I will accept their offer to remove the $chargePlease note, the reports filed to the Columbus Police Department by Rebecca at Oakwood Management, were inactivated due to a lack of evidenceThe police officer believes the reports were filed in an attempt to discredit me with the Revdex.com I have not gotten a copy of my police report yet, but will if it's necessary

Hello and thank you for bringing this complaint to our attentionAlthough we do legally need the missing addendum signed, we have decided at this time to stop the process of filing eviction due to our mistake of leaving this addendum out during the time of her lease signingIt is my understating
that the utility company has gone to great lengths in order to explain and clarify their billing process but we are not that company, therefore I cannot speak on their behalfWe do hope that this residents issues have been settled are willing to do all that we can to assist her

rejecting this response because: when meeting with your agent at the property, there was zero pre-screeningNo asking of any questions that would have prevented me from applying and losing out on moneyHad she taken the time to ask questions and to state your policies for approval or denial; I would have never applied because I would know I didn't fit the criteriaI have since applied to separate apartment companies both whom had pre-screened me to ensure I wasn't wasting money and timeYour company states its policy which is not a problem, but the issue here is your agent failed to properly disclose any credit criteria before I applied, thus resulting in wasted moneyPer the FCRA due to my denial I am also requesting your company to provide me with a copy of my credit report, and a letter explaining my denial and the reason why

I’ve been asked to respond to your Revdex.com complaint. In your resident file, there is a letter from *** *** Company (attached). The letter basically states you are a District Manager and what store locations you are responsible for. It does not state the company is transferring
you. If your employer is not mandating the transfer, you do not qualify for the “Transfer Clause” in your rental agreement. It appears you entered into a “Special Contract Release Agreement”, as known as a “Contract Buy-Out” (attached). The agreement clearly states the terms and conditions of the release. You paid the fee of $to buy out of your rental agreement. You are still responsible for any damages beyond wear and tear. You returned the unit to us in a very poor condition (pictures attached). It appears the charges assessed to you for damages are valid. Your account was placed with our collection agency, FABCO. I encourage you to contact them to settle your account. FABCO can be reached at ###-###-####

I've been asked to respond to your complaint regarding your carpet replacement charge. David B*** inspected your unit on 7/1/and discover urine in the carpet. I have attached two pictures that were taken to support this claim. I have also attached two carpet
invoices. The invoice shows the carpet was new at the time of your move in. The invoice shows the carpet was replaced after your move out. Both invoices show that the grade of carpet installed was "Talk of the Town/Briarwood". As you can see from the carpet invoice, the full cost to replace carpet and kilz/seal the affected areas was $1,098.21. You were only charged $737.43, depreciating the cost using a year formula, plus the cost to kilz/seal floors. Your account was placed with our collection agency, FABCO, on 9/25/2015. You will need to contact them to settle your account. FABCO's phone number is ###-###-####

They refuse to refund my money

*** and *** *** communicated to the property manager that they wanted to exercise the job transfer clause in the lease agreement The agreement clause reads:TRANSFER CLAUSE: Lessee shall be released from this lease forty-five (45) days after the office of the Lessor receives a letter
of transfer from Lessee's employer of his/her transfer out of the county of which the Lessee currently resides Said letter of transfer shall be subject to verification by Lessor In any event, Lessor shall not allow Lessee to be released pursuant to this provision prior to Lessee's occupancy of the premises for six (6) months nor without the payment of a $settlement fee for the early termination of the lease agreement Payment must be made on or before the vacating date.The ***s turned in their keys and vacated the apartment on March 26, On April 16,the property manager received a fax with the letter of the job transfer The termination fee of $has never been received.The ***s did not comply with the terms of the transfer clause within the lease agreement They are financially responsible for all charges until the end of their lease or until the time time that the apartment is re-rentedAt this time, the apartment has not been re-rented.Thank you.*** ***Customer CareOakwood Management

Thank you for the email dated 05/09/2015.I have spoken to the technicians and the regional maintenance faciitator regarding your air conditioning unit at HiberniaThe air condiitoning unit is working as it designed to work.Heat rises and being on the third floor, your apartment will be warmer than
the lower apartment homes.In order to achieve consistent cooling, you should set the thermostat a a constant temperature all day long. When turnning it off during the daytime hours, it becomes difficult to cool the apartment quickly in the evening.Please feel free to call me with any questions.Thank you

Hello and thank you for allowing us to respond to this complaintWhile it is unfortunate that this resident had a break in while being a resident at our community, we can not take blame in this issueHe claims his garage was pried open and his car was broken into, but we have seen no evidence of a
forced entry and we have not received a police reportRegardless, it would have still been his responsibility for these items and at no time was he told he was not responsible for the paymentWe did originally charge him for the missing garage opener and the lock change for the missing keysSince his move out though, this resident had threatened harm to our corporate office, the community he once lived in, as well as the management teamWe have had to file police reports due to the nature of the threats. In an attempt to secure the safety of our staff, we at this time are agreeing to remove the charge of $for the above listed items as a courtesyWe hope this prior resident finds this satisfactory

Hello there and good morning, Thank you for reaching out to Oakwood Management to address this matter Pertaining to this Revdex.com dispute, I have attached numerous scanned documents including the tenants lease agreement, police report and notices of
charges being applied to this account We do have licensed and bonded contractors that we use for maintenance and repairs and do not allow tenants to hire their own for legality and insurance reasons This tenant had previously agreed with the fact that he was responsible for the damages that occurred at this residenceHe was notified on 9/13/2016, 10/4/2016, and 11/9/that he, per his lease, is responsible for these damages. He did have renters insurance at the time the damages occurred, so it is within his rights to file a claim to cover these damages. In the police report, the tenant states " that he believes the person of interest (name withheld) is responsible due to him being a former roommate who has been acting strangely and is jealous of him."
