My fiance bought my engagement ring from Brilliant Earth and it is absolutely perfect! He chose a setting with some smaller accent diamonds around the main center diamond, but substituted those small diamonds out for sapphires (my birthstone!), making my ring unique but very still elegantly styledThey provided my fiance with great service and the ring was delivered on time and exactly how he wanted it, and once I saw the ring I realized it was exactly what I wanted, too! They also had great customer service and response time when we were talking to them about a resize (my fiance ordered it a little too big for my finger - obviously not their fault)Highly recommend that you check them out! We plan to order our wedding bands from Brilliant Earth as well

Bought an obscenely expensive engagement ring, for the quality that arrivedIt turns out their white gold is cut with SO much nickel, it flared up my nickel allergy to the point that it was unwearableI tried to send it back and have it reset in a material that wouldn't break me out in a rashThey told me they would upgrade it to platinum, but "conveniently" neglected to tell me that this would be an extra $until I had already sent the ring to themI posted a negative review of my experiences with the ring and their shoddy customer service, and was contacted by a higher upI will never forget the abusive tone she used with meHere's an inkling: "JUST TAKE IT DOWNNOW."
After months of trying to work on getting my engagement ring reset so that it would no longer physically harm me, it became apparent that the company would not work with me unless I signed an NDAThat's a non-disclosure agreement that included both never posting A WORD of my experience, positive or negative, and also never TELLING ANY FRIENDS OR FAMILYI had them return the ring on principleI'm getting it reset by a company I trustI've never had such a traumatic experience with a company, and for lord's sake, it was over my engagement ringFrom my experience, I can deduce three things about Brilliant Earth:
They have a terrible product
They know it
They continue to sell it and appear respectable by bullying customers who run into their batch inconsistency and terrible customer service into not discussing their experiencesIf you have been wronged by Brilliant Earth, as I was, please have the courage to do as I did and refuse to sign an NDAPlease discuss your experience with as many people as possible, in as many mediums as possibleDo not let this awful company continue to thrive off abusing their customersP.SBE employees - I have a screenshot of your NDA, unsigned, and have told everyone I know about this experiencePlease do not attempt to contact meI will never take this review down, no matter what crap you offer me in exchangeI have more respect for myself than you have for anyone

I love my ring! My fiance proposed with a gorgeous Brilliant Earth oval diamond in rose gold setting with pave diamondsThe diamond may be the most beautiful diamond that I've ever seen and the setting is perfect for my fingerI can't stop looking at it and have caught strangers doing the same Even the wood box that it came in was gorgeousThanks Brilliant Earth!

My ring is just stunning! We spent months looking for the perfect ring and probably visited a dozen stores and looked at hundreds of settings and diamonds before finding the perfect set at Brilliant Earth Everyone we talked to at Brilliant Earth was friendly and supportive and not at all pushy unlike the other stores we visited I got the sense that they really cared about finding the best option for me instead of just trying to make the sale We really liked that they seem to spend the time to curate their collection Several of the stores we visited either had hundreds of almost identical and boring settings or were so called luxury brands that had only a handful of styles and nothing to offer to allow us to make it unique and our own Brilliant Earth had interesting and unique styles with enough of a selection to give me good options to consider The diamonds also seemed really well chosen They have thousands on their website but invest the time to recommend specific options that are really beautiful and well cutI can't believe how much my diamond sparkles! The prices were also very attractive compared to the other stores where we shopped but I like that the prices are set so we weren't worrying about whether we had negotiated the best price The store experience was also quite unique as they have an upper floor showroom where you can schedule an appointment to look at your choices with one of their jewelry experts The experts were very knowledgeable compared with other places we shopped and didn't rush us at all while we considered our options The store itself was serene and calming, almost like a spa Like the jewelry, the decor was well chosen and wasn't laughably opulent or cheesy like other storesI guess it doesn't surprise me that a few of my friends also have rings from Brilliant Earth I also think there mission is pretty coolI'm not the greenest person in the world but it's nice to know that my ring is coming from a good place and this company is also giving backOverall I couldn't be happier with my experience with Brilliant Earth

I went to purchase a bracelet for Christmas at Brilliant Earth and I had the most exceptional service and had to come on here and write a reviewFrom the moment I walked into my appointment they made me feel valued and I could not be happier with my purchase and experience

I've purchased a few items from Brilliant Earth and have always had the best experienceThey have a great selection of beautiful, high quality itemsI've worked with *** in the past and he's incredibly knowledgeable and patient, answering all my questions and following up with detailed emails giving me plenty of time to make my final decisionOnce I've purchased, the communication continued to be efficient and both times I received my items ahead of scheduleHighly recommend placing your jewelry wishes in the hands of BE!

