Enterprise charged my debit card for coverage on my rentalI only agreed to the coverage if [redacted] insurance paid for the coverageI gave them my debit card information to withdraw the deposit for the car that was rentedThey used my card information to withdraw money for optional coverage I disputed this chargeThe fine print states that I acknowledge that I have reviewed and agree to all charges and fees listed on the summary of chargesWhen I asked the representative about this agreement, he stated that because his was an insurance claim, I have to agree to these charges for enterprise to be able to bill Farmers insuranceI did not agree for Enterprise to charge that amount to my debit card I would also like to add that the paperwork that was sent to my bank is not the correct paperwork I signedThe tablet that the representative used was not working properly, and he said he could not submit the forms necessary, which required him to manually fill out the agreements

I GOT A BILL ON MY CREDIT CARD TODAY WHEN I WAS NOT EVEN IN THE FACILITY NOR DID I RENT A CARTHE PUYALLUP, WA STORE STATES THEY DID NOT PLACE A CHARGE ON MY ACCOUNT BUT THE CREDIT CARD COMPANY SAYS THEY DID! From August 24, to August 31, 2018, I rented the car (RA# ***) from Enterprise at 3rd Ave, Seattle, Washington This is a vacation trip between myself and my wife (***) to visit Seattle, WA and Vancouver, BC for the first time The vehicle license plate number was incorrectly entered into Enterprise Rent-A-Car system The correct license plate was Nevada *** for a silver color Nissan Altima There was a small dirty towel hanging along the driver seat adjustment handle I handed the dirty towel over to the person who handled my car rental This Enterprise Rent-A-Car personnel also took a series of pictures for the record on the condition of the rental car at the time of our rental
After I returned home, my credit card billing statement showed a series of toll and moving violations from the area near Denver, Colorado I immediately called Enterprise Rent-A-Car and requested the correction to these errors I also called

On 10/17/the transmission went out in my car while driving to work and I needed to rent a car while it was being repaired I searched online for the best deals and chose Enterprise, located in Pullman, WA I found a car online listed for that location for $29.99/day Then I called the phone number listed on the web page and made the reservation
When I arrived I was told that there weren't any $29.99/day cars available, the cheapest they had was nearly $50/day I complained about advertising and was told, "Most of our customers like the free up-grade." I pointed out that it wasn't a free upgrade because they weren't charging me $29.99/day, they were charging full price for the car Before I left, my name was taken and I was told that I would be called as soon as cheaper car came in, and then I could swap cars
The following day, still no call, but the cheaper cars were still appearing on the website I called to reserve the cheaper car and was told those prices were only available online, by making the reservation over the phone I made myself ineligible for the lower rate, if I wanted a car for $29.99/day I would have to make the reservation and pay via their online system
Following this advice, I canceled my reservation for the expensive car and tried using the online system Everything worked, but I couldn't pay online I called and pointed out that I couldn't pay online and was told I could give them my credit card number over the phone
On 10/when I brought the car back I was told, again, that they didn't have any $29.99/day cars available I got upset and pointed out that I asked to be put on a wait list, then jumped through a lot of hoops to cancel the current reservation and make another one online for the purpose of getting the $29.99/day price
At that point I was told, "We don't even keep those smaller cars on the lot because everyone really likes getting the free upgrades to the bigger cars."
I pointed out once again that it wasn't free because I wasn't being charged the rate I was quoted online I was being charged more and that when I reserve a car for $29.99/day, I expect that is what I will get The girl behind the counter said that she would honor the $29.99/day price, but that it was against policy to take credit card numbers over the phone, so my reservation was null and void She said that she needed to physically needed to have the card in hand
I didn't have my credit card with me at the time, and didn't have enough money in my checking account to cover it with my debit card because, in addition to the cost of the rental and the security deposit they took previously, they needed a second security deposit I asked why they couldn't apply the previous security deposit to the new car since I was returning the other one at the same time and was told that was against company policy I told them that was ridiculous, I had followed every step they had given me and every time they say the would honor the $29.99/day price I booked at, they came up with another hoop to jump through to keep me in the more expensive car and that I was advertising to offer cars for $29.99/day on the website, then refuse to honor the reservation
The girl at the counter said there was nothing she could do because it was corporate policy, but assured me I would get the lower rate if I came back one more time
Once again I left their location, this time going to my bank and transferring the money from my savings account to my checking account Then I returned to the Enterprise location with my debit card and a completed online reservation
When I walked in the door I was told that they had been in touch with their manager and didn't like being accused of advertising, so they were refusing to rent any car to me, regardless of price
I had to walk over a mile back to work in the rain all because they didn't want to honor the price they were advertising on their website and for which I had a reservation
After I got back to work I rented a car from ***got the car listed online, at the price listed online, and have had no troubles since I will NEVER rent a car from Enterprise again From now on I will ALWAYS use***
