Worst experience I've ever received when looking for coverageFirst not only did the representative Rick misrepresent and mislead me during the initial selling of insurance in January of but when I called several times to complain and receive a refund for my initial payments since what the rep misrepresented, the manager advised I should have taken the initiative to ask more questions so I was at fault for not having a clear understanding and no refund was eligibleSecond, THIS is not company in which you can have plans like advertised but simply discounts, very poor discounts at thatAfter dealing with rude reps for a month and having NO COVERAGE, I cancelled my plans in Febraury only to still be charged for March and AprilIt is May and I still have not been completely reimbursedIt is very hard finding a affordable plan that won't scam you out of your moneyHighly disappointed with Health Insurance Innovations and I feel as though they are crooks

On Jan 10,I signed up with this company for insurance..as I spoke with the agent for over an hour about what I needed and what I was looking for he assured me that this was a very good choice..I am self employed and pay for coverage out of pocket...I am my own company...on Jan 21, came out of my bank for payment of coverage...Everything the agent told me while signing up was FALSE.....From my doctor being in network to my dentist which I asked specifically ...After being on the phone with this company back and forth for a total of hours not only was the customer service HORRIBLE, from talking over me to being rude...I asked to cancel and they kept transferring my call to different people who tried to force me to stay with them...I asked for a full refund and I'm not sure if its possible...please be mindful that now open enrollment is closed so now me and my daughter will have to go a year without insurance and on top of that the IRS will charge me for not being coveredThis company gave me the wrong information and misinformed me to make the sale

I have been waiting since Feburary for my insurance card to come in the mail and still have not received itThey have drafted $out of my account and I just cancelled account out & cancelled insurance policy! It's a scam! And I demanded them a complete refund on every dime they took out!! Please tell me I will get it all back within 3-business days like they said I would!!!??

HII, Allied and Associated firms are all a scam or rip offThey first of all are not ACA accredited, do not pay your bills stating that they are under review and have not received the proper forms from the Dror whom ever it may beYou get a complete run around on the phoneJust a Very, Very BAD Experience with any and all companies associated with HIIWill Not and Do Not Recommend any one to utilize these companies

This company is a scam-I have alerted my bank to change my infoThey took my money then less than hours later when I had days to cancel have sent me fake emails saying it's being canceled months away-They owe me a full refund and I cannot get anyone on the phone

This company was complete scam, IT does not returns or emails, contacted this company over times, spoke with a rep, that made it sounds like a company I needed for Health InsuranceTook my money, never receive cards or a written policyCall times, always got a email stating that they would contact me in hoursNever got a call, about weeks someone call to say that days review was overI was not getting a refundThe benefits that I needed and was told is not the samePlease that I work very hard and I don't have money to give awayPlease let me know if anything can be donePlease give me a call or email me

We have reviewed carefully the products presented within the certificate, the website, related phone support, and found it to be a misrepresented and misleading product. The phone support was nothing more than a recording of person reading the very detailed policies, practically word for word, what is available online The help lines were disconnected phone numbers The poorly printed insurance cards are worthless because they either refer you to a disconnected phone number or have a disclaimer on the back stating that it is not an insurance card The sales person used a bait and switch type tactic with us including the name of the company We never saw the "F" rating via the Revdex.com before for HII, but that is because we were looking at some company that had not been rated yet by Revdex.com The support emails do not seem to bounce back, so we went ahead and notified the company via email to cancel the policy and refund our money

I was feeling that this company was a scam, so I googled the number provided (954) 606-and noticed a lot of customer complaintsI also went on Yelp and noticed that there was a rep responding to commentsName is Diana CWhen you do a reverse lookup of that image you will notice it has Diana's Picture from a company called ***I left a review on YELP as well and I am expecting them to change their profile pictureI gave them my social number, address, and my bank infoI canceled my debit card and signed up for Lifelock because I fear that I will be a victim of identity theft

I used Health Insurance Innovations for the summer while I transferred to my Graduate SchoolWhen I started school again I was covered under the school's insurance so I cancelled my policy in August However Health Insurance Innovations charged me for another months until I called again and cancelledThey said I never cancelled and charged me an extra month Do not use or trust this company they cheated me out $and I am a poor college student living paycheck to paycheck

