The main reason company was forced to add extra men on unload because of the customer greedSize of the truck is a good example, her estimate was to load the truck approxhalf full and customer replaying truck was completely full!Exactly, this is so much stuff she generated to take advantage of the flat rateFlat rate is based on the furniture list, we do have a written statement form the driver that customer went to get and purchase boxes at least times and added much more stuff to the truck that double size was not enough Another aspect is number of Revdex.com complains about our long distance practices, is 0, so how is possible we do not have any issues with regular good customers but some individual making it in this case? Yes, outstanding bill was sent to her with request to pay in days or will be submitted to collection agency Again, she has huge problem with understanding basic match, so I will write slowIf something cost dollars years ago and will be damages, factors will be takenDo we have full value insurance as extra paid? If yes, there is deductible level, if not is a cents per pound up to $when items was stolen or burned out so cannot be use completelyAdditionally $item if was purchased years ago is NOT worth so much now and sentimental value does not countEvery year item looking its value for approx10%, so $dollar item after ten years cost just $if was stolen If item was just scratched loosing for example 2-3%, .In her case weight is in action so if pounds dresser was scratched lost just 3%- >pounds [redacted] cents = $of lost valueHow much she paid is relevant if we dealing with free of charge insurance, for cheap customer, we do have cheap dealShe will receive $insurance claim after paying outstanding transportation fee for extra items

Clearly when we saw this and the accolades on Georgetown Moving's website, we thought this would be how our furniture would be handled and we put our trust in their team Georgetown Moving damaged SEVERAL pieces of hi-end furniture, put holes in our walls and scratched our brand new hardwood floors They clearly did not protect furniture as stated on their website We were told to complete an "insurance claim form" outlining damages, which we did Georgetown Moving never informed us that even "basic valuation" coverage would be determined by Georgetown Moving, not an independent/objective party Where did Georgetown Moving ever make it clear that any damages would be evaluated and determined by the owner himself, not an insurance company or independent party? It is clear that Georgetown Moving mishandled our furniture, and did not treat it as they state on their website, and now they are refusing to provide any reimbursement for damages This move cost us $6,and will cost us thousands more in repairs This is the most unprofessional business we have ever dealt withWe do not understand how a business can mishandle their client's belongings and take no action to correct the situation, yet be so highly rated by the Revdex.comI am rejecting Georgetown Moving's response and would like a neutral, third party to determine how to properly correct the situation Regards, [redacted]

Lets come back in time hereWe have worked with customer to establish time frames for her move to make customer happy by cost and number of movers capable to do the projectAdditionally we did have another customer scheduled after her move, because her list of the items needed to be move that day was quite smallAdditionally to ensure success we have send her 4, not men as estimatedWe did this to ensure time frame of the project4th man was free of charge, customer did not pay for himWhat we got instead? What was wrong? Well, fake information provided by customer! Again, by customer! Why did she lie? Why did she hide information about storages? Why not say about number of boxes that were over 100! Because of fake information provided by customer her move took much longer and our another customer was in danger to make his move a disaster.She should not complain about the cost, we work per hour and that's she paid, for how many hours it tookYou need more time to finish your move? Well, hire another movers, and pay for extra timeWe do not work with customers like sheWe do honest quotes for honest people based on honest informationItems was left behind because movers took her boxes that were blocking the items, she got time more boxes that said she will have.Damage, customer have a right to purchase additional insurance, if not, she got free of charge very basic protectionIf bill paid in full, customer have days to submit a claim and all terms were provided to her and voice recording statement that she agreed to terms was saved

AWFUL, LIARS & SCAMMERS, BUYER BEWARE, BAIT and SWITCH, STAY AWAYFirst of all let me start by saying that I have never been someone to write reviews on anything or anyoneI don't like making anyone look badBut the experience I went thru with this company left me crying hysterically and the company did not care or bothered to do anythingI called multiple times to speak to the manager but Alexander and Ashley claimed the manager was not there or on vacationIf I can give this company zero stars that what they would receiveThis has been the worst moving company I have ever encountered I am disabled veteran with many health issues and needed their help, but they took advantage of me Failure to Gather Info Properly: Alexander failed to update my order when I called to let them know I had more boxes and items than expectedThe movers arrived unprepared and had to call a third guy that supposedly was on his way but never showed upTo be clear the mover called the company to let them know the situation and I requested a third mover that never showed upHour Wasted on Personal Calls: The first hour of the move the moving manager spent an hour arguing on the phone with his supervisor about having his pay docked, needing to leave early for a doctor’s appointment and making other persona phone callsMean time there was one mover doing all the work even thought I was paying for two Bait & Switch Tactics: Being that Alexander failed do his job correctly and failed to properly report the amount of items I had I ended up needing more storage vaults than expected I was okay with paying with what was neededThe moving manager called the office in the morning to get me the prices on additional storage vaultsAshley their operation manager said I can have each vault for $dollars, which I was okay withAt the end of the move the price went up to $ dollars after I agreed to the $dollarsI called to talk to someone and I was stone walled, there was no one available, no manager, nothing they can do, no military discount anythingMovers Took Their Time: The movers took there sweet time moving my belongingsI was so desperate I started to help move my own belonging down to the truck even though I shouldn’t of been moving anything with my bad back, neck and shouldersTotal Bill: My total bill to move a bedroom apartment, store for weeks came out to be more than two times as expected, almost $ dollarsTime to Stuff Out of Storage: I went to the company in person in hopes that I can find a customer service oriented person I can talk too about my experienceI was able to talk to Ashley and she didn’t careShe was cold, un-apologetic and un-movedI was in tears recounting my experience and frustration and all she cared about was charging my card again(Nice ppl huh) Legal Robbery: Finally when it was time to move my items out of storageThe company charges another $ dollars to allow you to remove themYes you’re hearing correctlyAfter I paid $ to have them placed in storage you have to pay another $ to get them outNightmare is Not Over: At this point I just wanted to be done with this companyI get a message from my credit card company that my card was charged in error five time….yes they ran my card fives time and had to correct itNo I have to wait another days for the mess they created to clearRevdex.com Complaint: After this long review I will be filling a complaint with the Revdex.comThis company should not be allowed to operate in this manner, using bait & switch tactics, very small print on contract and surprise feesThis company is unethical and ppl need to be warned

