Giftcard Zen

I purchased a gift card for [redacted] in 11/2014. I never received the email certificate for the gift card. Giftcard Zen cancelled my original purchase and told me to re-purchase. I did and it cost me ~ 10% more. My re-purchase gift card was denied at [redacted] in 4/2015 noting that it has a zero balance. I have contacted gift card zen 3 times in the last 6 days to NO avail other than I will see a credit on my credit card. Still no credit on my credit card after 6 days.
giftcard zen is obviously a scam.
Please shut it down.

I have to tell you, GCZ has the best customer service of all Gift

Card vendors. Although they aren't always necessarily the highest discount

(affording me the best deal!), they ALWAYS come close and I continue to use them because they are reliable, responsive, and they provide the best customer support I've ever experienced.

This is the first review I've ever written on here and I couldn't be happier to share my experience. I tell my friends all the time! I just wish there was a referral program!! :)

I love this company. The customer service is great and the deals are amazing. I usually get the printable gift cards within one minute of purchasing them.

They are an excellent business. They have great customer service. I have had issues with 3 different gift cards I ordered and they took care of the problem promptly and efficiently .

Zen is great. They are very quick to response your problems. I have been shopping around all the gift cards at different websites and Zen's service is by far the best.

I have made two purchases from card Zen that involved around 20 different electronic cards all for home depot. I must say I was very nerves about buying gift cards that someone else had the numbers to but, every single one of them worked perfectly. I was also very happy with how fast I received them. I did get a phone call that I missed verifying my first order but, when I called back and left a message my call was returned very quickly and then my cards were promptly sent without any problems. My second order was made at around 2:00 am and my cards were sent to me electronically before 8:00 am. the following morning. So far I give this company an A+. They may run out of stock on cards so you might have to keep checking back but, if they work every time it is worth the extra trouble. On top of all that they happily take PayPal, and sent the gift cards electronically so you can use them that day. I will defiantly be buying from them again.

Review: Want to purchase michaels gift cards as advertised on this site. Was able to put through two orders but 8 orders have failed all with different credit card numbers. Called my credit card company and am told that there is no block on my card and everything is fine. I love giftcardzen! Amazing service

This is the first time I have ever submitted a customer review for anything on the Internet. However, I felt compelled to leave a positive review for Giftcard Zen (GCZ), especially when it's very challenging to find a company that provides great customer service. I sold several gift cards to GCZ and did a lot of research before selecting them. I wanted to sell some unused gift cards, but was hesitant to ship them off to just any company. I was so happy to find an honest and trustworthy company like GCZ.

GCZ exceeded my expectations in every way, from the moment I first called them to the day I received my check in the mail. They keep you informed via email along the way so you know the status of your gift card. The entire process went smoothly, and I received my check in a timely manner. After selling one gift card to GCZ, I decided to sell three other gift cards to them. In the future, I will only sell my gift cards to GCZ. I have developed a good rapport with GCZ so it's just not worth it to me to take a risk with another company.

Unlike some of their competitors, GCZ is very transparent and honest. They provide a phone number, and you can talk to a real person. You also have the option of emailing them. If you have to leave a message, they will call you back quickly. They always called me back within one business hour (that was their policy at the time), and the customer service representatives were outstanding. They were friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and ensured that they addressed any questions thoroughly. I got to know a couple of them well after initially calling, and they made me feel like a long-time customer right away. I truly feel that they are an honest company trying to serve a niche market and provide a much-needed service in today's market of unused gift cards.

I highly recommend GCZ to anyone. I haven't bought any gift cards from the company, but I'm sure the experience would be just as pleasant. Thank you, Giftcard Zen, for a very positive customer experience.

Review: I purchased a gift card in the amount of $148.75 July 12,2015. Order [redacted]. When I received the card, July 16, 2015, I called to verify the balance. It was $0. I have made multiple attempts to reach an employee at giftcard [redacted] via phone, email, or [redacted] messages. All attempts have been unsuccessful.Desired Settlement: I would like for someone from giftcard [redacted] to contact me and give me a full refund.

I offer my apologies for the incident with this card! Our Loss Prevention team started researching this card on July 16th and filed a refund for the card today, July 20th. I have attached a copy of the refund receipt for record keeping. Again, my apologies for the hassle and inconvenience!

Review: I purchased a gift card from this company. When I received it and tried to use it with the vendor (tried on multiple different occasions) the gift card would not work. Very frustrating. I contacted Giftcard Zen and was told I would receive a check in the mail for the amount I paid (a refund). I waited 3 weeks and nothing. I have left 5-10 voice mails and emails for Giftcard Zen ([redacted]) and they refuse to respond or mail out the check for the fraudulent product they sent me which they promised to do.

Invalidity of the gift card number authenticated with [redacted] customer service (800-511-2752). According to [redacted] the gift card code is invalid. I purchased a gift card from Giftcardzen.com(order id: [redacted]) for $102.80 for [redacted].com. I contacted the company, and spoke with [redacted] (and [redacted] too) to verify the gift card no: XXXXXXXXXX7775 (electronic card).He sent an email to verify the number. It still didn’t work on [redacted].com.

I called [redacted] twice, and spoke with them the same day (March 6, 2014). They couldn’t verify the number either, and mentioned it may have been canceled or not identified. They asked me to speak with their Treasury department of [redacted] (###-###-####), who has historical records of all gift card numbers since inception of their gift card program. [redacted] at the Treasury department told me no such number exists in their system. Double-checked it too. I called Giftcardzen the same day (March 6), and [redacted] told me he’ll verify the card number, and get back with me next day, which he didn't, so I followed up asking him the status. I received no reply.

I called him March 10 to find out what is going on. [redacted] told me that he doesn't have the manpower to go through all the physical cards. Not only he didn't do what he said he would, but also makes me think their operation is fishy.

Upon further research on the internet, there have been numerous complaints that Giftcardzen is a fraudulent operation.

2. Revdex.com (BetterBusinessBureau) - 2 negative reviews clearly showing that they have shady business practices.

They claim 100% satisfaction guarantee, which clearly they’ve not demonstrated with me as well as with others.

The fact that company can’t verify the card no. makes me believe it is fake card.

I would recommend every buyer NOT TO buy from this company. They'll give you good customer service making you think it is a decent business, until you find it it a fake card, and they can't even verify the card number.

BUYER BEWARE! I would not recommend them because of their shady business practices.

Giftcard Zen has always been a very pleasant experience. After placing a couple orders and having them processed within a day I became a regular customer.
