I ordered an item and paid extra for one day shipping. The package arrived to the local UPS center on the very next day. However, it has not yet been delivered. It has been 5 days. Yesterday (4th day) I called and was hung up on. Today (5th) day I called back and was told that they would put in a request for the local center to call back with the status of the package IF and ONLY IF I told them what was in the package. If the item was not of urgent matter they would not put the request in for a call back from the local office. What is in my package is none of their business and should not need to be shared to track a package that is apparently lost in their local distribution center for 5 days. I am appalled on many levels. One for not delivering the package overnight as I had paid for it, 2. for being hung up on, 3. waiting so long for the package to be delivered and 4 for having to explain a personal item in order for the package to be tracked. This situation is a joke!!

I've already spent almost 2 hours working with UPS customer service to try to get a simple issue resolved, so I'll keep this complaint short...
I emailed the issue to UPS. UPS did not address the issue. I called UPS and asked for manager for issue resolution...spent 40+ minutes on hold and with manager (mostly on hold). Manager said they would get back with me shortly. 7+ hours passed ... no reply from manager. Called UPS again, still on hold with them now ... on hold for 55+ minutes so far to speak with a manager? any manager (it's taken so long I asked customer service associate to help - Gloria, but she could not and did not). Horrible customer service.

My package (Tracking number [redacted]) wasn't delivered according to the schedule and the notifications from the UPS. Instead it wasn't delivered at all and I got the falsified notification from by the UPS : "We tried to deliver your package but could not leave it without a signature." Really? I witnessed the whole scenario of laziness and lying by the "greatest "UPS employees.
On December 07, 2015 after I saw the brown UPS truck outside of my building I immediately stepped outside to finally get my package. It was around 15:00 EST (that's the time when UPS comes into my area) Here I am standing outside of my apartment in the rain awaiting for 2 (TWO!) not one but TWO employees (male and female) finishing delivering packages to my neighbors at the end of my building. I begun walking towards them but they got back in the truck and drove away passing me. The female employee was driving and male employee was sitting in the jump-seat.
A few minutes later I received an email saying: "We tried to deliver your package but could not leave it without a signature. We will take your package to DR PHONE FIX 3095 on 12/08/2015 and let you know when it is ready to be picked up."
Are you kidding me? That day I cancelled an appointment so I wont miss the UPS delivery with a very important package. Now I have to wait another day, cancel more of my appointments, then spend my valuable time driving to the remote UPS locations during my work hours. And all that because of the "wonderful hard working" UPS employees that were too lazy to deliver another package in the rain then lie about it? The next day, on my way to the remote UPS location I've met the regular UPS delivery person for my area ( for a little over 10 years). He stated that he saw my package at that place and questioned the initial delivery people about it. They also lied to him saying they were at my door day before. Where is a sticky door note regarding the status of the package then? What a shame!
There is more into it. A few hours later (19:29 EST), after I became available, I've contacted the UPS customer service on the phone. I spend 23 min explaining the incident and the customer service rep Francis (who was very pleasant and helpful) did file a complaint for me. She said that I will receive a phone call or email-follow-up from the UPS within 24 hrs. Also my package will be re-delivered to my apartment. Instead , the next day at 10:36am EST I received a phone call from someone with no name stating that my UPS package is at the remote location and ready to be picked. No so much for the delivery to my door, huh?
There is no option on the UPS.com website to file a complaint. I guess they receive so many of them that decided not to give this option to UPS users.
First of all, I would like an apology from the UPS management.
Second, I would like the above mentioned employees to be counseled, may put them through extra training.
Third, I would like a credit on my UPS account for a future shipment.

Straightforward overnight delivery of medication for my son. They lost the package. They conducted what they called an "investigation". After determining that they couldn't find it, they are now going to reimburse me for the cost of the delivery and the medication.

That seems somewhat of a typical response; however, how does a company whose only job is to deliver packages let a package disappear into thin air? I feel that they simply don't care - just toss of a bit of reimbursement. I, on the other hand, was completely depending upon them. The failure to deliver and to continue to search for my package to me constitutes a complete failure of the company.

Earlier this year, they sent a package I had ordered from a company to a different city.

Incompetence seems to be their mode of operation.

Horrible experience with UPS today. I received an international package delivered to me, only for delivery man to come back 1 hour later to force me to pay for the brokerage fee. I am extremely experienced in receiving tariffs and fees for these sort of packages; however, I am used to having it billed to me after I receive the shipment. I forced to pay ON THE SPOT with a CHECK in order (and no other form of payments were accepted). I The delivery person threatened to call LPD on me. I don't have checks. I was fine with credit card or having it billed to me directly through their accounting department, but why a check?! Why threaten me with LPD? I didn't even steal the package. The package was handed to me directly. I have never had this issue with [redacted] before and I will definitely move all my business and personal related shipments with [redacted] At least I'm treated as a human.
