Our service manager spoke with Mr. [redacted] they were able to work out a resolution. Mr. [redacted] was mainly upset with how our office associate spoke to him regarding his outstanding balance. We have agreed to write off his outstanding balance once he withdrawals his Revdex.com complaint and removes his negative...

[redacted] and [redacted] reviews.

Green Lawn Fertilizing is a RIP-OFF!! We spent $500+ last year for various treatments to get our lawn into shape - fertilizing, grub-control, seeding & aeration, etc., etc. Our lawn looked WORSE than it did before we hired these people - bigger weeds, crab grass, brown spots, and bald spots. They say they guarantee the seeding & aeration -- NOT!! They told us that, in order for them to re-seed in the fall, we must continue with their fertilizing service. We then CANCELED the service. So they make an UN-authorized (i.e., they were not invited on the property!) fertilizer treatment in April 2016 and have been harassing me for payment. I agreed to pay half (another $35.00) of that UN-authorized treatment so we could be done with these people once and for all. If I get another email, snail mail, or phone call from Green Lawn Fertilizing, I'm reporting them to the Revdex.com.[redacted]The above review was posted on Yelp. The owner "Dave C." sent a message asking for my phone number and said that he would be reaching out to me. Two days later someone contacted me from the company -- regarding an unpaid balance!!

Our service manager, Mike J[redacted], has been in contact with [redacted] as well as her neighbor. Mike offered for Green Lawn Fertilizing to repair the fence to the neighbor, to which the neighbor said not to worry about it (the damage to the fence I have been told is very minimal). [redacted] has...

told Mike that she feels she has been put into the middle of the situation and is upset about that, but the neighbor, whose fence it is really does not feel the need for any action to be taken place. We are more than happy to take care of the repairs if the neighbor wants us to do so.

Dear [redacted],Thank you very much for your quick response.I am satisfied with the Green Lawn Fertilizing's decision that they are writing off the charge for the unauthorized (by me) fertilizing on April 12, 2014.The other parts of Green Lawn's explanation of the situation are not entirely correct. The reason for my firing Green Lawn was that their service had not been satisfactory. The amount of fertilizers was too small and/or uneven. There were untreated spots.I used to spray broad leaf and crabgrass herbicides myself suplementing the Green Lawn's treatments. In 2013 I asked another company, [redacted] Lawn Service, to do a suplimentary fertilizing in addition to the Green Lawn's 7 fertilizings a year, because my lawn looked so lean.I had enough communications with Green Lawn through telephone, fax and email. In one of our telephone conversation I told them I never gave Green Lawn ari approval for 2014 services. Green Lawn told me that they would find and show the contract document I signed for their fertilizing services in 2014, but they had never done it.Green Lawn says that they asked me what, 1 might consider, was a fair resolution. I consider a fair rewsolution is that they show me the so-called contract. I told them so repeatedly.
Then, Green lawn sent me a bill dated 5/20/2014 for the charge on the unauthorized fertilizing on April 12,2014, when we were disputing the validity of the original charge.Sincerely,
Regards,

We have provided [redacted] free grub control and free aeration and seeding for his lawn in order to remedy the problem. [redacted] told our Operations Manager that this was a satisfactory solution and would withdraw his complaint.

Review: I contacted Green Lawn fertilizing for weed treatment of my lawn. We spoke about various services ( I am a new to lawn maintenance) including aeration and seeding. I was told that the service person would leave me paper work explaining what he had done after the appointment. I scheduled Green Lawn for weed treatment and the guy came and performed the service. No issue.

Twenty days later, I get an invoice from Green Lawn stating that aeration and seeding ($300) service was performed. I was shocked because I didn't authorize the service. I called Green lawn for 3 reasons.

1. My property was fenced and I wanted to know how the service guy got in. It is a security threat for my family if people start jumping over the fence.

2. I wanted to know who authorized the service and why didnt green lawn take my explicit permission to do the service? It is an expensive service that I have to budget for.

3. Why wasn't any paper work left after the service was done? I didnt water the lawn for the next 2 weeks!

Green Lawn's response was as follows.

1.The fence gate was open (something I don't believe it to be true)

2. Green Lawn left a voice message on my phone; (definitely not on my cell phone). For them, that is equivalent to authorizationDesired Settlement: I will pay for weed treatment (because I scheduled it) even though the weed didn't die!

I want Green Lawn to adjust the bill and not bill me for the aeration and seeding service.

To whom it may concern:

This message is regarding customer [redacted] complain ID [redacted]. Even though we have full documentation stating this customer wanted the Aeration service along with a report stating their cell phone was called on 9/20/2013 at 4:09pm and was answered; we understand their could have been some confusion along the way. We are a company that abides by superior customer service. As a result, we will absolutely write off and credit their account $318.00 today, 10/24/2013.

Please contact me as soon as this complaint is resolved.

Review: I asked Greenlawn fertilizing to come out and apply a service on my lawn. Core aeration and seeding, in Fall 2012. Previous to this I had 2 treatments on my lawn through a [redacted] deal, but never enrolled in any type of program. (I was unsatisfied that I saw ZERO results, and the technicians were very careless and didn't care for my entire lawn)

After the core aeration and overseeding, they setup a revolving account for me and began applying a series of lawn care applications to my lawn in spring 2013. I never signed up for this service, and the service for the lawn care program is not connected to the Core aeration and seeding. I never signed a contract or asked for this service but now they are asking me to pay 68.00+ dollars for 2 lawn care treatments which I never requested. After multiple calls with their customer service, a female associate of theirs said she would speak with her manager and try to get the amount due removed or possibly worked out where they could keep me as a future customer. I personally have zero intentions on staying a customer of a company with such poor practices, and now they have submitted my file to a collection agency, which I do not intend on paying. I never signed a contract or asked for their continual services. Please help me with resolving this issue. It seems that I am not the only person that has had issues with this company before.Desired Settlement: All current charges on my account should be removed and I have already asked that if I were to continue any services they would call in advance before showing up unannounced and treating my lawn.

Review: This fertilizer company claims that it fertilized my yard on a particular date. I was home on that day, but no one had come to fertilize my lawn. No one informed me in advance, no one knocked on the door to let me know. No one left a sign in my front yard saying that the lawn was fertilized by your company, as was the case before.I believe I was unjustly charged for the $116.54 of this disputed bill, and request the Revdex.com to resolve this matter.Desired Settlement: Cancellation of the disputed service balance of $115.54 plus interest charge of $1.00.

Response:

To whom it may concern,

We had limited correspondence with this customer in regards

to our renewal process, how it works, and his concerns about it. During one of

these exchanges, I had asked the customer to let me know what he thought a fair

resolution would be and never heard back.

We have since decided to write off the outstanding balance

on the account so that customer has no further monetary obligation with our

company.Thanks in advance.Green Lawn Fertilizing
