Gift Card Zen is the best gift card selling business on the Internet. They are honest, efficient, and really care for their customers. We are a 501 C 3 charity who always uses their services whenever we need gift cards. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for a decent and reputable place to buy discounted gift cards. We thank them very much for offering this service.

I have been buying gift cards from Giftcard zen for about 2 years, and have placed about 40 separate orders. Overall, they have been great to work with. I appreciate their extended refund guarantee. I have had a few cards that did not work and they have refunded my purchase price promptly.

EXCELLENT. No better, easier way to save some money than to buy a discounted gift card and this is my first choice for gift cards for lots of reasons.
- Website. Easy to navigate, clean and clear, all the info about each gift card and the available options you need are presented right there -- i.e. it's a physical card that must be mailed and you'll get it in a few days, or it's an e-card which can be e-mailed in one hour, or it's another type of card that is only for online purchases, etc.
- Prices. Discounts are pretty much in line with the market and other sites, and also fluctuate as such, but generally I have found for stores I always go to like [redacted], [redacted], [redacted], [redacted], [redacted] and [redacted], they have very good discounted cards.
- Customer service. A few times there's been like a 24 hour delay in getting a card (only an issue if I wanted to buy something electronically from some place on line and had to do it then and there [ie a limited sale]), because Giftcard Zen wanted to call me to verify my gift card purchase. But I mean seriously, are you going to complain that a company is exercising too much security when processing your credit card?! I think not! So I don't mind the precautions they take, it means they are looking out for you and a secure transaction. And any time I've had to contact or speak to customer service, it was always top notch. They are friendly and genuinely concerned. Doesn't just sound / feel like i.e. a call center giving rote responses. ;-)
- Cards are 100% legit. I have now bought over $2,000 worth of cards. Each and everyone has had the exact amount to the penny that Giftcard Zen has stated. I have no worries at all buying here.
This is one of the easiest and best sites to buy discounted cards on. Makes the thrill of shopping and finding a bargain even more fun.

I have purchased discount gift cards from several on-line companies including Giftcard Zen. Giftcard Zen is by far the best I have purchased from! I have purchased e-codes as well as printable gift cards and delivery is amazingly quick, always within an hour and sometimes almost instant to my email inbox. One time there was an issue with a gift card not working on a site which was a change in that retailer's policy, not the fault of Giftcard Zen. I contacted Giftcard Zen and their customer service was polite and took care of the issue quickly issuing a full refund and an apology for my trouble. Right away they changed the remaining gift cards available to reflect the retailers new policy so other customers would not have an issue. I highly recommend Giftcard Zen, they are my first choice when looking to save some money! A+++

Review: I ordered a gift card to PGA superstore on order number [redacted]. The giftcard amount was supposed to be 838.23 and I paid 737.64. I took my giftcard to the merchant and they said it had a zero balance and was worthless as it was reported purchased with stolen goods.

I requested a refund from Giftcard Zen on 5/1. It is now 5/6 and they have yet to credit my credit card.Desired Settlement: I would like a credit for 737.64 to my credit card ASAP.

I have purchased only one gift card so far and I received the valid egift card the same day I ordered it. They have a nice selection of gift cards at competitive prices. Excellent correspondence. It has a one year guarantee on the gift cards while most competitors have only 45/60/100 day guarantees so I do not have to use my cards right away and wait for a sale. Will buy from giftcardzen again.

Very easy to purchase giftcards, and although the digital print out seemed a little shady, the store accepted them just fine.

It was very easy to purchase a gift card. I selected the gift card I wanted to purchase, paid for it using [redacted], and a minute later received a link to download the digital gift card; which worked as expected.

Great service - Prompt delivery.

Review: This company buys and re-sells gift cards with consumers. When GiftCard Zen buys a gift card from a consumer, they make an offer online which is accepted by the consumer. Then the consumer inputs information GiftCard Zen needs to verify the balance on the card. GiftCard Zen says this can take up to two business days. Once the information is verified, they provide postage to have the physical gift cards sent in before releasing a check for the amount offered to the consumer.