I too was misledI was on line looking at different companies and I receive a phone callI asked Christina L*** for ratesThey seemed reasonableI looked through the contract prior to signing., and called with concerns about the Affordable health care and I was told not to worryI had no other information available and I submitted a paymentAfter looking at Revdex.com reviews I decided to cancelI was unable to contact Christina and called the main numberA person named Jin cancelled the policies which I was led to believe it was policyI am told I will receive a credit on my credit card within days I called to cancel within an hour and now I have to wait days to be creditedMy advice is don't go forward with this company until you can research They are definitely practicing misleading practices If I have a problem receiving my credit I will post another neative reviewHealth insurance is stressful enough without companies misleading youThis company is not legitimate

When I signed up for temporary insurance there were two specific questions I asked: When discussinc co-payments, I asked "So, for example, how much would it cost if I went to a dermatologist?" the response was "35-dollars." I also asked if my premiums would be tax deductible...the answer was "yes."
Before finding a dermatologist I called and asked who was covered with the insurance in the area, they sent me an e-mail with a list including one minutes awayI made an appointment, and when I arrived I was told that it was not covered and had to pay $out of pocket (for which I have the receipt)The prescriptions necessary were not covered as well
Today I called to tell them I did not receive a Form 1095-A for tax purposes and was told that they do not provide them for this policy
Over months I was charged $and received benefits, while my condition has only deteriated
i'm not sure that this will matter at all, but if any one looking for health insurance sees this postPLEASE, rethink itfor the amount I was paying out, I did not think the quality of service as well as the customer service would be so inept,

Just horrible! Customer service is nonexistent I would not recommend at all Pay a bit more and get coverage that would be somewhat beneficial

I purchased over the internet a replacement policy from my Blue cross/Blue Shield in Nov and the agent had (ALL) the right answers for me to do just that.My BCBS policy was changing on 1/1/and I didnt like the changes so I switched to HII and saved $a month!!!!! Well after trying to use the dental part for a $claim they paid $and they my wife was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in December and was scheduled for surgery on 1/12.We pre registered with the hospital and they said everything was fine.BUT the day before surgery we received a call from the hospital saying that HII was NOT going to pay for this surgery! They said that there was a pre existing condition test done in dec which was NOT true and were not going to allow my wife her cancer surgery.Well we were just shocked hurt and numb from this news.So I contact my insurance friend who I should have used in the first place.He said they sold me a month "SHORT TERM" replacement policy NOT a BCBS month replacement policy and it DID NOT have to cover much of anything!!!!! So now I was so mad at myself for not taking the time to YELP or google HII and trusted this quick talking sg sales man from HII.So PLEASE READ THIS and all of the other Yelp,Google and Revdex.com reviews of HEALTH INSURANCE INNOVATIONS there NOT legit and a total scam!!!!!!! After they realized that we caught on to there little ponzi scam they BLOCKED my cell phone # from there members help line and I couldnt get through to them at all.So PLEASE READ and dont let this happen to you and your family

I am 100% dissatisfied with this company they have the worst customer service I have ever experienced, I've only had the policy for days and I want to cancel but can't speak to anyone in regards to my policy, this is truly a scamI have been on hold for an hour and haven't spoken to anyone yetdon't I repeat don't give them your hard earned money

I cannot believe this company is still in business...after speaking with an agent I gave my debit card number and had my husband and I signed up for health insurance...well they said they would email me my temporary ID cards..instead they txt them to me,sent m an email saying here is your temporary user name and password..PROBLEM: there was no temp username or password,I emailed them this problem and they said would be resolved in hrs,I called this morning and said I wanted it fixed immediately and was told an email was on its way...still NOTHING!! Something didn't feel right so I went online to check out Health Insurance Innovations...and wow is all I can say!!! the same complaints I have had..except they were not due to take money from my acct till the 3rd,so I immediately called to cancel this SO CALLED insurance!!! I was transferred different times..put on hold for an hour and finally when speaking with someone she persistently tried to stop me from cancelling!!! I told her I didn't want to hear anything she said I just wanted this cancelled asap...everything about this insurance is a lie..it is NOT insurance..it is a DISCOUNT program!!! I was lied to by the agent I initially spoke with..he said the companys name was MULTIPLAN.COM which when I was speaking to him I looked up and it showed great reviews and an A+ rating..later after enhancing my ID card I was TEXT it says HEALTH INSURANCE INNOVATIONS...upon looking that up..which is the REAL name of my insurance I read it has an F rating and in red bold letters says..THERE IS AN ALERT FOR THIS PLACE OF BUISNESS!!! I called and cancelled and to make double sure I am still not billed I called my bank and had my debit card cancelled!! DO NOT FALL FOR ANYTHING this place has to say...ALL LIES!!

