While visiting my grandparents in CA, my mother shipped some very old China dishes that were my great-grandmother's. My great-grandparents brought them to the states from Sweden when they immigrated here. UPS didn't mark the package fragile & it was delivered to the neighbors house. The dishes were completely destroyed. My father called UPS to complain & he wasn't even offered a reimbursement for shipping!!! Complete BS.

I have never in my life have been given so many wrong turns as I have in dealing with UPS's customer service. I purchased an item from ebay on October 18th. Initially it was to be delivered to my door on October 23rd. I did not want the driver to leave this package at my door so I changed the delivery to an access point(UPS Store) near me. For some reason it was changed to hold for a later delivery time. I called customer service on October 24th and was told it was sitting at the Phoenix hub. I went to that location and to my surprise it wasn't there. The agent at the counter gave me an address and a phone number of a warehouse where my package should be. I called customer service again and spoke with a supervisor. He told me the the package was still in West Virginia. He contacted a supervisor at that facility where the package was found and was suppose to be changed to 3 day shipping. I was promised I would receive the package by October 30th. On October 30th I called customer service AGAIN and asked why I wasn't getting my package on the 30th. It was still in transit and wouldn't receive it until November 2nd. The supervisor in West Virginia neglected to change the shipping to 3 day. So after all is said and done my package has taken over 2 weeks to go from West Virginia to Phoenix, AZ. The package I ordered is archery equipment and I needed time to set it up for a hunt that was planned months ago for the weekend of October 31st. I had to cancel the hunt and lose $200 deposit because UPS cant send a 5 pound package from West Virginia to Phoenix, AZ in less than 2 weeks. "We Love Logistics" should be "We love Providing Customers With Logistical Nightmares"

UPS has gradually declined in their delivery service to a third world class service company. Their customer service representatives are obtuse and extremely apathetic toward their customer's needs.

They notify you of a late day delivery and deliver the package in the morning when no one is home to receive it; they drop off large packages on the side off the road instead of putting it in a safe place by the door.

I have contacted UPS on several occasions and their service seems to be getting worst each time, which prompted me to contact the Revdex.com regarding this matter. UPS has a veneer of improvement with a new website but the rest has remain the same and even declined in many areas. I truly don't apprehend what happen to this company... they use to be beautiful!

I have been using UPS for over 20 years and have lived in 3 different cities in SC during that time. I have always been very satisfied with their service. They always deliver my packages to the correct address, intact and on time. Today, for the first time ever, a mistake was made with my delivery. I believe the driver was new and confused about the address. I had no problems at all getting through to the phone number provided on their website. I was not put on hold, and a real person answered my call. My issue was immediately resolved and my package was delivered promptly. I have had horrible experiences with other shippers, so whenever I have a choice, I always choose UPS.

UPS does not care if packages are delivered to the correct address. My complaint of $100.00+ worth of merchandise delivered to a incorrect address was ignored. They deserve an F rating for operating a business that can't do its intended job.

The most incompetent delivery company I've experience in my life, even the [redacted] is ten times better. I've ordered a lot from [redacted] and the only times I had any issues is with [redacted] delivery. UPS drivers are the only one that are not able to call or there is no way to get in contact with them. I even provided a front gate key to one of your drivers to make it easier to deliver, but it doesn't help at all. Yesterday (Friday), was the last straw, since I was waiting for a very important shipment that contained a gift I need today (Saturday). I even paid extra for next day delivery, was at home the whole day, authorised a shipment release online and still your driver was not able to deliver it and after half of hour on the phone with half-English speaking customer representative I was told that there is now way to get the package until Monday afternoon. Shame, real shame!

I was supposed to receive a package from San Antonio to Kansas. The package was in an envelope....it was scanned in 3 times from the time it arrived in Kansas at the warehouse. Supposed to be delivered that day the package tracking came up with "receiver request for pickup"! I didn't request to pick anything up. I live 30 minutes from the warehouse. When I tracked down the warehouse they told me it may be because I lived in a newer neighborhood! Not the case...my house was built in the 1970's. There was so explanation as to why this was done! She apologized and let it be known it would be delivered the next day. After the package didn't show the following day I called again! She said she had 3 people on it and had looked herself and the package was missing! Told me the only thing that could have happened was that because it was an envelope it was probably caught in the belt! Told me to call 1800 ups number and file a tracker.
Called customer service...NO HELP!