Thrilled with the experience from start to finish! I have a gorgeous ring I will love forever thanks to *** ***, and the fabulous team at the DC Brilliant Earth locationMy fiance and I had considered dozens and dozens of settings, and by the time we came to Brilliant Earth, I was pretty sure I wanted to go non-traditional with a sapphire or other non-diamond stoneNot as common an option, so I didn't find a lot I liked in stores like *** or *** and had very bad experiences with pushy sales associates trying to get me to max out my budget and buy a huge stone I didn't wantMaking an appointment online was super easy, and then I got a follow up call to confirm and during that call they asked about particular stones or settings I was interested in seeing, which turned out to be really helpful when we got thereOur customer associate was a lovely lady named *** *** who made the whole experience really wonderful and memorable for both of usShe was extremely knowledgeable about stones and setting optionsWhen we first walked in, I was intimidated by the size of the display case, but she asked me lots of good questions, and helped us move quickly through the case so we weren't exhausted, but in a way that didn't make me feel rushed at allI really felt like I got her full attention and she was following along with everything I was saying about what I was looking for, providing information without trying to sway me towards anything specificI ended up falling in love with a setting called the *** I hadn't even really considered when I was looking online, but loved the minute I put in on in real lifeThen we talked stones, but I wasn't able to make a final decision until coming back two weeks later, and finally choosing a natural blue sapphireOne thing I loved, was that since sapphire is a popular alternative for diamonds, they actually had a *** with a sapphire setting right there that I could try on the first time we went, and I'll admit I loved it right then and there but it took me a few more weeks to make the final decisionAll in all, a fantastic experience, ended up purchasing the *** with a matching contour wedding band (they have so many good matching band options!)Thank you ***, and Brilliant Earth for helping me find a ring I will love forever! Will absolutely be recommending BE to friends and family!

I absolutely loved my ring as soon as my fiancé proposed with itI was extremely careful with it, taking it off before exercising, cleaning, sleeping, showering, etcI was extremely disappointed after only wearing it for a month and a half that am accent stone fell outLuckily we needed to send the ring for resizing so the timing worked outI will still uneasy about the fact that I took such great care of my ring and this soon in the ring already isn’t holding up when it should last me a lifetimeThe representative that took my ring told us not to worry it would be fixed and back to me in 2-weeksweeks later my ring was returned to meI went the first week hearing nothing until I started calling around to even find where my ring wasOnce it made it to headquarters I was told 2-weeks for repairs and once again told nothing until I checked back inFinally the week came for my ring to arrive and we received a call it shipped stating we would get an email with a tracking numberThat email didn’t come until 10pm when the ring was already on a plane thankfully headed to the correct addressLuckily I did receive the ring back in great condition and perfectly cleaned but I am still worried and reading all the other reviews about diamonds falling off this is not the end of our repair historyFingers crossed this is the one and time and if it is not the BE will stand behind their product and fix it

1.) I originally purchased a diamond that was a bit too small and sent it in for a replacementOnce they received the old diamond they preceded to charge me $for a certificate fee that they never sentAfter multiple calls and emails were ignored I finally reached a very snarky "customer service" representativeHer name is *** ***She said she would assist with relieving the charges but ultimately ignored all of my follow up emailsThen I was sent too another customer service representative and her name was *** ***She too proved to be incredibly inefficient at her job and rude2.) I was given the date of the 25th and the day before was told that the replacement diamond I picked out was defectiveSo you put a defective diamond on the internet? So they preceded to tell me that they have a diamonds that I can pick from and if I chose any diamond outside of that group that I would have to wait longerNow, this is after they had my diamond for a monthSo I chose one of the four and they refused to send it to me on the correct date and are now making me wait for basically another monthThey refuse to help with their customers, they lack attention to detail which is important in the diamond business, and they ultimately will rob you if given the chance (as seen by the certificate issue)Fix yourself Brilliant Earth