I received insurance from them, not realizing that that insurance was not a traditional insurance plan, nor would it qualify for ObamacareI was misled over the phone to believe that these things were trueAs soon as I did some more research afterward, I immediately realized my mistake, and sent an email in asking for my insurance to be canceled and my policy to be refunded, as per the agreement I had been informed of over the phoneThis was within less than hours of getting the policy, and it was directly to HII's support email addressI received no response at all, and am now being told that I am still being charged for those policiesI changed my credit card information immediately to ensure I would not be charged a recurring cost without my knowledge, but I am concerned that the policy was left in place, I didn't receive a refund, and I received no response from the official help email address

THIS IS A SHADY BUSINESS WITH THE WORST POSSIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I was seeking individual health insurance when I stumbled upon Health Insurance Innovations I did not complete my due diligence by researching this company before giving them ALL of my information That part was my fault Had I completed research on this company before hand, I would have absolutely never have gotten insurance through them I explained to the agent, who was very abrupt and hasty with me, that I could NOT make any type of payment on my insurance plan until I get paid on the first of the month She said that would not be a problem and she could put a note on my account saying it should not be charged $until the first, but she needed my credit card information any way to validate everything for my insurance plan A little skeptical, I gave her my card information I woke up the next morning, checked my account, and discovered the $had been drafted from my account Clearly I was upset I called the number (which she told me was a direct line to her) my agent gave me and of course it is not a direct line, but a line that takes me to a bunch of different insurance agents This was not ok I waited for the next customer service representative and explained that I needed to talk to MY agent who set up MY insurance plan I gave the rep my agents name and she said that my agent was unavailable So, I asked for the supervisor or a manager in charge and the rep told me he was unavailable as well The rep said, "I can leave him a message to call you later." I said, "that would be great." At this point I was fuming Not only was I lied to by this company, but this "company" overdrafted my account causing me to remain in a negative balance until I got paid ( which was a week away) I asked if the rep to cancel my insurance plan and refund my money She said, "ok, in a day or two there will be an email headed your way saying your plan with us has been canceled 3-business days from that email is when you will see the money refunded back into your account" This did not please me, but AT LEAST I no longer had to do business with this dreadful company ever again
I called the "insurance company" back that afternoon, because of course the supervisor never returned my call and neither did my agentWhat kind of business is this?? Clearly they don't care about their customers I wanted to call back to A) check to make sure my account was completely closed and that NO MORE money would be drafted from my accountI was to the point where money wasn't a big deal, I just wanted this "company" out of my life for good B) to talk to a manager about my situation with my account being drafted AND the terrible customer service Of course, another representative answered thephone and when I asked to speak with MY agent, she was unavailable....again And when I asked to speak with a supervisor or manager, he was unavailable....again
This place is a joke and what they stand for as a business is a joke Even if this insurance company was the LAST insurance company on Earth....I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy
I hope my money is refunded in the next week, otherwise I will have to take legal action

HII was charging my bank account for $a month for the last months, in February I called them to stop Charging my bank account the customer service representative that helped me in that case told me that they were not going to continue charging, I come to find out in April that I was still being charged for "Access to a hrs Doctor that could write me RX", and that I had spoken to them on April on-lineWhich I never didToday 4/6/I went to my bank and put a Despute Claim they refunded me April's and March's charges within hours, I am still waiting on the email that the "LIVE REPRESENTATIVE" was going to send me in Minutes as of yesterday 4/5/
