I am rejecting this response because: H&R Block is lying.  I have responded to every e-mail H&R Block has sent me, but H&R never replies.This is a simple issue.  They just need to answer one question.  Did H&R Block fix my taxes or not?

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
H&R Block took full responsibility for total 2015 tax liability and sent check for lien amount of $2,681.00. Payment was sent overnight mail on 11/10/2017. I was also reimbursed for filing fees, accrued Penalties and Interest. I am very satisfied.

I am rejecting this response because: I [redacted] did business H&R Block not the bank u need to resolve this with the bank and get me my [redacted] refund the game is over u have the nerve to tell me I need to work it out with the bank spoke to bank multiple times and there tellin me that H&R Block is the one that needs to work with bank to release these funds back for some reason u think it's ok to tell customers what u want to well u ain't gonna tell me what u want to and think is ok one way or another I will get my refund from H&R Block it might not be today or tomorrow but I promise u I will get My money pay attention                                                                   JG ????

The resolution (a full refund) is satisfactory to me --only when the business actually sends me the refund that was verbally promised during my telephone conversation on March 27, 2015. As of today, April 3, 2015 a refund has not been received from the business.I reserve the right to reopen this complaint if the refund from the business is not received by April 17, 2015.

our company's policy to reimburse upon receipt of the 1st notice from the taxing authority, it was explained to Mr. Nordich that if the tax liability was not paid in full by the date of that notice, he would be responsible for any additional penalties and interest assessed. In addition to the reimbursement of interest, the client’s tax preparation fees were also refunded as a client service gesture. As such, we consider this matter resolved. I am rejecting this response because: I got told the only thing H&R Block will do for me is pay the $35 interest fee. They did admit they were at fault and incorrectly filed my tax return but refuse to help pay the $1264 that is owed. I did not file my taxes incorrectly they did so why is it now my responsibility to pay the full amount due. I paid for a service costing me $236 and they didn't enter in one off my W-2's. I have been told by a manager and General manager that yes they did forget to enter in my W-2 but the best they could do for me was to pay the $35 and offer to do this years taxes for free.  I have already filed my taxes for this year and I do not feel comfortable with H&R Block filing since they failed to do their job last time. I DO NOT feel like this a fare offer they should have to pay the $1264 since it is their mistake.

Dear Revdex.com, Our records reflect that in accordance with H&R Block’s Peace of Mind® Extended Service Plan, a claim was submitted on our client’s behalf for both the 2013 and 2014 tax years. Mrs. [redacted] received an Audit Tax Authority Notice for Tax year 2013 stating that...

student loan interest deduction and employee business expenses were being audited. We assisted Mrs. [redacted] with the audit and as a result the IRS disallowed business expenses on both the 2013 and 2014 tax returns suggesting that the tax payer was unable to support whether the expenses were paid during the tax year or whether the expenses were ordinary and necessary for the job. However, further review of the 2013 tax return reflects overly stated student interest that resulted in a balance due. This was not an issue on the 2014 return. As such, the 2013 claim for tax liability, interest and penalty as it relates to the overly stated interest, has been approved. Dear Revdex.com, In response to Mr. [redacted]’s rebuttal, our records reflect that the client’s ITIN issue was corrected and has been mailed to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) for processing. If there are any further concerns relating to the ITIN application, we encourage Mr. [redacted] to contact his local H&R Block office for assistance. Otherwise, it can take several months for the IRS to review and issue an ITIN. In our efforts to make amends in this situation, we have reimbursed tax preparation fees and approved Mr. [redacted]’s request to be compensated for the Child Tax Credit that was not granted by the IRS due to the ITIN issue. I am rejecting this response because:
The district manager and I did not come to a mutual agreement.  He only refunded me 125.00 of the orginal amount I had requested, which was the full amount of my tax prep fees.  He felt that was was fair enough, I did not.I went through so much unnecessary stress to attempt to get my taxes done correctly.  The ** only refunded the 125.00 because he said that "h&r block is standing behind the federal return that was done correctly."  Yes, it was...after I basically walked my tax professional where to put what number where on the computer, along with many other customer service issues.  I never should have been told it was my fault.  Ever. I was told by the DM that he did not know that I had contacted the b.b.b, and he said that his refund decisions usually stand, but he has never dealt with a b.b.b complaint, and corporate may decide to do more. So I am still asking for the whole refund amount.