On Monday, June 29th, I was offered $200 for $250 in [redacted] Gift Cards (across 5 gift cards with $50 value each). I accepted the offer and input the gift card number for their verification. After a couple of days, I went online to look at the order status. The order indicated, "Offer Made - Awaiting Cards", so I expected to hear back that day in the promised form of communication, email. On the fourth business day, Friday, July 3rd, I received an email stating that my order had been rejected.

When emailing their support team, I received a reply: "It appears we had to pass on these cards as our stock of this merchant is already rather high. My apologies for any inconvenience and have a great day!"

The only issue is, they are still making offers on these gift cards as of time of writing this complaint. If they indeed have too many of these cards, they can simply stop making offers for the card. If the demand is to high, change the offer price to make it lower. Basically, they are trying to have their cake and eat it too. It is their responsibility to track supply and offers they make. Once they make an offer and the amount on the card is verified, it is disingenuous and bad faith to reject their own terms of the offer.Desired Settlement: I ask that they hold to their offer and complete the transaction. I further ask that they re-examine their business practices in light of their "values" posted online //or// remove their "values."

Otherwise they need to add a statement like: "While we try to accept most orders, we can't promise we'll accept yours because we don't adequately monitor our inventory or the offers we make to you. Sorry for the inconvenience."

Once an order has been submitted it is subject to an approval process where we decide whether we would like to accept or decline an order. Due to the high volume of orders coming in our receiving team took more than the typical 2 days to respond to the order and chose to not purchase the mentioned cards. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

They are simply reiterating an ethically compromised business practice. As spelled out in the complaint, standard practice among companies that purchase gift cards is to make an offer to the customer (seller) and then verify the balance of that card before paying out the offer amount. What GiftCardZen wants to do is make an offer and hold it for 2 business days (4 in my case because they were 'busy') to see what the market conditions are for accepting or rejecting that card (NOT simply verifying the card balance). At that point of submitting the card based on their offer, they effectively own the asset of the card because I couldn't sell it elsewhere during that holding period (because if they accept it, they'll want the agreement followed through with the sending of the cards). So, again, they want to have their cake and eat it too.

We have spoken with [redacted] throughout this process and would like to address the issue in his complaint. To confirm, Mr. [redacted] did purchase a gift card from our website on July 23, 2014. The card was sold as a face value of $318.45 to [redacted], Mr. [redacted] was charged through his paypal account $305.65. He contacted us on July 28, 2014 to say that the card was unuseable/ $0 balance. It is absolutely not our intention to sell cards that do not work, however less than 1% of our cards do come back as unuseable. As we buy and sell used gift cards, we do take thorough precautions to verify the cards we sell, however in the nature of our business, we do have a small percent of errors. Each of our cards are guaranteed for one full year. We fully research each card with a problem, and learned that Mr. [redacted] absolutely did NOT use this gift card and refunded him the full purchase price ($305.65) of the card on July 29, 2014. The printable card option is game changing for Gift Card Zen, there are many other gift card sellers but all of them have 1 Business Day SLA but gift card zen delivers printable gift card instantaneously, YES I MEAN INSTANTANEOUSLY....You can purchase while shopping at the store and save MONEY!!!!!

Its the first that I have used this site. Compare to the customer service that I have received here versus another competitor. This site wins hands down. With prompt & professional staff. I do plan to return. And inform my associates about [redacted]

Review: I placed several orders for discount cards. The first two cards seemed to be processed without a problem however all subsequent card orders keep getting cancelled. I contact customer support several times and was eventually told that I was flagged by their security software. I suspect because I was buying many cards from associated sites.

I don't know why I'm being denied as I have an excellent credit rating. I asked customer service how I can get this problem fixed but I got no response.Desired Settlement: I just want to get this issue resolved and I want to know the reason why this happened. I have to believe that there is someone in the company that knows how to correct these type of issues.

Review: I have been fighting with them for a long time and tried to dispute with credit card company too. But they never gave any explanation.

The are selling thousands of unusable/fraudulent gift cards, and I even cant get refund or any answer for the cards.

they would not provide any information of my account balance or refund history, and they always delete all fraudulent gift card information so that we can track them. I have to check all gift cards purchased from them one by one, and all the cards I reported to them as fraudulent cards, some of them they just said refunded already, but I don’t know and don’t have any record from them.

