Review: My name is [redacted] I have been with Gigmasters for some time now.I have two sites that I am paying for.Every time I send a quote Some one else gets the gig and I am sick of this.I want Gigmasters To put on there web site warning this does not mean that you will get gigs.People put a lot of money in the pockets of Gigmasters and never get any where.I want gigmasters to help me to get paying gigs.Desired Settlement: I want Gigmasters to help me to get gigs that pay me.

I’m very sorry to read about Mr. [redacted] negative

experience with the GigMasters service, however, nowhere in the entirety of all

GigMasters pages do we guarantee that signing up with GigMasters means

guaranteed bookings. Because we are a booking service we assist our members in

advertising and increasing their exposure online, however, final say as to who

get books is always that of the clients who are booking the entertainment for their event,

something outside of the control of GigMasters. Should Mr. [redacted] be

interested, we would be more than happy to help him with good booking practices

to help improve his experience the second time around. We host quarterly webinars with some great information to improve his booking chances as well. If any additional

information is needed, please do not hesitate to contact me regarding this

Review: On September 13, 2015, I put in a request for a Mascot Minion Party Character for an event that I hosted with 100 kids in attendance. The next day I received a call from a vendor of Gigmasters' who indicted that he saw my request for a Mascot Minion Party Character and he was interested in doing my event. As a representative of Gigmasters, he requested that I pay a deposit to lock in the date and we further discuss the time, location, etc. for the upcoming event.

Please keep in mind, that I had worked very hard for the past 8 months building the party theme of the Minion characters through advertisement, party giveaways, etc.

On the date of the event, I had just made an announcement to the kids who were excited and anticipating a surprise guest that we would be one of the Minion characters! Unfortunately, the kids were disappointed and the parents because in walks SpongeBob and a clown! Let me just state that it was downhill from that point on. The SpongeBob character costume was dirty and the kids were disappointed. I confronted the manager and told him that I was not happy and I want a refund or discount. He claimed that he had called, I review my phone and he called at 4:16pm and his scheduled arrival timeframe was for 4:30pm. For the record, the manager was the clown character who was very unprofessional and stole one of the t-shirts from my event. The very next day I contacted Gigmasters and they informed that they would of refunded me the money but I did not book through them. I indicated that I had booked through them because your vendor indicated and worked for them as well. They told me that was not their protocol or policy to have vendors make side deals. I informed them that his falsely represented the company because he had me believe as the client that he worked for them. This matter is still pending and they don't want to take ownership of the vendors that are hired from their agency. This whole ordeal affected the kids because they expected the Minion character to only see a dirty costume performer of SpongeBob. Instead of stepping in and resolving this matter, Gigmasters and the vendor are just finger pointing at each other. The sad part about this situation, the vendor is still listed on their website! The vendor in question is [redacted], they are falsely representing Gigmasters services. Finally, Gigmasters has been put on notice about his false representation and he still works as a vendor for them.Desired Settlement: Full Refund

Review: Yes I am writing this bacause I was looking for a singing telegram for my girlfriends birthday surprise party I was looking online and came across a site called gigmaster witch hires entertainment are vendors for events I enter my info and a vendor got back to pretty quick I talked with him and decided to hire him for the event I told him what I wanted and he said no problem I also stated I would not be present and can he take pictures he said no problem that he knew somebody but it would be an extra charge I said ok no problem so I told him everything I wanted on the card witch he did not put in the card I also said I wanted flowers instead of baloons and he also charge my credit card several time because he messed up had to call my bank and fix everything so after all that the date of the event came up on aug 12th. she liked it so I wasent really to mad that all this lil stuff was happening but still havent recieved any pictures so itryed calling him he said that he would send them to my phone I said thought u knew somebody who was a pphotographer he said no ima just use a friend to take the pictures off my phone he said not to worry its a really good phone I said ok. So a week after the event still no pictures I left him three messages including my contact info and personel email and evertime I tryed contacting him no anwser are when I did he would say hes not at the office but he would send them right away so that being said I still have no picture so this was my last time trying to reach out to him so I tryed one more time today aug 15 at 8:20am I spoke with him he said not to worry he would send the video today forshore I said videos wheres the pictures he replyed I just did a video I said u know what ever ok so am I going to get it definitely today I said yes the time is now 5pm and I have nothing in my email once again. So then I contacted gigmasters and told them all the problem I was having with one of there vendors she was really helpful but she said there not much she could do but try and contact him as a third party and find out was going and they could not give me a refund because I spoke with the vendor and not throu them witch is really confusing because I got everything throu there web site so now I guess im just out of 60 bucks?? They have all my info on file and the vendors to I just dont know what to do anymore.Desired Settlement: Finish the job are a refund for the whole hassle

Review: I hired this company 2 months in advance. Confirmed the day before and they were a no call/ no show. This company was hired to show up at my 8 year olds birthday party. One hula dancer and one drummer. I was incredibly upset with this horrible business and I was hoping this would leave a negative inpact on future shows they book. Saving someone un-necessary heartache!Desired Settlement: How can you settle? This was total heartache for my 8 year old. All 60 guests, and myself!!

