford warehouse awaiting customer's consent to ship.

Our operations manager in our Hong Kong facility is currently working with this customer in developing an equally amenable solution to this issue.  It's my understanding the customer will drop this complaint once that solution has been finalized.

The customer chose shipping using [redacted] and purchased two watches.  China customs does not allow two watches to be declared in the same box. Once the customer contacted us, the watches were already within customs and unable to be cleared.  The customer service manager at the time authorized...

an RTS (return to sender) on this package and on 12/**/15 and the customer was refunded the full amount as requested.

We are sorry the customer finds our response unsatisfactory.  The customer was sent a watch that was free of blemishes and scratches however the watch we received back from the customer was scratched.  The scratches are evident in the photos we included in our previous reply.  Our returns policy clearly states that watches that have been worn, used or otherwise handled can not be returned for refund.  Unfortunately we are not able to refund the customer.

This customer chose and paid for second day air for $19.95.  Due to the holiday season and [redacted] delays the shipping was delivered almost a week later. The customer contacted us for a partial refund of the shipping charges for second day air. Ashford.com posted the credit of $19.95 on 12/**/15

Hello again,Please see the attached two images...The two images show a standard bracelet style measurement cone.  You will see we've rested the watch the customer purchased (noted by the tag attached to the watch) on this cone, and it reads this watch is 7.5inches.  This shows you that the watch we originally took the picture of which shows the back case, IS the watch the customer purchased.  Also, we've looked at all three sizes of watch and here are what the back case numbers show:Size 7 =             K5024420 –case back #k50244.00 is 7.0Size 7.5 =K5023420-case back #k50234.00 is 7.5Size 8.5 =K5022420-case back #k50224.00 is 8.5You can see here that the case back numbers DO NOT match the model numbers precisely. This is how CK marks their watches...we have nothing to do with this.  Please note, most brands have different numbers on the case backs...they do not, nor will they match most of the time.I hope this proves to you that we did send you the correct timepiece.  Again, we stand behind our products and guarantee that they are 100% authentic and brand new.  Rest assured that you received the correct watch!  Please, enjoy it!Kindly,[redacted]

Hello,Thank you for your attention to this matter!Firstly, we reserve the right to cancel any order...especially when there's a pricing glitch.  We do not make it a habit to false advertise our prices, this issue was a simple mistake...not an attempt to cheat our customers.This item was...

mistakenly listed at 94% off...which to anyone would be a fantastic deal...so of course, we had a few customers place orders for this item.  We cancelled all of the orders, emailed the customers to notify them, and allowed them to either pay the correct price for this item...or they could choose a different model.  Per our Terms & Conditions, we clearly state in section #8-9 that if there is a mistake with the price of any item, we can cancel the order.This scenario does not happen often, but when it does, we expect the customer to understand that while we give excellent deals on our products, we cannot give them away for almost free.  We have explained this policy to all our customers who placed an order for this incorrectly priced item.  This customer is no exception.  Since our website Terms & Conditions clearly states we can cancel any order due to this and other issues, we are not at fault for doing so.I am sorry that this occurred...as we would never wish for anyone to think ill of our company...but unfortunately, web-based stores do incur glitches from time to time.There is nothing more that can be done in this case.  The customer retains the right to place a new order at their convenience...if not, then that's their choice.Please let me know if there's anything more I can assist you with closing out this complaint.Kindly,[redacted]

then refused to pay customs fees and taxes [redacted] held the package.Customer contacted Ashford to express concerns on shipping and customs fees and taxes. We then explained that the shipping is what the customer choose and that we state on site that we are not responsible for customs fees and taxes. We also explained that if the order was not received by them and was returned to Ashford.com that the customer would be responsible for return fees. Ashford.com clearly states in the check process and on site that international sales are final.This information was communicated to the customer the package was successfully delivered on Feb **, 2017
