Om Wednesday September 7, 2016, the company donated a service call as a goodwill gesture, to please the customer.  Mr [redacted] directed the efforts of the service technician to make modifications to his gutter system that were not covered by warranty.  The customer did not pay the company for the service.  Please close this file as satisfactory, as the company did as requested by the customer. SincerelyJim B[redacted]GutterMaxx LP

The company is aware of conversations that have taken place with the customer.  The company is experiencing severe backlogs in the service department and will handle the service call as soon as they are able.  We have the customer's service request booked into the system and will be calling for an appointment within the  next couple of weeks.  We ask that the customer remain patient until then.  The call will be completed.Thank you[redacted]

From: [redacted] Sent: Thursday, November 05, 2015 8:10 AM To: drteam Subject: Re: You have a New Message from Revdex.com Regarding Complaint #[redacted] When the 2 gentlemen from GutterMaxx arrived at my house they still tried to get out of taking the clogs out of my gutters.  They asked me questions about whether I had had someone else work on the gutter and therefore had nullified the warranty.   (One of the gutters had a piece dislodged and I, like a fool, mentioned that I had to hire someone else to eliminate ice dams).  One guy also tried to convince me that I don't actually know what a clog looks like.  He told me it had merely  rained hard.   I insisted I had a clog.  .Anyway, the two men did not check in with me before they left.  I saw their ladders set up and some dirt on the ground underneath one of the clogs.  . No water was run through the gutter to verify they eliminated the clog.  The next time it rained I saw proof that the gutter had once again backed up over my back door. I am not convinced  the clogs are completely gone.  In the future, I will have my husband go up on a ladders and take out the clogs himself.  This is the whole reason why I got these gutters - so my husband wouldn't have to clean the gutters.    I would never recommend this company to anyone.  Having to file a Revdex.com complaint and then fight with these sleazy guys to get them to honor their guarantee is not something I intend to do again.  So, they have accomplished their mission.

The Company acknowledges that water issues can take time and even require multiple trips.  Our Company has more than 45.000 customers across the United States and does not remove our product or refund money.  The reason for this is that ultimately we solve a problem that keeps us from having to ultimately turn our back on a customer.  We have not done that here and we do not expect to.  The company stands by our original answer to the customer.  Please provide your dates for us to make the adjustments. SincerelyGutterMaxx LPJames [redacted]

The company scheduled and performed a service call on the gutters for the customer.  After an inspection of the gutters was performed, the customer was informed that the gutters were clean inside.  The customers use of the word "Sleazy" is not called for.  The service men explained the warranty to the customer, which is clearly spelled out in her contract, which she signed acknowledging she read and accepted all conditions.  The customer was not charged any money for the call as the company absorbed the costs of the call.  We are within agreements to charge for a non-warranty call.  We are sorry the customer is not happy, however the company is not responsible for debris outside our gutter.  The customer merely needs to spray gutter occasionally with a nozzles garden hose and exterior debris will be washed away.The company made a good faith attempt to make the customer happy.SincerelyGutterMaxx L.P.Jim [redacted]

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  My concern is not only for the product but the customer service which is non existent.  What I expected was a product that works and if not then the company has enough knowledge to handle the fix.  I don't expect several trips and each time after rain that I have to call the company to say the fix and the product does not work. Really!I also had asked for other customers in my area who had installed the gutter product so I can get their feedback on product and service.  Of course. I did not get any.I have provided videos of the issue and all the contacts I have made and the frustration I am feeling.I stand behind my request to remove the product and return my money.

Revdex.com:It is extremely misleading for the Revdex.com to publish an A+ rating for this company because they have an ongoing problem with a timely response for their guarantee.
The fact that they managed to find someone to honor that guarantee J-U-S-T because a complaint was filed with the Revdex.com does NOT hold with A+ behavior.