As a valued customer, before I always get a detailed account balance sheet in Excel once I request. I always pay them at a fixed amount, such as $10000, then they sent me cards later. But since my old contact Kenzie recently left the company Giftcardzen, and the other people there would not provide any info about my account balance. And all balance left, transactions and refund info should be on the excel sheet that they never provide any more.

They always sent me lots of fraudulent gift cards, then refund me later, but who knows. And they delete all fraudulent gift card record and I am not able to find them from the account. Later, I only get a check with a little money saying that’s the balance, and the refunds, with no any explanation. I don’t know how they calculated. I might have over $1000 left in my account that they never return back to me after they close it.Desired Settlement: refund and gave an explanation.

Our system indicates that you claimed these cards on 5/28/2015 and were the only individual with access to these cards other than Giftcard Zen inc. Further review of these cards confirmed that they were all redeemed in store at a single Bloomingdales located in Bridgewater, NJ; which is approximately 32 miles from your residence on 6/2/2015 and 6/4/2015. Review: Company Giftcard Zen knowingly false advertised a discount gift card from [redacted]. They advertised it as having $484 .85 left on the card and listed it on GiftCardZen.com for $412.12. I purchased it on their website and paid through [redacted] $412.12 for the gift card. When several days later I received it in the mail. I checked with Academy Sports store immediately and found the gift card has only $3.03 left. When I contacted the company, they gave me runarounds. Up until now I haven't seen any refund. I can provide all proves. When I received the card, the card number and passcode both are visible. They knew before they shipped the card there is only $3.03 left. A quick google search reveals it is a common practice by the company, They will hold onto the ill-gotten money for as long as they can.Desired Settlement: In addition to refund my money, they must publicly apologize to me and all other buyers they have decived in the past. Such apology must be sincere and means they will alter such business practice. The apology must come from the business owner [redacted].

You will only know the difference between gift card resale companies when card have issues.

And Giftcard Zen give super fast resolution and stand behind their product compare to other companies in this fields and transaction is way more pleasant.

I find if there is a small discount difference between the giftcard online, I always use giftcardzen.

Recently [redacted] begin to stop accepting merchandise card as egift card.

Giftcard Zen resolve issue in 10 minutes with about 8 email, really fast respond, I see credit card refund of proportional remaining giftcard balance a few days later.

Compare to Giftcard Zen, [redacted] giftcard still refuse to resolve, and giftcard spread never respond, what a difference!!!

I highly recommend this company.

I purchased a $500.00 [redacted]'s Sporting Goods gift card from Gift Card Zen. I paid $415.00 for it. It came as a merchandise credit which can't be used online, but that was still acceptable because I got such a good deal on it. I went to purchase over $400.00 worth of Christmas gifts (busy store, lots of people in line behind me) and my card that had a $500 balance when I received it (I always check online) had ZERO on it! It was embarrassing and a bit scary. Needless to say I had to pay with a credit card, didn't save the 15% that I had saved on my Gift Card Zen discounted card and left angry. I received a refund from Gift Card Zen but called to find out if they would do anything about the 15% I lost and about the embarrassment and inconvenience that I experienced. Guess what? There policy is that I don't get anything! I'll never buy from them again!

I SOLD giftcard zen two target giftcards worth $3200.00 on 1/25/15 .. I must say that the whole experience was pleasant and professional. After doing extensive research on other vendors I decided on giftcard zen as my best bet – this turned out to be a very good decision. After I contacted them about my $3200 target gc it took them 2-3 days to decide if they were going to accept them. They finally said yes. I sent them the gcs to the address provided and was periodically updated via email on the progress. I was issued a payout of a full 90% on the value in about 10 days … I am so grateful to them .. even [redacted] charges 12.9% (10 plus 2.9%) just on final value fees for any gift card sold - so a full FACE VALUE gc on [redacted] will only net 87.1% (plus big hassle). The guys at giftcard zen were very courteous and professional.. and I’d like the thank them very much for the very generous payout .