Dear Revdex.com We will proof why customer lie in this case Last name of the customer is ***, and as this is listed on our quote and was customer have never corrected it (in case if wrong) Original estimate - PROVIDED IN WRITING - was to our storage ONLY, there is clearly GMS STORAGE listed as Destination so obviously there is no any "Pennsylvania" destination provided by customer from the beginning and we have not heard about this destination at all Items went to our storage were inventoried, and customer or customer's representative have verified this info and have SIGNED inventory listWe do not care that customer was not present, for us he have chosen his representative, so any claim about missing items is just the insurance fraud approach Please see attached signed Inventory and the Estimate

All information provided in the statement by customer is incorrectWe have provided in writing fair cost estimate based on the list of furniture we got from customer, well unfortunately all list was just fakeCustomer have had MUCH more items at home, means she lied to us from the beginning And this is a reason cost of store was higherPrice $is fake again, our lowest one is $and again price was provided to her informationStorage out cost is obviously additional since customer did not specified final destination addressThis is typical customer that do not understand basic written estimatesCompensation will not be provided since we do have signed by her contract with all details related to all charges, customer have agreed to all and confirm it by signing the agreement

movers were late on the unload but customer completely forgetting highly rain that day and the fact that her shipment from storage had to be loaded to the truck at the morning after thatSmall delay happened but did not have any major influence on the move that day
It was a rainy day and movers did not have floor protection to place in the houseTo compensate this issue, crew chief split crew into groups "outside" and "inside" the house"Inside" group have had removed shoes so any protection was not required since there is nothing better that movers working with socks Obviously as a general manager I have never approved movers to work without foot protection, but this only means how we wish to make our customer happyWe were moving heavy furniture in just the socks to not to damage the floor
Ronald Reagan said "there you go again"Every customer have a right purchase full replacement valuationObviously this customer did not purchase it and went with basic, free of charge valuationThis free valuation was agreed by customer and I do have all paperwork with hand signatures under the agreement as follow: " Unless additional insurance is purchased, the agreed or declared value of property will not exceed $per pound per article, up to a maximum of $per articleAdditional Full Value Protection insurance is available upon request and the minimum Declared Value must be equal $times the estimated weight of your shipmentPlease be advised that if additional insurance is not purchased, basic valuation cover is a limit on carrier's liability for loss of or damage to your goods while they are in its custody and control."
Additionally in the liability part is written agreement " No Carrier shall be liable for wall or floor damage."
If customer will have full valuation purchase, we will count deductible for each item, floors and walls damagesIn this case we will not
I have a pleasure to inspect each itemnothing was seriously damage or broken. Yes, few items had small scratches on the corners what is easy to repair, sofa's leg came out on the old glue connection but again, little glue and a screw will resolve the problem
Damages was such simple so I have offered to customer our repair teamAgain customer did not spend anything to purchase additional insurance that's will give her right for such a service but I have offered her our repair team for her satisfactionNo, obviously it was not good enough and after few emails from her with some ridicules demands for repair company background and insurance contact we have realized there is nothing we can in this caseAgain customer have refused repair service we have offered for not really valued furniture with some minor scratches on the corners
I wish to point customers match calculations are obviously wrongIf you have purchased sofa for $does not mean is worth $Each year depreciated value of 8-10% should be removed from the valueThat means years old sofa can be worth just up to $Now does it mean that sofa with broken leg is worth $0? Again wrong, damage is just a percentage of value and some basic leg set in home depot is like $for of them
For the end, basic valuation for cents per pound up to $per item that customer had agreed, customer's damaged was estimated in the range of $60-$total, again small dents and scratches plus leg glueWe are willing to provide credit in this range since customer refused our repair services