On 12/23 a package was delivered to my house I wasn't home. The driver left a notice stating the package will be dropped off at the Drop Off Store the next day. I go to the Drop Off store and the package wasn't there. I called the 800 number and the person informed me to come the Forster Street Office in Brooklyn to pick up package. I go to the Forster Street Office they informed me they are short staff. Is this my problem. After 1 hour the Supervisor came out to tell me the driver never took the package to the Drop Off Store and the package in locked on truck until Tuesday. My daughters Christmas is destroyed. I will never order from a company that uses UPS.

This business is so bad several times my package was not delivered on time!

My order shipped on the 1st of December with 2 day air shipping. Did not receive the package until the 6th of December.

I had my passport shipped via the 2-day shipment of UPS. The website of UPS claims this to be secure and reliable. Unfortunately, my passport got lost (well, still under investigation). If I didn't bother to track it, I would not have been able to know this happened. I sent another mail on the same day via the usual USPS delivery (w/o tracking), and they were able to deliver that mail. I would NEVER trust UPS with important documents anymore. Not even their supposed secure shipment.

People pay "premium" for shipments like this and yet this happens. Their system should have picked up that my package sent via a 2-day shipment has had the same status for 1 week, which was "a label has been created and ready for UPS." Their system should automatically flag these kinds of shipments and investigate right away to mitigate potential loss. I have lost my chance to see my parents in Canada this Christmas, and I have not seen them for 3 years. The plane fare to Canada, which cost me over $600, will also be a waste because of this. To get another passport, I have to travel all the way to Chicago, pay an additional $150 and wait for 4-6 weeks. All because UPS lost my package.

I see the UPS driver from my window last night at 7:30p and send my fiance down to meet the driver who he encounters in the apartment building elevator. No access issues to the building this time...He sees the driver has only one package for another tenant and asks if there's any other deliveries. Driver states no, trying to finish route and go home for the night, and leaves. Driver must have found in truck after other delivery and decides to not attempt, writes a door tag and leaves. Now if you can take two minutes to write a door tag, why can't you take two more minutes to deliver instead of me staying up all night last night and today too? And not just a 4 hour block of time but all day? And why couldn't you give me the option to pickup at the access location at the pharmacy on JFK Blvd., like you did for another customer that you left a door tag for last night above where you put my door tag... And the original delivery was scheduled for 11/30 but UPS decides to reschedule it for 11/29 without notifying the company I purchased from to let me know or let me know directly? So why is there a constant issue delivering to me? You don't use the building intercom system and you change delivery dates and times without notifying the customer. This is not the first time there were problems, this is the first time I am stating to the Revdex.com a review. Last delivery was the same issue and the two guys you sent back with my package were rude to me telling me on the intercom I need to come down and get my package and were rude to another lady at my building who was pregnant and couldnt carry a tall furniture package who you both refused to assist. There is a serious problem with customer service here.

I am truly disappointed with the services NOT provided by UPS. I ordered a phone on 03/11/2016. I was given an arrival date of 03/15/2016. After the first failed attempt I got someone to cut time out of their day to be home. Instead of consistent delivery time, the UPS showed up far earlier. The first time was after 5pm and the second was before noon. I then went online to schedule a window... for a fee of $8.00 (really?). Guess what... FAILED! They did not arrive to drop off until almost 7pm. But I was only notified of this at the time they scanned it. I once again had someone interrupt their time to try and be there for the package (due to the window) and UPS didn't show. Why offer something you can't deliver? And if you can't, how would you not communicate to the customer? Then on the info sheet, why is there an area for a signature, and direction to leave product at the door, if you're just going to ignore it? Now I have waited 3 additional days, and have to go to the center to pick it up wasting my time and driving 25 miles out of my way to get it. Then when you get a hold of customer rep who merely cuts and pastes policy and direction, it's not a good thing. Don't apologize and try to "rectify" the situation, when you have no solutions or offer any type of compensation. All that's offered is "sorry". If I managed this way at my current place of employment, I'm sure that I'd be without a job! Bottom line: I will find out how my product will be shipped prior to ordering, and if it's UPS and the shipper is not willing to change their method, then I will be finding a different person to purchase it from. UPS WILL NOT get any more business from me.

