[I believe that Great Destinations was not truthful with how there program works. They did not let me know all of the work you would have to put into your vacation and that you would have to wait to see if you would be able to go to the desired destination. Everytime I try to plan a vacation, my desired destination is not available. I have points to use with nowhere to go. I was made a lot of promises and to date have not been able to plan my trip. My position is that I have been mis-lead and continue to have to come out of pocket to pay for vacations and travel. I would like the staff at Great Destinations to provide me with a solution that involves me selling my time share or a full refund of my money. I have spoke to others that have joined this company and they are equally disappointed.]

For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear AS discussed in my last conversation with *** with Great DestinationThe hotel experience was only one of the problems, I only attended the owners class to speak with someone regarding my ownership since I was unhappy, who then told me someone would call me regarding my concerns and no one didI have been paying monthly and even tried to use the membership for a second time, and there was no availability, I was offered a different weekend that did not work, I booked the resort in hopes to rearrange my life schedule which did not work, I was told clients are able to travel when they want and that is not trueI feel this company have lied and withheld information to get people to purchase this time share and when I called to discuss no one wants to address the issues till now since I've contacted the Revdex.comI am not happy with this service I felt pressed to purchase after being held at the facility for over hoursIt's no wonder the seller's don't allow you to do research before purchasingIn my last conversation with *** with great destinations he was going to gather the information and call me back, and I have yet to receive a phone callHis only solution that day was for me to default my accountGREAT DESTINATIONS, does not care about the service they provide only about getting people to sign up and take there moneyThis is the worst experience

I don't feel that the company addressed all of my concerns that I outlined in my original complaint. They have chosen only to address the most recent issue that concerns our attempt to use our timeshare to go to Maui in October, which we have been waiting since February to have fulfilled. I understand that they have made another offer, however the other offer was a one bedroom, not a two bedroom and it was only a star (if that) accommodation, not a star as they have sold us over and over again when we purchased our timeshare. We are traveling with my severely special needs daughter which requires more space then a one bedroom hotel room. We need a decent size kitchen, laundry facilities, and space to allow all her medical equipment that is required to travel with her, not to mention her nurse and my parents who are also traveling with us. We also have additional family members who are meeting us over there and the location that Great Destinations offered us is not close to where the rest of our family would be staying, which is why I requested the three other hotel choices that were available to us in our Great Destinations/Interval International guide book.This aside, their response back did not address the two hard inquiries on my credit report, the unsecured personal loan instead of the promised "mortgage loan" when we purchased the property, and the inability to use our timeshare on different occasions since purchasing it back in December, 2014. Mr*** *** in their customer care department sent me an email today stating that they will begin a the buy back process, however, they have not stated all the details as to what that includes or what it involves, or if they will be addressing the other concerns in regards to my credit report. I'm hoping that the process will be expedited so that I can use any monies I've already put out to Great Destination returned in order to pay for the hotel accommodations that I now need to pay for by October, 2015. This entire purchase with them has been more then stressful and not at all enjoyable like we hoped it would be when we made the purchase. My boyfriend and I were really hoping it would afford us the ability to travel more and relieve our stress instead of create additional stress in our daily lives

For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I am not pleased with the survice that Great Destinations offers, The complaints fail to mention the experience I had when first trying to use their extending survices with Great Destination through intervalThey stated in their presentation they offer and star rating hotes and I was sent to stay at a starWhen I called to complain to Great Destination nothing was done, That day I had to drive back home because other hotels were bookedAfter this experience the co ower on the accout no longer wanted to deal with Great DestinationsI called several time to complain to the Woodland Hills office and received no call backI attended a New Beginners class after several attempts no one would respondAt the meeting I was able to speak with the Gentleman regarding my concerns and he promised me he would have someone call me back within the next week I have not spoken with anyone till now, and that is only because of the complaint I have place here at Revdex.comOn December 18, I spoke with a gentleman and Informed him of my concers with how I felt pressured into getting this timeshare, the offers presented at the presentation does not add up to what is being given, they stated in the presentation you are able to traval when you want and they have plenty of availiability which is not true . The Gentalmen's answer to me was to stop making payment on the account and let it go into defaultThis is a futher dissapointment in Great Destination and why I no longer want to be apart of this companyI expalind to him I have good credit and I work hard to keep it that way, the gentleman stated he would call me back because he didn't have all my information infront of him and I have yet received a call back

I have not refused to speak with them; I have simply asked to keep our communications in writing. Considering the issues I face are based on being given and exaggerated information verbally, I have every right to not want to speak on the phone about this.Furthermore, Great Destinations has not been addressing my concerns they have been trying to dismiss them instead, based on the contractual papers I was coerced into signingThe sales staff found no reason to tell us about the cancellation period, which prevented us from knowing we needed to review the contractual papers with haste. Even if we had reviewed it, we would not have been able to realize the full extent of their misrepresentations. Furthermore, we have two completely different rescission periods outlined in the contract.If we had any idea that it would be such a hassle to use this membership we never would have signed upWe cannot travel to other locations easily and if we do there are fees involved we were never aware of.Great Destinations can easily make this right by taking back our membership and returning our moneyIn turn, they can just sell it to someone elseWe were told we got a very good discount that day so they will probably make even more money off someone else if they charge the original price. [I have not received any calls from anyone in a effort to resolve my issues. I would welcome a call to resolve my issue and I am willing to speak with someone. The only call I have received is from Interval stating that I owe them money and I strongly believe that I was lied to and misinformed. I would appreciate a sincere attempt to resolve this matter and not just collection calls that allows them to provide more misleading information like a call log. In conclusion this issue is not yet resolved.]

I have accepted this response because, after speaking with you on the telephone, I am under the impression that it was not your presentation that I attended after allI'm not sure how GD got my number, unless they all reach the same database
However, the calls coming from Great Destinations continued after I requested they stopI trust they're going to stop for good nowSince moving to Florida I've done my best to stay away from timeshare rental companies
On the phone you mentioned a Yelp reviewI'm not sure how the Yelp review is involved as I don't think I have used Yelp in several years