I tried to buy a ring from brilliant earth, and wated to use their wells fargo financing optionI was told they could not verify my identity due to a lack of "online pressence"; although wells fargo approved meBrilliant earth asked me to verify my identity (not wells fargo the creditor) through information on my significant others name, my mothers name, and other personal information that any retailer would reasonably ask a customerI refused to provide the information; so they cancelled my order So I bought a nearly identical ring for 1/3rd of the cost

BUY FROM THIS COMPANYMy ring came today, WITHOUT A CERTIFICATION and had lint stuck to it (witnessed at the un-boxing by two people) AND NONE of the incentive items which I was told would ship together cameThis company is a JOKEWhere the hell is my certificate for this stone? What kind of SCAM is this??? BEWARE BEWARE BEWAREANY "certified" stone you get that doesn't come with a certificate so you can cross check it with your own jeweler is a SCAMTheir promises are LIES and they are thieves of happinessThis ring is going to a jeweler to get checked out, but given what a horrific experience this has been, with such a blatantly deceptive company it will likely have to be sent backPlease, don't ruin this happy time by giving your money to crooks and liarsI cannot stress this enoughWhy this company has waged war against me, I do not know10/27- I got a call from a different rep last night, asking how things were going with the process and what she could do to make this situation betterShe listened to the entire story and I explained how I think there's a huge lapse in reps doing what they promise they will (even when in writing)In the end she asked what she could doI felt it was a trap because they never offer anything on their own, but wait for the customer to ask for thingsI told her a few times that she should tell me what can be doneIn the end, I asked for my package to come sooner and for a metal upgrade but that could not be doneOriginally my package was to come 10/31, with a the last rep telling me it would be expedited to 10/Emails all showed 10/31, and now it's coming 10/We will see!
Update 10/26- I called this morning and a rep was able to send me the correct, complete invoiceI want to believe there was an honest mistake here with the email, but considering I have emails back and forth with one specific rep, it's hard to imagine anyone is that easily confusedThe original email was under my boyfriend's emailWhen we started running into problems we called and had all correspondence go through me insteadIt has been through me since, but it appears this invoice was still sent to his emailLet's not get into common sense issues here, but if I was writing with someone consistently I would continue to use that email which was supposed to be updated as the primary instead of reverting backJust meBut then again I don't make mistakes like thisMy order should be here mid week next week, I will update if it actually shows up or if we have yet another round of problemsat a glance:

In August of my now husband purchased a diamond and ring setting from Brilliant EarthLess than a year later, and while on my honey moon, one prong broke off of my ring and two others were damaged and the diamond fell out never to be foundObviously upset, I called Brilliant Earth to let them know what happened and to my surprise they only asked if the ring was insured and when they found out it wasn’t said there was nothing they could doI insisted that there must have been a problem with the ring because I hadn’t even hit the ring and felt there was no reason for the damageThey told me to send the ring back in and they would look at itI was reluctant to send the ring back in because I was so off put by their lack of customer service but my husband and I decided it was the right thing to doUltimately it was notThey sent a confirmation that they received the ring but that was the only communication until we harassed them for an answerThey insisted the damage was my fault and offered to repair it AT FULL PRICEI refused to give the company anymore of my money and asked them to ship it back ASAP so I could start the process of finding a jeweler to fix the ring for me (once I bought a replacement diamond)I was told I would have the diamond by the end of the weekI did not get the ring back for over a month and only after more than a dozen callsI dragged my feet for a while before bringing the ring into a jeweler because the whole situation had left me with such a bad taste in my mouth but when I finally did the jeweler said the damage to the ring was Brilliant Earth’s faultThe basket on the ring was too small for the diamond and as a result when cutting the prongs to hold the diamond they cut them too deepThis mistake caused the loss of the diamond to be inevitable (according to the jeweler, certainly within 2-of the purchase, no matter what)I strongly recommend that no one purchases a ring from this company, their workmanship is shameful, and their customer service is even worse