Ordered cookies for Christmas and sent to relatives via 2 Day Delivery. Supposed had been delivered on the 23rd of December. When I realized that by 9:30PM the package has not moved for an entire day, I called. Had to call 3 times, customer service was rude, kept hanging up on me while apparently trying to call the facility and locate the package, I am pretty sure no one did that, because after over 30 min on hold each time they apparently just hang up the line. So when I called the third time I was understandably upset. Now this lady tells me "oh well, will will not be delivered when you want it to be delivered, we are too busy. It might get delivered tomorrow." If you are so busy, you should not expect us to pay $$$ for a specific delivery. She was absolutely rude, UPS needs to employ better people! The best thing is, I logged in the next morning to see of indeed the package will be there supposedly on the 27th! That is worst than a ground shipping and is absolutely unacceptable! It's the works company ever! I will NEVER AGAIN use UPS for anything!
Over the past couple years, this company went from Good, to OK, to now just simply horrible!

Completely unexceptable! I am a small business owner. My place of business is just for storage of my material and all of my jobs are on customer locations so I am not at my shop often and I can not have someone here to sign for a package. Yet UPS will not let me sign a waiver to have the packages left! However if I was just a residential customer, this would not be a problem. What a load of crap! I needs these shipments to do my job! Thanks UPS for nothing!

My experience with UPS here in Nashville, TN has been that of having to go the last mile for the pickup. The drivers aren't allowed enough time to actually bother to knock so instead they just leave an infonotice and run. When you call corporate they just put it back in the hands of the local staff who continue to promote the practice of drop note and run.

And speaking of going that last mile, expect to wait 45-60 minutes while they try to find your package if they did remember to pull it off the truck.

I'd think it was just UPS but I had no problems with UPS when I was in Austin, TX earlier this year so this definately is just an issue with this region that the corporate office refuses to fix.

I just opened an account with UPS a couple of months ago for my new business. They are not reliable to pick up packages when requested and my driver tells the company he has picked it up when he hasn't. So disappointed with UPS and am going to cancel my account and go with [redacted] NOT RELIABLE AT ALL!!

I am so sick to death of UPS, they either like to play games with other peoples packages or they are totally inept. Not for the first time have I had to wait extended periods of time for my packages to be delivered, A couple of years ago ordered some perishable items from Amazon with a two day delivery period as this was a perishable item. I had to wait more than 10 days before I received the package. I called the company and explained that I had not received this item and was sent a replacement order, which, what a surprise, that too took almost 2 weeks to arrive. Other incidents since then have not endeared me to UPS.
Almost 2 weeks ago I ordered some items online and was given as estimated delivery date of 11/1/16. On Tuesday November 1st I checked the tracking number and found that my items had been delivered here ( I live in Seattle) on Monday 31st October so I reasonably thought that my package would be delivered the next day. Wrong. The tracking says it was delivered to Seattle on 10/31/16, scheduled delivery date Tuesday Nov 1. was not delivered and the next day it the tracking changed yet again to Wednesday Nov 2nd , didn't get it that day either, the next day the tracking changed yet again to Thursday Nov 3rd, still didn't get my package, today is Friday November 4th and I still do not have my package, and there is no scheduled delivery date set and the tracking still says "in transit" Seattle is not that big, how long does it take to deliver a medium size package from one area of Seattle to the other. When I called customer service I was given no reason as to why it had not been delivered. Unfortunately I have no control over how my packages are shipped. Is it acceptable for our parcels to be held without a viable reason until the carrier (UPS) decides they are going to deliver. My answer to that is NO. As UPS do not deliver on the weekends, how much longer am I to wait as by Monday it will have been sitting somewhere here in Seattle for a whole week. Is this how UPS conduct business without a thought to the customer, the attitude seems to be to hell with the customer.
Unfortunately there is no way to contact anyone in authority, or the corporate office unless I write a letter with no guarantee of a response.

I ordered software that was to be delivered according to UPS email to my zip code cause I guess I am the only house in my zip code:

Tracking Number:
1Z97XWXXXXXXXXXXXX

UPS Service:
GROUND

Delivery Location:
PORTLAND, OR XXXXX
US

Number of Packages:
1

Package Weight:
1.0 LBS
Yet the doorbell was not rang or the door knocked on and surprise surprise no package I am lout $80 dollars

Drivers do not understand how to call customers or follow the very basic instructions of leave the parcel at the door. Customer service representatives like to give you empty assurances that you will get your package on time even though you wont. I paid $50 for next day shipping and 3 bussiness days later I still havent gotten it because they dont know how to follow simple directions.