Let me start by telling you how terribly sorry I am that the GigMasters vendor you booked ([redacted]) for your event failed to show up to your event. The feedback you left for them was appropriate and is published on their GigMasters profile. One issue I'd like to clear up is the deposit. You mentioned in your feedback that you were promised that your deposit would be returned. Have they returned your deposit yet? You did not pay your deposit through GigMasters, however, I'll personally try and help you get it back from them if you're still waiting on it. How much was it?

I have to say, I'm shocked that [redacted] failed to show for your event. They've been a GigMasters member for nearly five years, and have never received negative feedback from GigMasters users. Did they offer you an explanation of why they didn't perform at your event? Did they apologize? I feel horribly about this situation, particularly because it was your daughter's birthday party. Review: I have been a gigmasters subscriber for the last few years on and off. I have only booked one gig to date. I have spent somewhere around $800 in subscription fees during my membership terms. My complaint is that the system is rigged for money. Unless you have a featured profile or tons of reviews you are not getting gigs. I only get gig offers if auto add is selected. When the gig comes in, it is always in a style that I don't do, so I don't bid. I have called a few times and spoke to representatives about tweaking my profile to get more leads. I have tried listing myself in multiple different cities and states with no better luck. I would like to cancel my account and receive a refund for the unused portion of my account and I will be done once and for all with gigmasters. I have tried to make this site work and it is of no value to me. I really wish I made this discovery a few years ago before I kept renewing. If gigmasters doesn't make this right, I will share my experience on thegearpage.net, harmonycentral.com, facebook, twitter, and any other site I can find including ripoffreport.com and pissedconsumer. I do not want any upgrade to my account, I would dispute the charge, but it is past the deadline, I already called my credit card.Desired Settlement: I would like my account closed and a refund of the unused portion.

GigMasters service. Our records indicate that [redacted] has been a member of

GigMasters, on and off, since 10/19/2011. In that time we have always had a very clear 30

day money back guarantee policy, wherein anyone who is dissatisfied with

service can request a full refund within said time frame. Mr. [redacted] purchased

his current membership on 5/7/2015, well past the 30 day window.

GigMasters does not ever guarantee

bookings. GigMasters provides event leads to our members and does its best to assist all members in getting booked for

events. That said, the final decision of who gets booked for these events is ultimately that of

the client, which GigMasters has no influence over.

I would be happy to assist Mr. [redacted] in improving his

experience with our service or perhaps offering him some sort of compensation

in the form of additional time on his membership period, should he be

5 years is more than enough time to realize that this service is a waste of money. Also, featured profiles weren't being pushed when I originally signed up like they are now. Not only have the rates significantly increased, but now, because I don't have a featured profile, no one is going to ever look at my profile. I have called and spoke to a few of your bozo employees that had no ideas to generate more traffic to my profile. I know its not my location since there are others nearby getting gigs and reviews. It is because my account was created in 2011 with one review and performers with more reviews are getting views as well. The system is flawed on so many levels and I do not want to be part of it no longer. Please make this right with a partial refund or I will have share my experience on a few websites. This company is making so much money it is not even funny. A small refund, probably, $50 is not going to break you.

Review: Unscrupulous business practice.Billing for services never authorized.Back in the June of 2012, I did a Google search for a steel drum band for an event in May 2013 My Google search resulted in up to 8 viable contacts, GigMasters being one of them. GigMasters followed up in June 2012 by requesting that I confirm my email so that the vendors they contract with could contact me.This I did, but at this point was unaware of any "booking fee" that I would be responsible for.This is also the last time, June 2012, that I contacted them before the event.After compiling a list from my Google search of 4 possible vendors, 2 of witch were associated with GigMasters, I did some evaluating and contracted directly with one of the vendors in July 2012(they happen to be one of the vendors named by GigMasters). We did not use the GigMasters booking service. And as detailed in there bid email, we were not entitled to the Accountability, Payment Security and Customer Support of GigMasters Buyer Protection package. As the months leading up to the event pasted GigMasters kept sending me unsolicited emails that contained "form letter" style or incorrect information.Then, in May 2013, two days before the event, GigMasters sent me an invoice for 5% of the booking fee. I feel that this invoice represents payment for services that were never requested (emails) or services never provided (booking, customer support, or buyer protection).I have since contacted them several times (phone and email) to try to setting this matter. They keep sending me a generic copy of their contract terms, of witch they have no record of me authorizing. I have also offered to pay them a finders fee for making the first contact with the vendor but to no avail. They continue to send daily demands for payment.Desired Settlement: I would like to pay a reasonable fee for the service they provided.
