A nice woman called me from Genesis and asked me to call her on Monday at the same number she called me from so that I could provide her with a fax number so she could fax a settlement letter to me.  I called back Monday as we discussed to the same number and I got a hold of a regular rep who could not locate her said she'd left no notes in my account as to how she could be contacted.   She did advise she would email me the settle ment paper if she didn't hear from me but I don't have that either.  Sincerely,[redacted]

We appreciate Ms. [redacted] inquiry. After reviewing the consumer’s complaint we have a few alternative scenarios to present to Ms. [redacted], however need to speak in person with her to do so. We have attempted to contact the consumer by phone, and left several messages, but at this time have been unable to reach her. Unfortunately, without directly discussing the options with the consumer, there is little we can do. We ask that she contact us at the number below.

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because: I submitted the requested paperwork to the company (police report, FTC report, proof of residence, government issued identification, affidavit) to prove the account was opened fraudulently. I do not appreciate the company's insinuation that I opened the account in my maiden name. I did not open the account, period. It was opened fradulently, and the company has provided no proof or evidence that it was opened legitimately.Sincerely,[redacted]

I accept them removing the bankruptcy and removing the delinquent payments on my credit report.  I also accept them removing any late fees and extending the promotional interest on the account so my account is in good standings with the creditor.   Thank you,

however , as per today , I am still waiting on the refund of 99 dollarsAlso over the company over the phone did force me to pay the 99 dol; I did not have any other options and they forced me tonkeep mu account open.I missed a call from them and will call again to follow up on the promised refund

After reviewing the information and requested resolution contained in the consumer’s complaint, we have attempted to contact the customer directly to discuss options for resolution. At this time we have not been able to have the conversation necessary for closure, however have provided him with copies of his statements. We remain optimistic that once we do connect with Mr. [redacted], we will be able to resolve the issue. is in response to your inquiry dated October 27, 2017, regarding a complaint
filed with your office by the above referenced consumer. We appreciate
Mr. [redacted] bringing this concern to our attention. After reviewing the
information and requested resolution...

contained in the consumer’s complaint, we
have reviewed the account to determine next steps. The address placed on the
account at opening was incorrect but was updated September 27th and is
the same address that appears on the consumer’s submission. Because the
consumer would not have received any of his important documents they have been
resent; all statements and the Welcome kit have been requested for delivery and
should be received within 7-10 days. The past due status has been removed, late
fees waived and credit bureau reporting has been updated, a confirmation letter
of these actions has been mailed to the consumer. We contacted the customer
directly to discuss the action taken and confirm the correct mailing address. We
believe our actions have addressed his concerns.       We hope this resolves
this matter, but if you or the consumer has additional questions or concerns, please
