Review: I find out AFTER I've paid this business just over $40 to prefill a form online for a replacement SScard for my daughter that I don't have to even pay for the form if I go to my local Social Security office. I paid Govservices to fill a form like PDF and AFTER I paid them it told me to print that form and send it and other proper i.d. such as a certified birth certificate to my local office. My local office sent it all back to me in the mail, including the pre-filled form I printed from Govservices and the certified copy of my daughter's birth certificate that I enclosed. Their cover letter said I didn't send proper identification to issue a replacement card. I called the local SS office and a person there told me to come to the their office with my daughter's driver's license (16 year old) and mine to get her a new card. I paid Govservices $40+ (with tax or shipping whatever) for nothing. More importantly, I don't know who this company is that has no phone number to complain to but they have the most important information regarding my child and it was a scam where I'm concerned. They should not be allowed to run this business since I've found out they are not supported by the Social Security Administration. People's important information could be compromised. Review: I went online to get a new social security card, and I found this website....which is set up to look like a government website...with the govservices.us url. I entered my SS number and that of my parents, as they set up the first page to look like you just fill in the info and then hit submit, for a new card. I knew that there was no charge for a replacement card. Well, AFTER you submit your info, THEN they put up a page with the credit charges, when there was no previous mention that it would cost me. That is when I first realized that I had been duped by a site that was set up to look official.

I am very concerned that I have put out that private personal info to a site that may or may not respect my privacy. Then I went to their contact us page to try to get them to delete me from their database, and it would not let me submit my request.

I want to make sure that my private info is destroyed, can you please help me?Desired Settlement: Verifiable assurance that my data has been destroyed. Review: I ordered an EIN through this company, thinking that it was an IRS site. I made a credit card payment of 197 and received an EIN within the 60 minute timeframe. However, the form was filled out incorrectly, which meant incorrect information was sent to the IRS and the EIN could not be validated. They input the entity as "disregarded entity", which is the crux of the validation issue. I needed EIN right away. However, I've lost the whole weekend and now I have to make the correction by US Mail; I can't update the form online. My primary issue is that the company was unethical in their business practices, by misrepresenting themselves as a government agency. The -gov.us in the URL makes their intentions obvious. The disclaimer at the end is obscured by a promotional message that covers it. Also, they have designated someone as my representative, Kay Logan, whom I have not authorized. I am able to represent myself, so I would have not reason to accept that term.Desired Settlement: I am seeking a full refund of the 197 payment. Review: I used their website for what is labeled as "expedited service" to change my name on my social security card. I was charged $39.00 for this service. Upon charging my card, the service provided was a form that's the same as the one you get for free from the social security government website. This company doesn't do anything regarding an expedited service. The social security office explained to me that there is NO SUCH THING AS AN EXPEDITED SERVICE so Govservices Corp. is is misinforming customers and conducting fraud on a federal level regarding social security cards. The social security office recommended I call Govservices Corp and ask them for a refund and if that did not work file a complaint with the Revdex.com. I contacted my bank, but the money was taken from my account right away. I have called and called ovservices Corp via phone calls and there is always a voice mail and no one returns my calls. Review: This website is very misleading and should not be existing. I was trying to expedite a replacement social security card and google led me to this site first. I was desperate to get a replacement so I can be shipped off for boot camp. I needed my social security card to be shipped off. Review: I looked up the phone number for my local Social Security Office and found the number and the address perfectly. What I also found was an indication that I could file my information online rather than having to go to the office in person. I then entered all the information and then hit submit. The next screen asked for money. $39 for filing and processing-regular rate; 10-15 days. $49 for express services. It was only after I submitted my payment that I read the disclaimer at the bottom that indicated that they were not affiliated with the actual government office. I am extremely angry! I talked with an agent named Bert at the Social Security Administration in Idaho Falls, Idaho and he told me that this site is a fraud and that I am the second person today that has been duped into this scam.Desired Settlement: I want my money refunded. Review: Provided all personal information to get a replacement Social Security card online & No service was provided and I ended up going in SS office anyway

ON 9/16/2013 applied online for a replacement SS card and paid $39. 1) I thought I was dealing with a real government site because of the name "govservices.us" and I paid my $$ and submitted all my personal info thinking I would get a new SS card in the mail. About a week later, I did not receive the card and mailed in my app with a copy of my license. On Oct 1st, I got a letter from local SS office stating that they do not accept copies and would have to come into the office in person. The whole point of doing this online is because I work 32 miles from the office and I wanted to avoid having to not take a 1/2 day off from work to go to the SS office during regular business hours but I ended up having to do that anyway. I was told by the SS office that there should NEVER be a charge for a replacement card and the rep at the SS office suggested that I report this online company/site to the Revdex.com. Now I am worried that my pertinent personal information is out there now and hopefully my identity does not get compromised. I was able to get a phone # and did call the site and they verified their physical address of where they work out of. I feel this site was very deceiving and there was absolute No follow up as to whether I received the item/serice I ordered or applied for online.Desired Settlement: I did dispute this charge of $39 with my credit card company and faxed them my dispute letter and copies of the receipt from online when I ordered so hopefully they will be able to recoup my money.
